  • The only best and well deserved to be a classic and that has happened to be part of the PS2 Classics library are: Bloodrayne 1 & 2, God Hand, Persona 3 FES, Psychonauts, and GTA III. That’s as far as I know. Not sure why those two are becoming PS2 Classics and not many would be pleased about those upcoming titles. Many of us are not familiar of them. I thought Classics would be meant for the ones that are actual “classics”. Like @42 have listed and perhaps:

    Fatal Frame 1, 2, and 3
    Burnout 3: Takedown
Persona 4 (Just release it anyway even if P4: Golden is coming out)
    Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
    SSX Tricky
    Bujingai: The Forsaken City
    Bloody Roar 4
Medal of Honor: Rising Sun (if it’s not going to be release as HD then why not as a PS2 classic?)
    Spider-Man 2
    Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex
Most of the Star Wars games like Star Wars Battlefront II
    True Crime: Streets of L.A.
James Bond 007: Agent Under Fire
    James Bond 007: Nightfire
    Onimusha (all 4 of them)
    Tekken 4
    Dynasty Warriors 4
    Enter The Matrix
    The Matrix: Path of Neo
    Samurai Warriors
    Resident Evil: Outbreak

  • cant wait for tuesday! only question is when the store will be updated? hope i can start downloading re6 before i head out and start playing when im home! :)

  • I don’t think it’s a matter of being called sheep or not.

Capcom stated several times that RE6 would be more survival than crazy action like RE5 and, from the demo, Capcom lied. The game is not bad, but it’s for people who prefer crazy non-stop action.

For those who think its impossible to do survival horror this gen, play Dead Space.

  • @ 14

    you forgot SMT: Nocturne

  • Ha ha, how did you guys not know what Ruff Trigger is? It’s a shameless Ratchet and Clank Ripoff that’s been consistantly ridiculed since it’s release.

  • Sony.
    Sony, please listen to me.

PLEASE, convince SEGA to bring Sonic Adventure 2 to the PlayStation Vita.
I will give you all of my money if you make it happen. I miss that game, and to play it on a portable would be the greatest thing ever.

  • @50 well I think Max Payne and Maximo would fall into the category but the online servers for RE: Outbreak were closed years ago and without the online that game is really dull

  • I ordered Resident Evil 6 from Newegg.com with a total price of $47.99 (FREE SHIPPING) This was a temporary 3 day deal. Also I am looking forward to Sonic Adventure 2 (any SA2 avatars perhaps?) (I clocked over a 100 hours in the Dreamcast version, even got all emblems in that version too) I am also interested in Nights but I’ll save that for another time since I have my hands full with these 2 games and Dead or Alive 5.

  • @14 Diablo 1 for ps one as well…i really would love to have that

  • Come on Sony I’m still waiting for some MGS love. The 25th anniversary is this year and I keep hoping that the next “The Drop” will have metal gear solid portable ops for vita and metal gear ps1 for vita. We Vita owners love that we are getting such great titles as LittleBigPlanet and now Little King’s Story but lets get some more psp games for vita hitting up again.

  • Wooooo! Resident Evil 6!!! Going to the Midnight Launch tomorrow!!!!!!

  • @25
I’m with you there, I’ve never judged an RE game poorly because they’re all quite good in their own way.

  • Funny. I heard that NBA 2K13 was cancelled because the developers didn’t like how it was going quality-wise. That’s what IGN said, anyway.

  • Am I missing something or do we still know nothing about PS+ for October?

  • @54: Come on DOOD, didn’t ya know? Ruff Trigger is a total classic. Who didn’t love Ruff Trigger, the greatest of the greats of the PS2 era?

  • Lucky for me there is a game shop near where I live that sells all kinds of great games from pretty much every console gen. I just went and grabbed a PS2 again instead of waiting for actual GOOD PS2 games to show up on PSN. Now guess who is making money off of me? Not Sony or the game devs for sure. Maybe if you released anything worth a damn you’d get my money.

  • Resident Evil 6 and SA2.

    Please add DBZ avatars!

  • @Monterossa So all you want is boring JRPGS? we need some shooters, adventure and horror games aswell.

  • @#62 ATFrez: That’s NBA Live 2013………..you really know how to read fella and know your Basketball games….
Hope the PSN Blog team reads my last post question…..

    If not here it is:
Will NBA 2k13 and/or Resident Evil 6 be midnight releases or be available pre-release downloads? Thanks.

  • I need to know if there will be a midnight release for RE6 so i can cancel my preorder tommorow for it.

  • LOL Ruff Trigger was so awful lmao

I remember i got it at wal-mart for 99 cents and it was like the most unplayable thing ever xD

  • For me? Nothing appealing so far. Resident Evil 6 on PSN Day 1? Thank You for the WARNING. Capcom fooled me once with RE 5, i won’t be fooled again RE 6. If Shinji Mikami is not in charge…NO sale. My .02

  • Vanquish on PSN please… :)

  • Yay! Little Kings Story and Nights into Dreams.

  • 52

haha 52 said dead space like it was a worthy comparison.
jokes and tear cookies. it’s been eventful.

  • “Classics” Is a buzzword geniuses. It doesn’t mean, “Everyone loved this game so it’s on here”. Learn some basic marketing. Sheesh.

And there’s more to releasing old games digitally than just pushing a button. So stop acting like everything should just be there. Get over it. Tired of you people complaining.

  • I guess I’m the only one excited for the Silent Hill demo?? New Little Kings Story is a must! I’ll try the virtue demo but from what I’ve seen it doesn’t look like something I would like. All of these retail games are cool but I’m sure most of them are 10-15 GB +.. how about RE6 for the instant game collection? Just kidding.. or am I?

  • How about Final Fantasy III on PSVita? Or are we still not getting our purchase this week? Japan and Europe’s PSN can play it with no issues and the people that got it before it was blocked have no issues. It seems the real issue is with SCEA.

  • Amen, Elvick.

  • RE6! Finally!

  • @Elvick_: And I’m tired of you complaining about people complaining. Really you are no better than any of em. In fact you have no right to even say that. You do exactly the same as well.

  • And now I’ve created an endless loop as we can simply repeat that back and forth endlessly. Enjoy that for what it’s worth.

  • I wonder what free games are going to be on PlayStation+ in October.

  • I am certainly getting NiGHTs Intro Dreams! :D

  • We are getting NFL Blitz for plus…and the PS2 classics suck royally. Tired of RE. Pre-ordreed DOOM 3 BFG…NO more decent PS1 classics or 2 and old lame games brought back from the dead. Crappy week.

  • The Day 1 Digital Release feature on PSN is the best! I live in China where most games are pirated, so now I can finally get authentic games without having to ship them from Japan. Hope more cool stuff like this keeps coming~

  • Where do I find the Full list of PSone games coming on the Vita Oct 2?

  • Hey guys, please consider lowering down the price for Siren Blood Curse and include The Bouncer from PS3

  • @1, who cares.

  • I’m waiting for Black, one of the most amazing PS2 classics!!!!!
