Awesome update!
Jetpack Joyride cannot be downloaded to PS Vita. I bought it through PS3, but Vita says it cannot download the file from downloads list.
Help!
Great Update !!!
Thanks guys
I bought PSASBR for Vita at midnight to support the devs, and I’ve barely had a chance to play it. I had to purchase a $20 PSN card to cover the dollar or so I needed and now I find out that it’s been discounted within 24 hours??? Is there anyway I could get my $4 back? I’ll gladly spend it on something else on the store. This is just a but frustrating, is all.
So when will The Walking Dead Episodes 3-5 be released for PS Plus members? I have 2 accounts with Plus on them, I downloaded the free content on both, attempted to pay for #3 on one of them, and didn’t work. It was really depressing. I called and they told me to purchase the Season Pass. That isn’t really fair.
I seem to be having a problem and I’m hoping someone can help me out.
I’m trying to scoop up the Sonic Bundle for free in the Playstation Store, but it says that I can’t download it because I already have Sonic 2 on my system (which I downloaded during my free month of PS+ last year). Is there any kind of workaround for this, as I would love to pick up the first Sonic as well, or am I completely locked out from the option just because I already have one of the games?
@236: Dood, only FIRST PARTY games are meant to always have 10%.
With third party releases, it’s a toss up and up to the publisher. Some do it. Some don’t.
It’s a good thing you guys make these web-based text updates so we can see what came out every week. The new Playstation store is such an ungodly disorganized mess that I’d never be able to see what new games actually came out. For some reason they put pages and pages and pages of avatars on the new games page and finding actual games on it is impossible. So thanks for putting these posts out so we can actually see what releases each week.
Also, someone PLEASE fix the Store so it’s usable again!
I’m starting to think that these “store update” articles are getting to crowded/cluttered
I would like to see a sale on DLC. I want to get the CoD World at War map pack bundle for the three zombies maps, but 24.99 is just too expensive.
Also, would like to know the difference between the Doom Classic Complete and the ones in Doom 3 BFG Edition.
Lovely store update guys.
Plus in vita is great with this.
Thanks for make it all real and keep on this free stuff with many more games in future please
LONG LIVE PLAY!
downloading playstation all stars now :) awesome deal i’ll spend 60$ or more this week
I try to download Sonic Bundle: Sonic 1 & Sonic 2, but show me that is unavalible because I already have Sonic 2.
So I can´t get Sonic 1 for free?
That DMC demo is pretty damn good. Can’t wait for January 15th. But, why is Kingdoms of Amalur still $60? That’s been out for almost a year now.
Great job, Sony! Now go put together a media blitz for Vita (TV commercial, viral video, email/web ads) with the tagline, “This holiday season, there’s nothing sweeta than a PS Vita !” Get wit Beyonce and set something to Sweet Dreams or do a dubstep of Sweet Dreams by the Eurythmics.
Ima go buy me some stock. Make me proud!!
@ Grace:
Hi there! Sorry for dropping by like this. I’m a European (Italian, to be specific) PS user. I’m posting this comment in order to beg for help.
I’ve bought a PSP back in 2008 with my main interest in the console being the possibility to play PS1 games anywhere. However, out of the PSOne Classics I already owned in their original format (and wanted to be portable), a very-late Crash Bandicoot 2 was the final addition to the Crash trilogy and that was it.
Now that it’s almost 2013, I’m willing to settle with the original Spyro trilogy, which Jawad Ashraf of the European blog claims will become available as “PsOne imports” (US versions) because technical issues ultimately prevented the European versions to work. Okay, but now it seems the planned October release of said trilogy has been further pushed back due to the very same QA issues (weird considering it’s the same content that’s been already available on the US store for two years now).
That said, my question is: can you guys at SCEA help the European store with its rather lacking selection of PSOne Classics?
Thanks in advance for reading and (maybe) answering. If you don’t, it’s cool, but I’ll probably re-post this next week.
I can’t find Jetpack Joyride on Vita.
