I agree, PS+ is not a bad service or an idea. But I dont agree with the publisher allowing it to publish in one region and not in another (might be true) but until any of the sony employee say that, I fail to agree with that point. I mean when EU can give away Crysis 2 and batman AC US came up with RE5 and Bioshock 2. Next month they are giving away sleeping dogs, let’s see whether US can cope up with them. I am not saying PS+ is not its money’s worth but as a US plus cusstomer, I am not anyway less important to EU plus customer and I want the same kinda treatment, that’s all I ask for. For the last 5-6 months only JAN have been better for US plus than EU.

Dead Space 2?? Anyone. That would be nice to have that just in time to play for the upcoming Dead space 3. I hope that’s the case. They put borderlands right before borderlands 2 came out. If its not dead space I dont think ill be renewing my plus this month.
I know no one will see this but I just have something to say to all of the people freaking out because there is o PS3 game this week:
There was never a time, (and I know because I have been a PS Plus subscriber since day 1 with uninterrupted service) where subscribers got a free PS3 game every week of the month. Before Plus was extended to Vita, Plus members got 1 or 2 PS3 games a month. period. The other 2 weeks we would get nothing but themes and avatars. Instead of those we now get Vita games on those weeks.
You were never promised a free PS3 game every week, and it has never happened before since the start of PS Plus. Where are these outrageous expectations and sense of entitlement coming from. Grow up, have some patience, and await your next free PS3 game that you will get next week. And start preparing your complaints because it won’t be what you wanted.
Do the updates usually come at a certain time of the day? its 12 24 Am in toronto and I havent got the updates yet.

I understand the complaints about games we may want being given to EU+ and not US+, but what I don’t understand, is how this might be relevant to the value we’re getting here out of US+?
I mean, sure, it’s frustrating to see the likes of Sleeping Dogs being given to EU+, while we’re not getting it (well, not announced so far anyway). But still, how does not getting the same games affects the value of what I got so far? That’s what I don’t get. Maybe I’m slower to react than others (lol!), but to go out and call Sony names (not really but sometimes it feels like that around here lol!) about PS+ not being worth it because others get stuff we would prefer, is kind of puzzling me a little bit.
I’m the first to say that sometimes, Sony doesn’t seems to care about attracting new PS+ subscribers. Foosball 2012, really???? But looking at the overall picture, I don’t get how people can say it’s a bad service.
I got all current-gen consoles and a gaming PC, and trust me, PS+ adds TREMENDOUS value to the PS ecosystem, compared to what the competition is offering (nothing, really).
@RaguelSorednal – Are u a plus member right now? Why Dead space 2 seems good yeah but Sleeping Dogs is the icing on the cake now.

@sab_krit – I was yesterday but havent renewed my plus yet, and I dont plan on renewing unless the contents good, moneys super tight and unless the deals is extra good then i dont go for it. Sleeping dogs would be nice but I believe it is highly unlikely we receive that next month, and I wouldnt mind dead space 2 at all.

This is exactly what I was afraid of. You guys release stuff for Vita instead of the PS3 because Vita has Plus now. You need to release better games I’m thinking cause I’m sorry but Foosball is barely a game. I don’t have a Vita cause I grew out of handheld games in about 6th grade. My attention span is long enough that I don’t have to be playing video games everywhere I go.

You have a good point, however Sleeping Dogs is a Budget title in EU now, it goes for less than 20 euros. Their games drop in price much faster than they do in the US. Your theory of PS+ getting budget titles seems spot on, just that they get newer titles as they drop faster.

You are right PS+ as a service is good no doubt abt that. But what I am saying is, comparing to EU for the same service maybe 10$ extra the value of the service is not the same. For me its not the number of games we get that matters but the quality. During december Batman AC on stores it was worth 39.99, maybe 50 out of hundred ppl have bought it and other 50 is waiting for the price to come down, whereas Bioshock 2 was 10 bucks, anyone can afford it if they want to play it. So, which adds value for their service at that point, Batman AC or Bioshock 2. I am not saying give me the same game, try to give me a game which of the same value.

