While we definitely want you to let us know your thoughts in the comments below, make sure you’re digging in to the PlayStation Community Forums in the Plus space where you’ll find great new information and perspectives from your fellow gamer. Enjoy the update, and see you in the comments.
looking forward to rayman on ps3 :D and maybe crazy taxi… still hoping for some NBA avatars!
I told you I’m not interested and your assertion that my words aren’t my own just proves my point further. You’re still abusing logical fallacies.
@EvolvedMessiah
I know right.
@PrimeroIncognito
I wouldn’t buy anything at full price if I knew two weeks later it was going to be on sale or free. That is why I opt for monthly updates, so I would know in advance to make a wise purchase decision. I’m looking to save money, the rip off I feel, is I could possibly know this info, if playstation allowed us with a monthly update. Instead with weekly updates, it allows them to capitalize and make more money.
I do see your point as well….
But I’ll no longer purchase a thing @ the store unless, monthly updates are implemented.
So let me ask you something Morgan Haro. Are you guys getting these choices from The Land of Lost and Forgotten Games? Another bust for me this week, that makes 8 + weeks now.
Another great week for sales. If people want to get games for a certain price and be a game they want, get Gamefly. Playstation Plus is more than just “free” games per month. It’s about discounts as well, betas, themes, and other cool little things. I have had Plus for two solid years, and with each year on gametime or sales alone, I’ve felt like I’ve gotten my money’s worth in just a month or two. For those music fans who own a Vita and Plus the Sony Music Unlimited sale price is a steal. There have been other great sales prices in other situations. I honestly couldn’t think of any other company who has a better loyalty program paid or not. I’ve had to let my Plus run out due to some financial issues that have sprung up. But my world hasn’t ended due the 100’s of games that have become inactive to me. I still have plenty of great content that I got on sale or bought full price to keep me entertained.
Part 1
So yes Sony, you’re doing EXCELLENT work with Playstation Plus. It’s the #1 thing I recommend to all new PS3 ,and now Vita, owners and they have been enjoying it as well.
The only request I would make, and not a demand as other people have done is, now that you have added music, how about adding movies sales on newer films like maybe $1 rentals (SD) $1.50(HD) just to combat Redbox and give a nice high quality alternative to those who use piracy? As a person who prefers physical to digital for favorite movies, how about adding more special features to the psn store? Not necessarily as a Plus thing though.
Part 2
@Morgan: Thanks for the quick reply. Would it be possible to create a poll that lets us select possible genres to choose from for future plus releases? It might be interesting to see those results and I am pretty sure that RPG would not be at the bottom… Thanks for the consideration!
That’s a great, I’ll have to do that in the near future. Remind me if you don’t see it happen in the next month or so.