If you don’t have a vita go to buy it right now!!
An amazing update.
I *REALLY* appreciate this new blog layout for the store update info. The new PSN store itself makes me dizzy, however. I wish it was more cleanly and neatly organized like this blog post.
Will Trine 2 be on sale indefinitely or just for the week?
I feel cheated! the doom classic collection offers way more than the doom 3 bfg edition! I bought the DOOM 3 bfg edition on PSN and I wanna get the master levels and final doom too !
I know that it is up to the publisher………
but, could you check with them to see if is there any chance we can get the Magic the Gathering series released on the Vita?
im having trouble with PlayStation all stars Pre-order costumes !! .. where can i find them / download them ?
disgusting store
Grace Chen, can we get some feedback on the trouble some of us are having with connecting to PSN and using any internet capabilities on the Vita… some of us are having serious problems. I can’t connect PSN or access the PS Store, my browser is terribly slow, and the Youtube app is not letting me watch anythign on my Vita anymore…
Can we get a response to what has happened here? I am a PS fan from the beginning, but my passion for Vita and Playstation has really been hurt after this… I love my Vita, and now I can’t use it for anything for going on two days now. This is really unfair, and now I have a $250 dollar internet device that can’t use any internet functions with Sony’s name on it.
I wanted to spend money on your Store. I was excited to buy PS Plus the day FW 2.0 came out through my Vita. Now I can’t because your FW 2.0 has bricked all the wireless functions of my Vita so that is it basically useless as a wireless device and internet media player.
What is your response to these problems? Why are they happening in 2012? Thank you.
Please see more complaints here: http://community.us.playstation.com/t5/PlayStation-Vita-Support/Error-NW-5603-4-PSN-error-after-update-to-2-0/m-p/38862157
Some great news for PS Vita owners! Firmware 2.0 improves/adds many things! One thing it improved was web browser. It works very quickly now AND it CAN be open while PLAYING A GAME!!!
I skimmed the comments and didn’t see this issue but I’m wondering if any one else is having an issue with jetset on vita where the game is constantly pause when you try to play
@ h2omasnah
I agree totaly. thats why i do not buy micro trans games on my phone. and i know they are modeling these DLC packs and costumes after that micro trans structure. if this keeps up i will never buy a newly marketed game again. i will play my GOG i own now. old school rules. thats why i collect PC games, they will play forever.
and sony i liked the old store. stop trying to be like others and just be sony. the store looks alot like XboX360 store.
w/#200 Getting it on Sonic bundle, which i don’t care cuz you gave the games a while back, but the Plus Add on content for DD is also not downloading.
I am a Plus Subscriber and last night I purchased the discounted 1 year subscription to Music Unlimited and it works fine on my Vita. However when I went to download the APP for the PS3 it told me I couldn’t download it because I had already bought it. It will only let me download my VITA app which does not work on the PS3.
This is a known issue dating back several months. Is there a workaround?
Help!!!!
Hi Grace, I was wondering when we can claim the Pre-Order additional costumes for PSASBR? I Pre-ordered the digital PS3 version because I saw on your Blog that the Pre-Order costumes will be available for digital as well.
The store won’t let me download the Sonic bundle because I already own Sonic 2. I don’t own Sonic 1 so is there any way to get around this?
I can’t find the Online Pass for PlayStation All-Stars on the store. My brother used code that came with the disc and I want t play online too! Help, please!
**** The UK PSN store is not letting anyone download the Pre-order bonus costumes for Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale.
Can you guys please tell your friends in the EU store to take a look?
This is the sole reason I pre-ordered the game on PSN, and now it won’t let me download the PS3 alternate costumes. It gives me the vita costumes which is ever so helpful because I don’t own a Vita.
@Grace Chen
Hi Grace,
Could you, or could you pass this along to the appropriate person (or give me the email address to the correct person/dept)?
The “Spend $60 or More and get $10” For Details URL, http://www.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/store-credit, still displays the previous promotion (spend $100 or more get $20 back) and needs to be updated to reflect the current promotion. I checked last night and, again, just now.
