Rochard is a wonderful game. Funny, smart, challenging, nice to look at. Give it a chance.
As far as RPGs go, I wouldn’t mind seeing the Persona series especially 4 as a freebie (and Golden for PSV) or maybe the Disgaea series? But of course, as soon as I write this there’ll be those out there that absolutely hate the idea or already own it.
I love watching people complain week after week. It might be more entertaining than anything else. The people in charge are just doing there best. Plus, free games are better than no games. I’m alright with all of the updates. I really don’t understand why people complain. Do they complain because of the game’s quality or because they didn’t get what they want.
Also, I’m not liking how people compare here to Europe. US and Europe are two different place. As someone mentioned earlier, they pay more in Europe. Plus, the games they bring here are games that some people might not already have, right?
I admit, it is tiring to get Street Fighter when they gave King of Fighters in…. was it October???
Anyway, complaining isn’t necessary. The people are just trying to do their jobs. We’re lucky that they gave away to full games this month. In fact, we’re lucky they’re listening to any of our suggestion. Kudos to the Playstation people!
there is 2 thing I would like to say
1. Why we in US cant have something like the 12 deals of chrismas? I would have totally bought sleeping dogs and some of the other stuff, seems a great deal. and also theyre getting better games lately in my opinion

FANTASTIC! I’m SO glad that I didn’t bite on Capcom’s initial offering of SUPER Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition having bought the standard version of SUPER earlier that year. Here’s crossing my finger that they offer up Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 Ultimate in the future!

Please add an Update section to the PS Store for the PS Vita… It would make it far easier to know which games may need patches and allow us to download them much like the App Store. Moreover, it would be great if we had the choice to download HD movies considering how the PS Vita is capable of playing 720p and 1080p video.
where are Motorstorm Apocalypse, Resistance 3 or Batman? stop with the Bruce Lee wanna be games already, oh well you know what would be nice if i can get into killzone Mercenary beta because of ps plus, that would be something!!! or how about Soul Sacrifice or Tearaway demos? @401: i love too jrpg’s but i doubt they will put a retail ps3/psv jrpg, maybe a ps1-2 classic for one of the psn titles, i have no problem ps plus but i would like more variety in the igc, and this is migth be a good way to get to the small jrpg niche.

Lovin the hell out of PS+….Soon as Im done with Bioshock 2 Im moving on over to SF….My Vita is also almost done with Uncharted and then its onto Gravity Rush…BTW, Wipeout for the Vita is soooooooooooooooooo badass…..Keep em coming sony.

@Morgan I see that many people are upset with this months free games, but I honestly think this selection is pretty good. These aren’t the best games ever, by any means, but these are still great games. The only reason that this selection seems disappointing is because it pales in comparison to the freebies that Europe gets. I don’t really know why they have such a vastly different list of games, but I’m more than happy with the games I’ve gotten already.
I’ve never been a fighting game fan, but when Virtual Fighter was free for PS+, I enjoyed it so much that I got every trophy it had. So, I’m very excited to get my hands on one of the greatest fighting games of all time, Street Fighter IV, for free. As for Rochard though, I’m sure it’ll be fun, but the 2D side scrollers have never really been my thing. I played a good bit of Outland and Bloodrayne & it just never clicked for me. I’m sure it’ll be a good game though.
@Morgan And, to be honest, I’m kinda glad we aren’t getting the same games that EU is. I bought Red Dead Redemption the week it was first released. And I just bought the GOTY edition of Arkham City (and I got it for a steal too; $25 at Target on Black Friday!). Sure, I haven’t played some of those games, but the more they age, the better that chances of them finally coming to PS+.
I’m sorry that a lot of people on the internet lack maturity, Morgan. Since I turn 18 tomorrow, I’ll be the adult here. :D Hope reading a comment like this makes reading all those mean ones worth it.
@401 True. I wouldn’t mind seeing the PS1-2 classics either on the PS3. There are a lot of good ones to choose from.
I think another good retail title on the Vita can only help with its sales for Christmas. Its initial IGC was what got me to buy one.

