The Drop: Week of October 29th 2012 New Releases

On PS3 this week, it’s a time of civil unrest and political upheaval in the Americas. As a Native American assassin fights to protect his land and his people, he will ignite the flames of a young nation’s revolution. Assassin’s Creed III takes you back to the American Revolutionary War, but not the one you’ve read about in history books. On PS Move, Sports Champions 2 revives favorite features, including the surprisingly deep and challenging single-player Cup Play and the customizable Free Play mode, plus fun arcade Challenge rounds for each event.

On PS Vita and PSN, you’re a cunning new assassin – Aveline, an assassin of mixed French and African heritage. You must use your skill, instinct and weaponry – including a machete, poison-dart blowpipe, and duelling pistols, to hunt down and eliminate your enemies in Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation.

Also on PS Vita, Need for Speed: Most Wanted is the 19th release in the long-running Need for Speed franchise, and the first for the PlayStation Vita. It hearkens back to the earliest games in the series as players compete in races with police unified against them. Enjoy this week’s The Drop.

  • Hey guys since I’m really looking forward to launching vita plus just hope they give us something worthwhile. Furthermore I would like to continue with the promotions of day 1, but they need really work, because there wasnt a big discount in the previous promos.

Also there vita and ps3 games in stores are cheaper than in the psn store please be fair …. I try by all means to get original games in physical or digital, but it’s very difficult because they are very expensive in the psn store.

What happened to the PS2 games like MK Deadly Alliance and MK Armaggedon, Valkyrie Profile. . . among some others.

I want up games like The Darkness or Folklore or Heavenly Sword. . . I also want games to my children play as Madagascar or Ice Age in the PSN Store, please us a lot of content and for all. I’m still waiting for Start the Party or TV superstars in the psn store.

Heed our requests, as it is very difficult to believe if you don´t read us.

  • Looking forward to this week i’ll be picking up Assassin’s Creed 3 along with the AC:Liberation Vita bundle & maybe need for speed for the vita.

  • @37TheUnbornNobodyX
Probably because Sony knows how much negative feedback the game is going to receive after people finding how poor it actually is. See for yourself (footage of the Japanese version, released on the 25th):
It’s a bad joke that Konami actually wants to release it to the public.

  • why you take the flash player off the ps3 browser i knew nothing comes good from your updates you upgrade and degrade the ps3 at the same time smh now i cant watch naruto online or anything else fix that seriously!!

  • Please release Street Fighter games on PS and PS2 classic.

  • When will you reveal the Strategy Card Game multiplayer for AC:Liberation?

  • Now I’m confused ill assassin or nfs will be the first to play this week…
On the note, still playing zero escape virtue last Reward, really hooked to the game

  • Are all AC3 copies for the PS3 going to have the 4 exclusive missions, or just the special edition ones?

  • I have my AC3 Liberation Vita bundle preordered! Surprisingly, this will be my first Asssassins Creed game. But I also hadn’t played much Resident Evil before the 3ds one, so I guess it works out. Anyways, so excited!