Did you purchase either version already. I purchased the Vita version and when I went to purchase the PS3 version I received the same error. I went into my download list and the PS3 version was listed there as purchased. AS cross buy you buy one version the other version is added to your download list.

You posted that you don’t have an issue with the quantity, but have an issue with the quality right? My original statement was that people really have no right to complain about the quantity this month because we got exactly the same amount we get every month. They DO have a right to complain about the quality because that is something we’ve seen a discrepancy in. Then you came in and got on my case even though you have been saying pretty much the same exact thing.

Nothing I’m interested in, again but such has been the theme for me with Plus lately. I’m happy for Vita owners though but this month has been pretty weak. I mean Foosball 2012, riveting stuff. Also how come the EU gets discounts on Plus and we never seem to get anything at least for as long as I’ve had a PS3. I hope next month we get some good content as lately I’m thinking about not renewing, definitely not recommending it to others
Great! It so cheap man, I can`t believe people refusing paying this amount for such great games every month. Keep making avaliable great games for Vita users. The console is great, but we need more game to use it on the its total capacity!

I’m simply saying that if you are going to complain about something then at least make it towards something that actually makes sense. Getting mad that we didn’t get a free PS3 game on a week we never get a free PS3 game is like complaining that you didn’t get 2 paychecks for 1 week of work.
Not that anyone was commenting on my statements, but I want to make perfectly clear that I wasn’t complaining about the free PS3 games being offered per se. I was, however complaining about the quality of games being offered lately. And as far as others’ comments about people complaining for no reason, the only reason I can see people complaining about PS+ is the fact that we shell out between $18 and $50 for exclusive offers, freebies (or lack there of), and early access to betas and demos/full game trials and the quality (and sometimes quantity) of content can and have come into question. The service is and should not be under fire here. Nor should the regions. I think if we as a community can pull together and stop bickering and trolling with ourselves long enough to, again as a community, on a different part of the blog, constructively come up with a valid solution that we,Sony, and the game devs can all agree with, we can get some real results. I’m sure Sony is all for fresh new ideas and ways to make their services even better. Am I right??

Well, to put it simply; It IS stupid to assume they’d get a free game on a week that they never do. I’m not even trying to be a jerk by saying that. Even before Vita was a part of Plus their was always 1 week at the end of the month that had no free game at all and just had a few sales, but suddenly people blame the Vita plus for being the cause of it even though it was always like that.
@sab_krit, I agree that there should be no reason for name calling as this is called being immature and childish. To the right of where I’m typing it says, “OPEN TO EVERYONE, BUT DON’T BE A JERK.” Calling other posters names and talking down to them is NOT constructive, nor is it helpful.
I have always thought giving PS+ members a small list of titles to vote on for each update would be great!

You know I know I will never get a direct answer from Morgan or anyone since they always seem to dodge almost every question. How come is that Europe has been on quite a roll lately? They had great games for Plus like Red Dead Redemption, Arkham City, Bulletstorm, Deus Ex just to name a few? Hell EU even got RE5 and Darksiders way before us. Their next update is going to have Sleeping Dogs and F! Race Stars and what did we get Foosball and Ninja Gaiden on the Vita. For a few months after E3 you guys were on a roll with the game collection and it seems you guys have been hitting some snags. I would say check out the feedback but I do not think you guys read it. Do not get me wrong I have always supported Sony and everyone makes mistakes, but it would be nice if different regions would seem better than others. It would be nice if there were some sort of equal ground. Just a suggestion.

In future PSN updates, would it be possible to not only get a date, (Tuesday the 28th of January 2013) but also the time (PST, EST, and so on…) when updates will actually be implemented? It’s a little unnerving when, for example you’re looking for Ninja Gaiden Sigma for the wonderful PS Vita, upon the date and yet it hasn’t actually been made available. Thanks! Go Vita 2013! Cheers!