PlayStation Plus is a waste of money.
To, Morgan Haron, and the rest of the team… First of all great job with running this blog and the willingness to respond to deserving posts. It is kind of a double edged sword but I like the weekly announcement better than the monthly announcement because I can look forward to every Monday rather than once a month. This blog has become my fav blog ever and that would be eliminated by monthly announcements.
How about a weekly or bi-weekly poll/survey asking which genre, bonus type (AAA free/PSN free/Discounts/DLC/PlayStation classics) people are most in the mood for next week/month. That could counter the negativity because when ppl are like “WTF!!!” “EU this” “Im so PISSED im going to grab my PS3 and jump of a bridge bear hugging it to death” you can simply point to the previous poll and say, “this is what you guys wanted!”
The only hurdle is to get all PS+ members to participate in the poll. My best advice would be to somehow set it up via the PS+ section of the store. Or perhaps just try to get the word out about the blog and the poll.
Lets get one thing straight morgan. no one really wants eu is getting, they just want to dam complain every dam week . I take alot these complaints with grain of salt. allthe games are old , they just a name to another becuase of name.. its the same comapring nike to reebok. wah , wah wah. some get a dam tissue for noses of these cry baby gamers.

I don’t think im going to keep plus until you start giving something that’s worth it. In all your still much better than xbox and I like the features of plus but I don’t understand why eu is getting all the games right now its really like a smack in the face. I feed one of my dogs dry crappy dog food and the other gets steak.

Also, you need to have a complete PlayStation Store (PS3, PSP, PSVita) for PC/Mac/Linux, like on Media Go and a web site.That NEEDS to happen, there’s been so many times I didn’t download content and this continues to happen to this day because I don’t have access to PlayStation Store on my computer. And it needs to have the feature to be able to download them from your computer and the content waits for you on your console. You guys are way behind in a lot of things.
First, I love all the idiots who act like Morgan picks the games that go on Plus. You guys are funny. You are killing the messenger. It’s not his fault that you are too cheap/poor to buy games.
Second, I said it last week and I will say it again this week. The instant game collection has ruined Plus. It was so much better before. Now Plus is for people who are too cheap/poor to buy games when they come out and rely on Plus for their collection. So keep crying about EU getting games that over a year old or even older in some cases. If you haven’t played them yet then you suck anyways.
I will always be a Plus member for Cloud Storage and Automatic Updates but the games are pretty much worthless now.
More new PSN games, more PSOne Classics, and more discounts on new PSN releases please. I am glad more people are bringing this up in the comments now instead of the same whining about EU every week.

If eu gets an old batman who the heck cares. its an old game same rest of the game they have on the list.. Why sit here and belittle what we get? . we had already 99% of that list they have on a discount to the usa gamers.. We Just because you want a game free ?? What is that.. @ossiecastro5 also like others said its technically not free games, more of a rental service, a rental service that chooses for you and has discounts on other stuff, also Morgan stated in a comment getting feedback back to the team is a slow process so i guess meaning OUR COMPLAINTS do count for something, as compared to EU, also heard they dont pay that much more than NA, i haven’t researched it myself but if true then its not exactly fair that they get 8+ retail games exclusively in the year. So it is a valid point. also doesn’t really seem they’re listening, I’ve been seeing the same posts sense I been on the blog in October, 2 months and nothing really has been done, how slow is the process if the majority haven’t been swayed in months? numerous people saying they won’t renew, i bet they will look at the month with the most expirations and bring out the semi big guns to have people renew for another year of different titles of the same genre

@thejackhammer89 not necessarily a few have stated that they have a EU account too and they have plus on it and others said they want to switch or going to soon so who knows how many NA has a EU+ account and vice versa

