  • LOOK AT EVERYTHING ELSE! Getting some Sega loving with some Alex Kidd and Shinobi, ALONE IN THE DARK! and Most Wanted was and probably is the BEST NFS ever. Though Sony, still waiting for PANZER DRAGOON SAGA and DRAGON FORCE. If Microsoft can get Radiant Silvergun, which PS3 needs as well, Sony can work things out with SEGA to get the two Dragons on the PS3. Radiant Silvergun would play better on a Dualshock anyway. LOOKS GOOD SONY! Keep em comin. You’re outselling month over month and about to overthrow the 360 worldwide. Keep that momentum going. We’re psyched for what you’ve got (that’s gotta be huge having announced All Stars Battle Royal, God of War, and Sly Cooper) this year at E3!

  • Oh oh man… my wallet.. forgive me for what I’m about to do to you this week!!! o_O

  • That’s alot of content. Gah, my 320 gb HD has 18 gb left… have to start clearing out my HD films. ): Sorcery will keep me very busy till Resistance hits.

@44, there was a blog post here last week w/ an update on working PSP/mini (s) for the Vita. If the titles you own aren’t on the “coming soon” list, you’ll need to wait for another blog update for more info. The conversion process must be difficult or else PSP/mini support wouldn’t be so problematic. In terms of PS1 titles, I imagine the emulation is tougher for devs to code than previously realized. I hope there’s an announcement about this come E3.

  • Ahhhhhhhhh just two more days until GHOST RECON. I die a little each second, nah jk but i am excited for and those awsome pre-order bonuses if three other people are interested in teaming up with me. Please be someone who is serious about co-op and not a a$$h0le (pardon my french) who quites after the first fail.

  • I have found a bug on my PS Vita that is a rather big problem. I have the 3g Vita and the 3g is not active. When my barrtey dies on my Vita and im watching a show on Netflix, it causes everything to not work right when i start it up after a charge. When i press the shut down button or try and enter anything it won’t enter it and then i have to force shutdown becuase the shut down button wont work and stays up on the screen. Idk about if this happens with games but it’s a bit angering. I can’t get no games/apps to work and froce shutdown must be done. Please fix this bug it is really annoy to have to do this everytime i run the barrtey dead! I enjoy my Vita but thier is some really bad hick ups in it right now. Ex. Flash support, remote play, lack of games and a few more but please fix this bug!

  • @54, hrmmm… if your battery is drained/dead, then the Vita won’t start no matter what. Nothing will be displayed on the screen & you’ll need to wait 10 minutes I think before the Vita will have a hair of power (assuming you’ve plugged the Vita via charging cable). So, you really can’t do anything if your battery dies on the Vita- it needs to be charged & you’ll need to wait abit.

  • @44, also, that Alarm Clock app was already released in Japan earlier this month. It’s probably going through translation & should hit our shores soon.

  • First and Foremost, Doctor Who. Finally! seriously cannot wait, and at least for the PS3 psn update im happy. too bad its not the Vita version, but im buying both when they come out. And wonderboy which i remember playing as a kid, so i might end up getting that too.

Sadly another update with zero content for Vita. seems like a trend, and like i have said time and time again there is no reason for us to get nothing with these update. if we cant get Vita game give us Psp titles, which i know we got some titles last update, but i was hoping that trend would continue, Or at least give us information on when PS1 support is coming out. from the looks of it, plus their silence seems to tell me they are withholding it till E3 because i guess to them we fans want something big at E3 and the Ps1 support is that big thing? i pray this is wrong, but they have held things to release at E3 before (ps1 classic final fantasy games).

Still im probably going to get hated on because i dont love my Vita, or kiss Sony for every move they make. And people will twist my words saying i dont think Vita has games, when in fact i have a number of games. i just feel they could be taking this handheld a little bit more seriously.

  • @55 when it pops up the sign thing with the slash though the barrtey. When i let it charge to any amout of barrtey and then it starts off were i left off but when i close out of Netflix, then i click on a little circle thing to start an app or something it will load up then when i hit on the “enter” thing it never loads my game or app. Then i close out if it try something else it does the same thing. When i try and shut it down and i get the little shut down menu i click shutdown then it wont shut down and i have to force shut down. Holding down the power button until it shuts down. It drives me insane! Oh my Vita is also up to date.

