  • Actually not a bad update for a change, thanks! I loved Sonic Adventure 2, can’t wait to pick it up once I get paid. Does anyone know if it is widescreen-supported or is it like the original and still a ‘square’ with borders on the left and right?

  • Please give us the game we really want for Plus user’s, Red Dead Redemption !!!!!! Not cool Europe got this game and we didn’t :(

  • You guys are idiots… PS+ has already had quite a few FULL PS3 games since the collection started. Not sure what you guys are saying that only Borderlands has been free or that UK is getting better games.

And bashing NFL Blitz? You guys are obviously pretty young if you don’t see any value in a fantastically designed arcade-like sports game from the original designers.

    Sigh.

  • And I don’t even like most sports games…

  • will neon alley subscription be payable with whats in your psn wallet or do you need a credit card?

  • whats coming for us ps+ members this whole month?
need to know thanks! is there more coming this month?
morgon need to know ok thanks!

  • Will infamous 2 & LBP2 ever going to be rotated out on the IGC? Why are they still on the IGC? I thought each game were going to be rotated out.

Not a bad update but could have been better. As for NFL BLITZ being added to the IGC is a slap in the face and a waste of space on the IGC.

  • Quite enjoyed this update! Chrono Cross is the highlight, for sure, and I would be remiss if I didn’t annoyingly ask about MGS: Portable Ops becoming playable on Vita. Please work on this, guys. Other than that, I’m quite satisfied with everything. Guess I’m spending some money once I get home.

  • Any word on when we’ll be allowed to transfer Vector TD, Pac Man CE, and/or Angry Birds to our Vitas? I really, really dislike being locked out of content that I ALREADY PAID FOR.

Really looking forward to the Silent Hill demo on Vita, greatly increasing the chance I’ll buy it at retail.

Meanwhile, Zero Escape has voice acting in both languages but is only ~132MB? The audio quality must be awful :( Unless there’s a demo that proves otherwise, I’m skipping that one until there’s a patch.

@kilburni86 , I agree with you. I tend to buy story-based games at retail so I can trade them in once I’ve experienced the story and/or gotten the Platinum trophy, but I prefer having “ever green” games like Wipeout and Lumines as digital downloads. They had better re-base their pricing on PSN for those first-party titles lest they just be trying scam consumers who don’t know any better.

  • @107 – to each his own. I’m considering renewing my PS+ subscription when it expires in a week BECAUSE of NFL Blitz. Loved that game in the arcades, and if it’s as good here, I may just hang on for another few months to see what else is coming in addition to Blitz.

  • – Destructoid 30/100
    – Gamespot 45/100
    – G4 TV 50/100
    – Joystiq 50/100
    – Eurogamer 60/100

suck it resident evil 6!!! time to torrent the hell out of this game!

  • Any news on when Retro City Rampage is coming out?

  • Hmm…At least you finally have some DECENT games on this update and the fact that you are getting DOOM 3 BFG at the very least, makes Sony a bit respectable.

  • Unreal Update!!! Way to go Sony!!

  • I don’t usually complain about the PSN+ freebies, but now it is getting kind of ridiculous. I have no interest in NFL Blitz, and would much rather get something like Red Dead Redemption, Dead space 2, or even RE5 Gold. There hasn’t really been any triple-A titles on Plus for quite some time now … :(

  • I guess the two pointless replies from the first page is all we are getting. Bad customer service

  • Please put Folklore, Heavenly Sword and MGS4 on PSN :)

  • I’m sure plenty of people are happy with today’s release. I’m stuck in a pretty crappy financial situation, so I’d just like the games I’ve already bought.

Where’s Crash Bandicoot? Angry Birds? Pacman CE?

I really wanted to see Sonic Adventure 2 come to the Vita, too.

  • BLITZ???? no thanks. I refuse to download this. I’m VERY sad and disappointed, european plus will get RE5 Gold and Bulletstorm and we got BLITZ. Why a sport game? and WHY THIS GAME??? I’m realy crying right now, I spent my money to subscribe this service, ande since E3 the level of this service is dropping. I think that today playstation plus arrived to the bottom. I don’t know what is the problem with Sony US, they don’t read ours comments? They don’t care about what we like or what we want?

We waited the first update of the month to receive a good surprise, but since E3 we don’t have a good one (only borderlands).

European plus are getting free games from the TRIAL GAME LIST, why can’t we get them too?
We deserve at least resident evil 5, once this is the month of RE6.

Unfortunately my subscription finishes only in June 26th 2013

  • However, I still hold a grudge to SCEA for that “No 2D Policy” BS back in 2003-2008.

  • How about giving away something free each week for Plus members with a Halloween theme?

Both Zombie Apocalypse ( the first one) and inFamous Festival of Blood would
be good choices since (IIRC) neither has been given away for free yet.

