November 2012 PSN Top Sellers: The Walking Dead Goes Out With A Bang

Welcome to this month’s PSN Top Sellers, where we look at what digital content sold most in the past month.

This November saw the release of the fifth and final episode of The Walking Dead — No Time Left. If you’ve been following these posts, it should come as no surprise that it took the top spot for November, sending off the first season of the Walking Dead game in fine style. Huge congrats go to the entire team at Telltale Games for releasing one of the finest gaming experiences of the year! (Notice how all five episodes are represented on the list, wow!)

While the sensational story-telling in The Walking Dead dominated the charts, you’ll also find strong debuts from hits like Assassin’s Creed III, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, and Okami HD. We also see great performances from Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified, Persona 4 Golden, and Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation.

Take a look at the full lists and let us know your thoughts and predictions in the comments!

  • @ TomBradysTheGOAT First time seeing your name in someone else’s comment too lol
    Anyway welcome to the blog

  • yup, first times for everything

and thanks for the mat. ill wipe my feet elsewhere ; )

  • Anybody hear of any rumors of a discount on PS+ subscriptions? My membership runs out in 7 days, and I heard a rumor from someone that there would be a discount on a years subscription in December. But I am not too sure on just how true that rumor is…

  • @ 1

    Don’t sell it short,

The game came out ten days before November ended, therefore it only had ten days in a month to become the 5th and 6th best selling digital release on PS3 and Vita respectively. I’d say that’s not too shabby for a new IP that people like to write off as a Smash Clone.

    Great game, by the way.

  • I’m so proud that I have contributed for the third place of Persona 4 Golden. Although it has not been a first place as Perona fan expected, I feel great to see this game is popular and many users love it.

  • Why isnt the angry birds mini available for ps vita?

  • My 2 most desired games at the moment are All Stars and ME:Trilogy. Those two would make my holiday. I do wish remote play was fully enabled on Vita so my upcoming hospitalization could be a little better, but for now my vita collection (thanks, Ps+) will still rock my socks.

  • Very happy for The Walking Dead and Persona 4… too really great titles that perhaps aren’t as heavy advertised.

  • Yea sometimes I wonder about these companies. The need to realize that the more they advertise the more money they will get.I really love ps allstars but was a bit disappointed in the lack of commercials on tv.Atleast they thought of the whole robot chicken advertisement but that coulda came a week before the game came out.Remote-play & cross-controller compatibility should be a standard for anyone working on games for ps3 because they are much wanted and needed features that when implemented right, work wonders for the VIta.Why hasnt every hd collection been enabled with 3d & or remote-play etc.Lastly, where the heck is the little big planet 2 cross controller patch?

  • Glad to see All Stars that low. It was a lazily developed game. i regret buying it at full price.

  • I would love to see a game like Mark of the Ninja (Xbox Live) on the Vita with the same crisp graphics/art style :). That game looks so cool but I never download anything on my 360. PSN is awesome!

  • Could not fine a place to leave feedback for North America Customer Service. I forget who I talked to but if you have records let him know he did a great job. He helped me get the ps+ resubscribed since it failed to auto renew (not sure why) and had plenty of patience as I followed his instructions to repurchase it. I did not lose any downloaded content (which I was worried about). Thanks again for an awesome system and some great customer service.

  • @ 54 JimmyNEUTRON413 – Didn’t knew about that but I’m hoping for it too…my subscription runs out day 17 of january and I’m about to renew….but now that you mentioned that…guess I’ll wait too.

@ 62 KingOfThieves – Man you’re damn right…I think they should put shank 1 and 2 on Vita too…would be extremely awesome to play on Vita.

  • I’m glad to see that Persona 3 FES and Persona 3 Portable still doing well. I would love to try Persona 4 Golden because there is so much extra content that wasn’t presented in Persona 4. It would be nice to see Persona 4 in the PSN store just for people who can’t find a disc copy of the game.

  • Happy to see Psychonauts selling well. Just wish the PSN version didn’t have that audio desync…

  • wow,the walking dead still very hot. by the way, Mr. Morgan Haro, there are many apps on XBOX this year, like NBA play time & VEVO,(>_< )can we also use them @ PS3? if i said something wrong, i apologize for it, sir.but i really want to use them on PS3 m(_ _)m

  • sorry i fogget to say Thank You for the Crackle ,Neon Alley and other apps on PS3.My mom teach me when suggest to others be with a grateful heart all the time. sorry for my pool English and waste a message on Blog.

  • When we see the Gran Turismo PSP on Vita Store ?

  • @69 (dohoho)
Anyways, you can transfer the Gran Turismo PSP game from a PS3 to your Vita. CheapAssGamer has a compiled list of other compatible games that you can (and can’t) copy over.