  • DoTheKiller91,

No it wont support online play as its emulated, plus the servers for SF The Omega Strain went down in 2009 or so…

  • @56 i could’t agree more. since we havent got to many new games u would think they would be rolling out the updates instead they let a great piece of software just sit and almost be wasted! Sony better step up thier game with Vita or it might be crashing very soon. before it came out all i read online was how it would be an amazing device. so far it’s soso and thts becasuse Sony hasen’t held thier end of the bargin with ps1 games a great remote play and no flash which it’s starting to make me angery.

  • @59

In all honestly i think Sony is just waiting for E3 to release every little thing they cant. Dont get me wrong if they want a big E3 more power to them, but i would assume they be giving us little details about it. Especially since i read Sony expects to sell 10milltion units within the year. For me at least thats not possible since there are so much problems with Sony marketing/supporting the Vita, that they refuse to fix. I would hope when E3 comes its a blast, but from year to year it seems E3 is nothing worth wild. But again we shall see.

  • @58 ccrogers15

Ah crap, oh well thanks :(

  • iTofuMan, you mean you’re not excited about table top tanks for the vita? What’s wrong with you, its tanks …. on a table top. You can bounce bullets off a coffee cup, dude. This is like the… uh, ultimate breakfast game. I’m gonna have my tanks cut a path between two slice of bacon and a pancake.

  • Kudos on the Sega classics.

  • Yep defiantly going to broke after this

  • lobotomies4free

    Need for Speed Underground? Typo?

  • how much is table top tanks!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • How much will The Eternity clock and Alone in the dark cost?

  • Will the doctor who game be out for the ps3 and vita on tuesday?

  • Does anyone know if the ghost recon game going to be on the psn store day one cause back in april in on of the post it was going to be up there. I can’t find out anywhere i been looking to this info, because when they say mass effect 3 was going to be up there day one it was at midnight.

  • APE ESCAPE FOR PSONE CLASSICS WOULD BE EPICCCCC.

PLEASE BRING APE ESCAPE TO PSONE CLASSICS, AND APE ESCAPE 2 and 3 TO PS2 CLASSICS! PLEASE?

  • Wasn’t the D&D game already released? I’d love to see these PSN games made playable on the Vita.

  • Will the online functionality for syphon filter work?

  • How about Rapala’s Pro Fishing for the PS2? The first one not the 2010 one. To this day it’s still one of the best fishing games out there.

  • Need for Speed: Most Wanted – Need for Speed Underground takes an expanded take on the police chases of the Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit …. so which of the three are we getting lol all you say..YES! lol

  • Anyone know if there will be a demo for Dr Who?

  • And for the importing group Steins;Gate is hitting PS3 this week! Finally 5pb is showing some PS3 love. I got the double pack pre-ordered.

Besides that I’m probably picking up some of the Sega games. Maybe. Still debating about them.

  • Now if only Alone in the Dark worked on the vita, I would actually be able to play it. Instead we get tabletop tanks woohoo!

  • Really want to grab dragons dogma and try out sorcery. I also need a new game for my vita and I’ve been wanting to nab goldeneye from the PSN now that it’s discounted. Games are expensive… :(

  • Oh, I also want to play datura

  • NFS Most Wanted is a step in the right direction. My favorite NFS. Other PS2 Classics I want…

    Gran Turismo 3&4
    Kindom Hearts 1&2
    Grand Theft Auto San Andreas
    Ratchet an Clank

  • i can’t believe my eyes,is the best NFS game really making it’s way to me ????

  • @63. for some reason that part i guess mainly the video didnt work for me so i guess i couldnt see it. i guess im so use to Vita/psp titles on the bottom since that is where they mostly put it. Ill admit im interested, byt probably wont be buying it. at least not anytime soon.

