  • i might look to the God of War Saga since it includes Origins and the HD Collection of the first two games(which i only have in PS2)

    amazing stuff :P

  • The best week I’ve seen all summer!

Definitely picking up the Ratchet Collection! There’s so many good memories I have from those games, and playing online in Up Your Arsenal, TRUE online, is going to be amazing!

Also, I hadn’t already played 3/5 of the God of War games and both InFamous’ (plus Festival of Blood), I’d buy those as well. They’re all amazing games!

And don’t get me started on the Journey collection. I own both Journey and Flower already, but I debating whether I should buy this collection. I just love those games so much!

Like I said, great week. If you haven’t been fortunate enough to play all these wonderful games, do yourself a favor. :D

  • Please release Gran Turismo 1,2,3 and 4 on the store. I can’t believe this hasn’t been done yet… One of the best selling franchises on PlayStation!

  • Oh goody. Shoving more God of War down our throats….ech. Besides that: are we to see some of the digital content for Journey on the Store as well?

  • I got my copy of God of War Saga at Best Buy today. So far so good.

  • @54 Its not a limited run. You can stil buy the Sly Collection if you want..
@49 Probably not. Demo might come separately on PSN at a later date

  • I’m just psyched about Psychonauts. I thought it was an XBOX exclusive back in the day. I’m very pleased to see it on the list.

  • Will the GoW saga come to PSN?

  • Why wont they have the GTA:Trilogy in HD with trophies? GTA SA is the best selling ps2 game so its stupid to not on ps3

  • @56 excaliber45,

OMG!!! They SHOVED it down your throat?! Why, that’s horrible! I won’t be buying any more Sony products now that I know they physically assault their customers like that! Someone could be killed!

What’s the real reason for your inane whining?

  • @64 TeamInsaneClown, dragon_night,

I’m with you guys on Bishock. I would love to have that on my console. Some of the others too, especially Portal 2.

I’m not sure about the rest, but I don’t think the full KZ3 will ever be on PSN, as that game fills an entire 2 layer BD. They put just the MP on PSN, and I think that was because the campaign they felt would be too large a download and use too much HD space. The MP alone is IIRC 15GB.

Anyway, this is an awesome drop this week! I am definitely getting a few of these games/collections. R&C especially is a must buy for me.

  • I already own both Infamous games, along with Festival of Blood. What are these “extra missions, additional character costumes, power ups and weapon styles” you speak of in the “Collection”? Will be pretty crappy to force early purchasers to buy all three games again in order to get some extras. I mean, is it just all of the DLC that’s already available in the store… or new things exclusive to the “Collection”?

  • @61 southparkmayor,

I’m pretty sure you’d have to ask R☆.

  • when is rouge galaxy coming to the vita? And where in the wide wide world of sports is retro city rampage??????

  • I believe this is the best DROP ever. I already have Ratchet and Clank pre-ordered from Sony Store, and i’m getting Psychonauts, Tony Hawk, and Metal Gear Solid. Thank You SONY!!!
P.S. KH 1&2 HD or PS2 Classic would be a huge seller, Please BRING IT!!!

  • Pro Evolution Soccer demo ?

    i love this game

  • sorry for double post

What time does the psn update in the usa?

  • You cant belive how happy i am to FINALLY see peace walker hd as a PSN RELEASE, THANKS SONY THANKS KONAMI, now can we get this week a release of MGS4 and MGS1 PSN AVATARS PLZ!! :D

  • Will THPS HD and MGS Peace Walker be playable on Vita?

  • I think i’m in shock… thanks Rey!

  • well you guys got me with God of War Collection i should deff pick it up since its my favorite game ^.^

  • It was mentioned before that these collections would be avaliable on PSN el carte…. So my question is if thats true when does God of War 3 go digital?

  • Excellent drop! But there is one problem with the description of MGS: Peace Walker. I’ve been around a lot of COLOMBIANS, and I know for a fact that one of they’re pet-peeves is when you spell their country with a U instead of a O. I think it’s how you would feel if everyone in the world called United States of America, “Unided States of America. Just a sense of patriotism.