I had a bad feeling yesterday when I followed the link to YouTube to see the trailer for Big Sky: Infinity referring only to EU plus. Lots of confusion could have been avoided. Just a suggestion? Having done several jobs in web design, I would have gotten hosed by my client if I posted something like that without a disclaimer/video edit. You may not have the ability to make this game free for NA plus subscribers anytime soon, but it would be nice if there could be a discount offered in the future as a gesture for the mistake. some people may not say this but I will. If you paid $50 for ps+ and your not satisfied with the content that has been released so far, just let your subscription expire and move on. POINT BLANK. There is no other service anywhere that gives you the value of PS+, NONE. Here is what your next move should be,
(1) Create a EU PSN account and new user name.
(2) SUBSCRIBE to EU PS+
(3) Download and play all of your new EU PS+ games.

jeez people, I never thought I would hear people complain about free games. $49.99 a year you get 45 free games. that is about a dollar a game. Most people won’t own half that amount of games throughout the entire time they own that console. I own both SSF4 AE and bioshock 2, so neither of the past two updates have provided me anything to download, but I have been playing games that I have downloaded in previous months. I think I am getting one hell of a deal with PS plus.

Jack_Sparrow said it very well in post #382. I certainly didn’t want another fighting game from PS+. But at the very least at least this is a good fighting game and one I didn’t own.
I realize that complaining as well as complaining about complainers is inevitable — but I’d like to point out that constructive criticism can be very useful. Of course we can all do without the people that are too blind to see how great PS+ is. It’s pretty clear who the truly blind people are, and there’s no hope for them. But when I say that I didn’t need another fighting game so soon from PS+ and that I consider it a pretty niche genre that has recently been well represented — that’s basically just me casting my single virtual “vote” for the type of games I’d like to see on plus and nothing more.

@DonkeyKongKilla I think what means h2omasnah means is that if someone doesn’t have access to their PS3 (like going somewhere for the upcoming holiday season, they should be able to access and “buy” content from the PS store. That way when they get back, they can check their download list and download the games from there. I can see this being especially handy for limited time offers like sales and free games and such.
@BlueBl1zzard ah see that makes sense, one guy has plus and was moving cross country on a post few months ago and wouldn’t be able to access Plus for months, Thanks for clearing it up. Someone should put it in ideas so Sony will get around to it in a few years =) haha
Morgan I will be honest ps plus is great but a lot of fighting games seems to be a bit much all at once. I would just like more variety from my plus account. Keep up the hard work.
P.S. – can we get any response on the Alice: Madness Returns ultimate bundle dlc. I want to get started on that but I am stuck in Limbo waiting to find out what is happening with that.

still not pleased with ps+ overall, and you’re damn right i’m going to mention it. if i do not, it’s not going to be known. some of us have very little money in life due to disabilities so gaming is very precious, and the money used to get games must be spent wisely.
as of this point, i see no good reason to spend the 20/50 bucks to renew my ps+. i like having the online backup and the occasional deal, but i’m never buying any AAA titles on release date because it takes a while to save up 60+ dollars, and its easier to buy lesser games in between, or pay for the + service.
i think if you had have cycled infamous2 lbp2 out of the queue things might have gone nicer, but it seems you leave these games up as heavy hitters, but i got ps+ service on my birthday in june and i have no interest in lbp2 whatsoever and as mentioned in the last thread on bioshock, infamous provided a couple months of labor simply because i was hoping for something better.
i even took advantage of the music unlimited for 12 dollars because i thought my friend might like it, but he still prefers to use youtube as it’s easier to find obscure stuff, so even that is a bust on my end. so. it looks like i’m going to be going to look for a triple A title for my next buy, as i’ve had my ps3 for a year now and not had one aside from batman AC when i bought it. and thats not online.
so this is my rant.
keep up the good work morgan, i am hoping that i see something RPG that has some MEAT in it for the + service soon so i can rejoin as i do enjoy the other perks like online save storage and automatic updates.
a further note, this is not FREE games as people keep seeming to suggest.
is netflix free movies??? certainly not. it’s a rental service. i do have a right to voice my opinion on the rental service if i’m being asked to fork over money in advance, yes i do. and i am willing to buy this rental service if it’s going to be providing me something worth renting. old ass games and repeated genres with no real meat to them like fighters just do not appeal to me in the slightest. (sorry, i like character progression and story lines and equipment and all that jazz)