I’d like to see more classic arcade games released on PSN as well.
I wish SNK/P would continue to release new Neo-Geo Station games.
I think if thy would just make the price a permanent $5 ea, add Trophies,
and allow them to transfer to the Vita they would sell much more.

  • Before I signed in the entire blog was completely messed up in IE. One of the most recent posts must have some HTML that IE doesn’t play nice with or something.

  • Awesome update, Thank you. question though, when will we expect MGS 1 to work on the vita?

  • how come AC3 and RE6 don’t get a 10% discount for plus members??

  • sonic adventure 2 yesssssssss (head explodes)

  • hey yall check out my avatar it’s HOT lol xD i’m loving all the RE6 stuff

  • 1)will the sonic adventure 2, contain the dream cast unlock able skins (different costumes, not characters) as well as the dlc having the sa2 battle unlock-able costumes?

2)what about the unlock-able version of big (for 2p) from dreamcast, is he in it? does his character get overwritten with the dark chao if you get the dlc?

3)what about the Halloween and Christmas costumes? will we ever get those?

    thanks

  • Ok sony you convinced me lol im getting ac3 119.99 bundle from the store and getting 20 dollars back in november yes its the better offer you win … Thank god its not a ps plus thing cuz then id be mad lol

  • @79: Thank you for mentioning that! I just tried to transfer FFIII from my PS3 to my Vita again, and lo and behold, it worked. Hallelujah! Maybe that means it’s close to being released in the store… or maybe it’s just another two-hour glitch. If anyone else wants to get Final Fantasy III onto your Vita, try transferring it from PS3 again, ASAP. It appears to be working again.

  • Nice update, short on PSP deals, but no other complaints/suggestions.

  • There should be an escape plan bundle … Think about Morgan, make the suggestion upsairs

  • When Is NA gonna support Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops for vita, Europe can already do it doesn’t make sense.

  • just wondering but are any of these PSOne games crossbuy?

that would be an incentive to me since i already own Xenogears, and would love to replay Chrono Cross and FFTactics on my non-existant Vita *I mean that would give me reason to buy a Vita since there are hardly any real vita games worth playing except for Little Big Planet.

Also, what are the October PLus deals? Am I gonna have to wait until november to grab the 12-month plus just to get the $20 additional for DLC and crap games?

  • Hey i can use those 20 buck to go ps plus again in november just in time for vitas ps plus

  • First off, you guys do a tip top shape running Plus. I hear the negative energy and I give you guys kudos for keeping your chins up. For what it is worth I love Plus and think for $50 a year it’s a fantastic deal.

So in 28 days I will be a new Vita owner. Once I get my Vita all registered on my account, my question is:

    1) Will the PSone games I own on my PS3 that you listed above be part of my games I can download on my Vita?

    2) Any chance Sony or Ubisoft will consider those individuals who are buying an Assassins Creed Vita AND the PS3 version giving them at a reduced cost a season pass since you’re offering a bundle for both games.

    Extra credit question:

    3) So I’m The Great Pumpkin as you probably could guess by my user name. Do you see my avatar to the left of me? As cool as Journey is I’d love to have a pumpkin avatar. Any chance you can put one of those bad boys up with it being in season and all ;)

    Thanks guys.

  • And why is Little King Story $40? They actually expect people to spend that much on a game that used to be on Wii? Even if this is completely new its way overpriced.

  • L.O.L. at digital only games being full priced. $40 for New Little King’s Story, with no retail option is some b/s.

How can the PS3 version of Lego Harry Potter 5-7 cost the same as the PSP and PS Vita version? On the same note, why does the PSP version cost the same as the PS Vita version? PSP version should be $9.99, and the PS Vita version should be $14.99 tops.

No way either portable version should be the same price as the real Lego game. Those gimped POSes shouldn’t exist, but I know it’s too late for that. So publishers should at least have some decency with pricing the awful versions of their games.

  • Yes dubloon you buy the ps one game once and it works on every playstation platform so guess what you have something to put on that brand new vita i think your thinking of buying

  • Great Update! …….. For those who hae the money to buy all that Stuff :/

  • Man, what a ridiculous Plus drop. I’m thinking about subscribe on the Europe one, or cancel this. C’mon.

  • @139:
    1. Yes. Easier to just go to them in the store though. Since it’ll have the little red bag showing you bought it and let you download it from there.
    2. Doubt it. But what do I know about that one.
    3. Surprised we don’t have more generic holiday themed avatars tbh. So I support that.

  • Tgpumpkin jm they are offering a discount for the season pass of ac3 lol ten bucks im sure the season pass costs thirty at least thats what i see and since they give you 20 bucks back in november its just the best offer out there

  • Is Sorcery still on the store for full price? If so why? Why can’t you maintain the store better. Maybe I should just buy a used copy instead since PSN is months behind on price drops because if I have to go out and get a physical copy it will be used…….
