@BlueBl1zzard ppl said they wanted GOME cuz they got RCP. When in comparission GOME is a better update to RCP. Now they are complaining cuz of not that GOME is a bad game but it is not of the same quality as Sleeping dogs.
I know this is first week of feb, but still they get sleeping dogs in the first week. Ofcourse there will be complains cuz now they are comparing GOME to sleeping dogs not GOME to GOME(a past EU update). Last month did you see how many customers were happy when Darksiders were given. It’s not that they want to complain every week. They want to complain when there is a disparity and NA gets the short end of the stick.
I cannot wait until the new xbox comes out. If im gonna be treated like a second class customer at least I’ll do it on a system that all my friends have. Why does it seem so hard for some real quality changes to come to plus. Please dont event try to patronize us with that bs about all this “value” im getting, because I dont see the value. You took my money now GIVE ME WHAT I PAID FOR. Equal value to EU. Doesnt have to be the same games but stop giving us garbage. If the person making deals with the publisher cant do it, then its time to find someone who can get things done. I am completely disenfranchised with the Playstation brand right now, and PS+ is leading the charge. Im sure you dont care but I am now voting with my wallet. Sony is losing a customer for sure.

First off, not here to complain (I’m an older gamer, lets just say I played pong when there was ONLY pong) Anyway, for the $50 a year we pay there really is no reason to complain. The content we get far exceeds that price and no one makes you pay it, it is a choice. Is every game for me? No, but I’ll try anything once, especially if its free. (My real gaming was back in the day, and sports and racing games were more my style) My real issue is I keep having at least one game almost every week I can not purchase or down load, granted so far they haven’t been that big a deal, like last weeks foosball… however with that said, it is getting rather annoying (Although some like the afore mentioned foosball, I wouldn’t play, but I do have kids that might) I’m paying to have these free games and when an issue like not being able to down load them comes up, well, you get the point. And yes, I have updated the system etc, and they still can not be purchased. I receive the message “This content is not available for purchase at this time” Or such as that… Is this an issue that can be corrected?
@goldenratio13(#450) I agree. Since you can’t keep free games if your plus subscription expires, and because there’s currently no way to buy a free plus game even if you did want to keep it, I too would prefer more discounts/sales. However that 75% off all new releases thing, I don’t see happening.

Morgan, your answers to the “how come US plus is so much crappier then EU plus” comments are rubbing me the wrong way.
It’s not a plus specific complaint either. The same thing happenes with stuff like “How come other regions got more PSone games for Vita then us” etc.
You always try to paint the reasons as being completely out of your/SCEA’s control. That is completely disingenuous. The reasons are not always “we’d do the same if we could”, Different people are running each branch of Sony and their own creative vision or whatever you want to call it is also playing a part in everything.
It would be nice if you would stop trying to paint us as complaining about things you have no control over and instead as being critical of things you do in fact have control over and adjust future decisions accordingly.
There are clearly some creative/philosophical differences with the people running each service that are contributing to the differences in the content available on each. That is what we are complaining about. Quit pretending that doesn’t exist.
Wow why all the complains? We are getting FREE games like every week for only 50$ a year… that’s less than 1$ for each game! Stop complaining and go purchase your Sleeping Dog for 60$ in a store.

To all the people who complain every week about these updates SHUT UP!! these are great games just because they are not necessarily games you always want to play doesn’t mean others don’t. GOD ENTITLED GAMERS!!! ye u pay for this service doesn’t mean u should be guaranteed new games you like the instant game collection is a service on top of the already awesome ps PLUS! many of you people complain about how these games don’t “look good” HAVE YOU PLAYED IT?!!! NO!!! the point of the instant game collection is 1) to promote games 2) make sure you always have something to play and 3) to introduce you to new games that you may never have played. There are MILLIONS of people who bought and LOVED the Walking Dead and never would have played it had they not had PS+.
LOL, you should check all the other weeks(not even months) including feb. They were laughing at NA+ for all the other updates. It hurts my feeling that NA+ service is getting mocked up during other weeks.

You know what I used to have to do as a kid? Look at the back of the box on a game and hope to god it didn’t suck after dropping 50 bucks for it. That was a lot of money in the 80’s for the uninitiated.
IF we do end up getting Sleeping Dogs one day we’ll probably see a slew of complainers because EU already had it. You can’t please everyone. For the love of god…..go ask your parents to explain the value of a dollar to you.
I’d be happy with just discounts and cloud saves for my plus membership. The free games are just a bonus. I didn’t sign up for plus because I wanted any specific free games. I just saw it as an amazing value as a gamer of 32 years. CHEERS!
Don’t listen to the haters, it was just a month ago where these were the titles everyone was screaming for. You can’t please everyone. This is an amazing update. I’m going to play the hell out of Guardians and the vita games. I unfortunately already have Kinetica, but it was amazing too. You could have staggered these week by week and kept me ecstatic for a month, but putting them all together just made me want to sign up for that year deal that is going on right now.
The best update was the June update last year. That one made me get a plus sub again but only for 3 months and I bought two games with 1 month sub. I was going to extend it to a year but no games I wanted were announced. Europe though has the games I want. Until we get AAA games again like last June, I am definitely not going back to plus.