I’d like to read the information (legal-ease, etc.) regarding the current “Spend $60 or more and Get $10” promotion.
Thanks in advance for all your help.

Is there any way we can get a glowing PS Store icon or a scrolling text banner up in that useless scrolling banner in the upper right corner of the XMB notifying us that the store has been updated? It’s really not cooling having to check every few minutes to see if it has, especiallly with this new store taking forever to load
Wow! What a great update to the PS Store! But I must say
-“F1 Race Stars ($39.99)”
I was a lil pissed! I figured around $29.99 since it’s available on the net for $28.00 Blue Ray copy!
Hmm Maybe it’s actually worth going (+PLUS)!
I guess if I only have 1 complaint for this week’s update, Playstation is good to go in my Book! Although I don’t agree with putting games in the “Full Game” Section for a week & making people suffer until it comes out for real & then charging more that it’s worth!
Your Loyal Gamer,
bills
This is a really nice update in my opinion. So much stuff and the DMC 5 demo. YES! YES! YES!
AM I THE ONLY PERSON HAVING TROUBLE FINDING JET PACK JOY RIDE ON THE PS MINI SECTION?? I WANT IT BUT CANT FIND IT..:/
I am without money to buy plus now, next month for these games ps vita, will still be free?
#265…LOOKS LIKE WE ARE ON THE SAME LOST BOAT ..:/
Will the Music Unlimited $12 price for PS Plus be available next week or is it limited to a week?
Nice Update…but why you can’t preview the new Themes in the Playstation Store anymore? I won’t buy regular Themes or Dynamic Themes if i cant see what it looks like before i buy it.
When will the ALL-STARS DLC be released !?!?
I got the playstation all stars battle royale today on gamestop and when i came home and put the disc in it doesnt let me get the vita version it just shows me a error code and the code is 80025A30
How do i get the costume DLC for Sony all stars???
I’m loving this update.
Now if only I could access it without this terrible new storefront.
It’s unbeileveably slow, it took away most of my favorite features, and it’s ugly, seriously, if I wanted a menu that tacky and poorly organized I’d go on Xbox live and get scammed for the oppertunity to do so. But of course since I’m not stupid, I own a PS3. And I wanna access my store in a way that makes sense. I miss reccommendations, not having to use the shopping cart, and a customizeable display. I also miss the store opening almost instantly instead of having to wait nearly 30 seconds just to see anything.
I hate to post like one of these whiney children, but something has to be done. I’m just not sure where else to voice my concerns about this.
Please either improve or revert the store, action needs to be taken on this.
As a proud owner of a PS Vita when it first came out and recently signed up for the PS Plus last month, I have to say that this is the best update Sony has done to the people of North America!! I am absolutely glad I have your products and I will continue to support your consoles with the PS 4 next year (hopefully)! Six free games for the Vita!!! YES!!
“Your comment is awaiting moderation.” Oy vay! How long does it take to read and reply to a clear and simple issue? I can’t wait and hope for the “moderation” of my comment nor the possibility of a reply.
I guess I’ll just wait and see if the promotional details page gets updated. If it doesn’t I won’t take advantage of the promotion.
I am, yet again, disappointed.

I’d like to echo the question about Guilty Gear. It’s been out on XBLA for ages (I played the demo in anticipation of the PSN release) and it’s also been out in Japan for several weeks, even though it came out after it did in NA there. It’s clearly ready for PSN and clearly translated, so I can only imagine the hold-up is on your end. If it is, we’d love some word on why. If not, then there’s nothing that can really be done about it, I guess. But a lot of us are left waiting and wondering. I refuse to take my money to Microsoft only because they charge me for online play, but were that not the case, you’d probably be losing your portion of that particular sale.
And I’d like to repeat the question that I asked before and several people have come behind me with: Is there an alternative to getting the Sonic games free if we own one of them and not the other? We can’t purchase the bundle. I swear this was never an issue with the old store, but I’ve been wrong before, I guess.