  • Excuse the typo, I meant their*. Not they’re.

  • man i really love the God of War Saga Collection, definitely thinking of getting it.
what I’m wondering is can i play God of War : Origins on my Vita?

  • is peace walker going to be downloadable by the vita.

  • @24

What he said!! (except that I would have Warhawk bundled with Starhawk and GT5 bundled with Wipeout but whatever)

  • To everyone asking: The Sly 4 demo will NOT be included with the digital Ratchet & Clank games. Those are not bundled like the retail case is. The Sly 4 demo is included via PSN Code bundled with the retail copies.

I’m really stoked for the R&C Collection… just one more day and a few excruciating hours at the office, and then… blowing stuff up. I’m new to the series, but I’ve heard so many good things and a lot of people have told me to try it out, so… :D

  • Any idea on what discounts us non psn+ users are going to get?

  • Good update for PlayStation this week…. but there is no mention about the vita update for ps1 games in version 1.80… even though fellow gamers in this post believe it is coming tomorrow. Can we all have a definite guarantee that version 1.80 will be available tomorrow so we don’t have to complain throughout the day saying “Where is the update”, ” how much longer will the delay of the 1.80 update will ” ” come on Sony i want to play FF7 again hurry up with the update”. You got my point right?

  • I want to get God of War Saga, but it isn’t listed at BestBuy.com… Hm.

  • Vita/ps1 integration update will come on tomorrows PSN update. It has beed stated a few weeks back. Again, The Drop almost never has everything that is released on tuesdays PSN update. So hold steady people, we will see whats up come tomorrow…I myself cant wait.

  • So is the MGS peace walker the separate HD collection version or are they officially adding the PSP version? The description doesn’t really say.

  • How much is the God of War Saga (3D Support for Origins Collection)?

  • nothing for PLAYSTATION PLUS USERS??.. come on guys ..did you workers forget about us ??

  • what is this weeks PS PLUS exclusive ?

  • Gotta say, nice trailer Ray.

Otherwise, I know a few people I can push some of these great bundles on that will enjoy them.
Might hold off on that though if I need a few x-mas gifts though.

Gonna look forward to a few more of those HD remakes and PS2 re-releases.
If you got some people who are looking forward towards Psychonauts, I can only imagine their experiences with some of the earlier Level 5 titles. Specifically Rouge Galaxy but especially Dark Cloud 2.

  • Decent update, though not as fulfilling as last weeks. Couldn’t care less about that overrated pretentious Journey collection.

I am excited to see Peace Walker come to psn. I wish i had known you guys would bundle all 3 MGS HD games together this week, so i could have waited instead of getting MGS by itself last week. :/

I have only played Ratchet All 4 One, but i thought it was fun. Looking forward to trying the Ratchet Collecion if its $19.99 (hopefully cheaper for Plus members).
I’m also hoping for Walking Dead Episode 3 to finally arrive tomorrow. Though the fact that there isn’t an article announcing it on here yet makes me doubt it. :(

  • @59 It wasn’t. It came out for Xbox, PC, PS2.

The game was released on April 19, 2005, for the Xbox, April 26 for Microsoft Windows and June 21 for PlayStation 2. It was released on Steam on Oct 11, 2006, as an “Xbox Original” through Xbox Live Marketplace, and on the GameTap subscription service. On November 5, 2009, Psychonauts also became available through the online distribution service GOG.com through their partnership with Majesco. In September 2011, a new version with support for Steamworks features, including a Mac OS X port, was released. In May 2012, a Linux port was released through the Humble Indie Bundle V. The PS2 version will be re-released on PlayStation Network on August 28, 2012.

  • do the god of war and infamous versions have a different trophy set than the originals i’ve already gotten?

  • it’s Colombia, not Columbia!

    check the spelling!

  • If download ratchet and clank collection do I still get the sly 4 demo?

  • Great Week im especially excited for Psychonauts

  • Any chance of a Midnight launch for the digital versions of Madden?