  • Super excited to play Sorcery! :D

Won’t bother with the tank game for PS Vita, since I assume it’ll use the ‘2’ card and I got two ‘1’ cards instead. And since Sony won’t send a new one, and expects me to print out a crappy makeshift one… it makes me care very little for any AR games. And I actually like AR games… but not more than I like things to be nice and the way they’re supposed to be~

  • @ dpunkjrocksm , the Vita version of Eternity clock is out in 2 weeks.

  • @11 and anyone else who didn’t know, Atelier Meruru was delayed and is coming out on the 29th, not the 22nd.

  • EVIL_D-E-M-O-N-S

Well I returned a vita again a few days ago. The first one I bought on March 1st and didn’t like it couldn’t play any good psp games. It still has no ps1 support, youtube app or a upgraded FLASH browser. So I returned it the very next. I bought another on May 14th and returned it May 15th cause it had terrible up and down scan lines that were very visible when the screen showed dark or light grey or the green menu back ground colors. I tryed to ignore it but my wife also noticed them and then I knew it was a screen defect and deactivated it and returned for a refund. The dang thing sad to say is another psp in the making. NO SUPPORT! All the games mostly out now is just ports of PS3 games I mean where is the good vita exclusives and not just PORTS or mini app camera games? Give us content worth owning one for. Put a vita version of GT5 or Skyrim on vita and watch sells grow super fast.

  • @EVIL_D-E-M-O-N-S Troll elsewhere and quityerbichin

  • EVIL_D-E-M-O-N-S

I mean as I think about what I have experienced with owning a vita is being solo as in not hardly social at all game wise. I mean look at it its suppose to be like a ps3 on the go and being able to game multiplayer with others over wifi and 3g but 99% of the games on vita DO NOT SUPPORT Online multiplayer at all. These challenge modes of go against friends times and racing or fighting their ghost times isn’t what we expected. Only a very FEW games on vita support true 100% person against person multiplayer. 3g for online gaming on it is useless right now and so far is staying that way so I feel sorry for you 3g guys. Wifi is the way to go sad to say. Like I aleady have said and many of you in the blog has said as well, I bet they are waiting till E3 to release the good games and features for vita but if NOT then vita is dead in its tracks. Waiting till E3 is a bad idea anyways SONY! WTH?

  • EVIL_D-E-M-O-N-S

@ jimmyHACK….. The truth stings doesn’t it. I have owned 2 vita’s so far and I bet you have owned only one and stuck with keeping its featureless and game LESS exclusive soul. I state the facts as I have many times in the past for the blog team to get hints to its negatives and SEE THEM and for them to pass on to the team making the vita features and games and all you do is attack the ones that are in a way giving Sony constructive criticism. If you can’t take the truth of the vita’s downfalls then keep your mouth shut. Calling us trolls cause we are venting on things the vita needs improvement on isn’t helping Sony better it. So SHUT UP! Go fanboy rant in the bathroom to the mirror.

  • EVIL_D-E-M-O-N-S

Also Sony blog team how about spreading the word around to get Skyrim, Starhawk, GT5 and Nascar 2011 on the psn store for digital download.

  • nothing that interest me. lets get the M Rated gangster games comming.

  • @#35
This is what the developer Ripstone said on their twitter:
“Pure Chess to be released on the US PlayStation Network on 29th May 2012, PS3 & Vita. You heard it here first folks!”

  • @#66
I think they said $4 for Tabletop Tanks somewhere.

    @#68
Doctor Who will come out tomorrow on PS3 and I think in 2 weeks for Vita.

  • Hmm thats all good and well but can you please start to add prices, it’s like walking in to a shifty store where nothing is labeled.

  • @58, your comment is a little tough to read. So I guess the Vita does NOT go dead & dark because you begin charging it right? Then apps/games should properly resume. Try deleting your Netflix app & reinstalling it.

  • sorcery looks like a dumb game, I’m not sure it would be any better than any of the other move games like Sport champions.. I’m gonna only get LBP Karting,LBP VITA, and Starhawk, I know I should have starhawk right now, BUT, I needed a VITA 3g real bad..

  • @95, prices & sales are listed in the store “Update” blog on Tuesdays by Grace & Morgan.