If ppl were satisfied with the old 8-bit games, there wont be a any 1980*1200 resolution games nowadays. It was a change happened because some ppl wanted a change.So stop bashing the complainers, if u r happy, its good for u.
If Sleeping Dogs, Batman Arkham City and Crysis 2 were released next week, people would still complain that Ni no Kuni, Dead Space 3 and Sly Cooper 4 weren’t the IGC releases for that month. Further, if anyone thinks NA PS+ has it hard compared to the EU, look at the JP release list.
I’ll say again what I’ve said before, PS+ is the best value in the history of console (and now portable) gaming. If you’re not getting $4.16 of value from the PS+ IGC per month, I just don’t understand how you value games. Maybe you don’t have a Vita, or you’ve played some of the games released already, but I’ll happily try Guardians of Middle Earth this month and whatever else comes down the pipeline. I know I’m not alone when I say I’ve saved a hell of a lot more than $4.16 per month just on PS+ sales alone.
So, Morgan, keep up the good work and thanks for exposing yourself as the public face/punching bag of PS+. One last thing, if you (or anyone over there) could scrounge up some information on the Ratchet and Clank Vita disappearance, I think I’m not alone in holding a great curiosity.

I already have the game when it came out along with the season pass. I never thought I would say this but yeah, this update is meh. Maybe because it’s free because there aren’t enough players online? Because if that’s the excuse of making it free then that’s just sad.

I think the issue might be because many of us prefer to purchase discounted titles over older free games. If we don’t make our voices heard then Sony could just assume that their customer base in N.A. is a homogeneous bunch who just want free games. This is dangerous because they foul just do away with great discounts and focus pin freebies instead. This would be a disaster for a gamer like me who enjoys getting discounts on new titles. Gamers who want discounts are getting drowned out here. Just my two cents
@goldenratio: I’m with you on better discounts. 10%-20% off ins’t really much. Even 40% is kind of week. I’d love to see maybe something like 2 games a month go 75% off or something like that. Kind of how Steam does their daily sales. But since PSN store only updates once a week they could set it up like my example.
I actually quit buying games off of PSN because I was worried it’d come to Plus for free. It’s really the only way I can make sure I have better chances of not getting a game from Plus I already have.
I think I can fairly say that I speak for the majority when I say we would like 2 VITA games/month and if you have to reduce the number of PS3 games given away per month, then we are OK with that.
Great job, been loving PS+ since I joined. Its only going to get better from here.

And I thought the worst plus months were the last 2 from 2012. Boy was I wrong. But people need to realize that they only give us really old good games or really bad newer games. Or games with really poor sales that have lots of dlcs like this MOBA thing.
And the only answer we get is “Next month willl be better”. I still have about 6 months of plus remaining. And I see no reason to renew it. If the quality of the next updates mantain this low I won’t even bother downloading these “play once delete” games they keep giving.

@grbolivar – its not 60 bucks its 39.99 bucks in store. During boxing day it was 19 bucks in walmart. Dang I missed out on that sale!

I would become a PS PLUS member if they gave away better games like they do in europe

Kind of how Steam does their daily sales. But since PSN store only updates once a week they could set it up like my example.
I actually quit buying games off of PSN because I was worried it’d come to Plus for free. It’s really the only way I can make sure I have better chances of not getting a game from Plus I already have.
I tried the deimo for Gome it wasn’t for me,I appreciate the discounts,getting knytt underground,look forward to the next update

I think I can fairly say that I speak for the majority when I say we would like 2 VITA games/month and if you have to reduce the number of PS3 games given away per month, then we are OK with that.
Great job, been loving PS+ since I joined. Its only going to get better from here.

Since we PAY for PLUS so far we have gotten NOTHING FREE.

And I thought the worst plus months were the last 2 from 2012. Boy was I wrong. But people need to realize that they only give us really old good games or really bad newer games. Or games with really poor sales that have lots of dlcs like this MOBA thing.
And the only answer we get is “Next month willl be better”. I still have about 6 months of plus remaining. And I see no reason to renew it. If the quality of the next updates mantain this low I won’t even bother downloading these “play once delete” games they keep giving.
Terrible update, bad game and no good sales.
