Hi Everyone –
It’s a good day to be a PlayStation gamer. Not only do we get to celebrate the release of Starhawk as well as the news that all future Starhawk map packs will be free (watch this space for when they’ll be dropping), we also see a ton of great content arriving on the PlayStation Store!

We start off today’s update with the PSN exclusive Datura. Playable with PlayStation Move or your DualShock 3 controller, this adventure will get you immersed into the game’s unique experimental narrative and original way of interaction. Experience the world not only visually but also exploration. In DATURA, the player will experience an incredibly unique scenario. As you play DATURA, you find yourself in a forest. As you explore this environment, you will be presented with different scenarios in which you have to make a choice, which will determine your end result. It’s an unforgettable journey brought to you by at Plastic (“Linger in Shadows”) and Santa Monica Studio. PlayStation Plus subscribers will also be able to pick this title up at a 20% discount ($7.99 PS Plus price). For more stories and news on Datura, click here.
While we get ready for the full release of PixelJunk 4am next week, you may want to take advantage of the amazing PixelJunk Anniversary sale! The astoundingly unique series that has helped define PSN games is now on sale for a limited time. Get many of the classics for as low as $1, and find more discounts on last year’s releases PixelJunk Shooter 2 and PixelJunk SideScroller. If you’re in the San Francisco and over 21, you’re also invited to check out the community event happening this Thursday. Click here for more details on the event.
Note: If you have downloaded the demo for PixelJunk Eden in the past, purchasing the game may only download the unlock key. Check your transaction list to redownload the demo so that the unlock key will allow you to play the full version.

is the UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieve DLC are free. for all country’s or not my friend look on his country’s web site
it’s time to get on a Sega Saturn Collection to release as a DLC.
@33 that makes no sense. Just buy physical then. Good grief… talk about manufacturing something to complain about. Digital distribution has flaws like everything. Either accept them, or go physical. Or just stop buying games all together and go away.
@41: lol “I had a Vita once”… it’s a whole 3 months old and you’re talking about it like it’s been out for 4 years. Not Sony’s fault that you bought something without being smart enough to research what games were coming. There’s plenty for me right now, and more coming that I’m interested in. Yay for being a smart consumer.
This is pretty much the first good week of PS Store updates for the year.
The PixelJunk games are great, guys. If you haven’t touched them yet, I highly recommend Monsters, Shooter, Shooter 2, and Sidescroller and Eden are okay. But like … $2 for the 3-Pack? Aha haha holy crap, get it.
@140: E3… given that these were announced *before* E3, I’d say that it’s safe to assume that PSVita titles will be a large focus at E3. Soul Sacrifice (for PSVita) was revealed not that long ago as well and a new teaser video was released recently.
People need to stop complaining. Games take time to develop. Launches always go this way. Hardware is released, you get your wave of launch titles. Which you always know before hand, so if you buy one knowing these don’t appeal to you, then you’re a fool.
Then you get launch window titles, which are in smaller amounts. Then you get trickles of games, while all the non-launch window titles are being wrapped up. Because, games take TIME.
Look at every launch and it’s the same pattern. So if you bought at launch expecting releases to be like 3 years into a generation, it’s your own fault. So sell your PS Vita and leave.
WAT? Datura is for dualshock too!? This whole time I thought it was just for move. UGH I’m so mad now, I woulda bought a PSN card for it :C
Overall I think this is a really good update. Datura looks really good, so I may have to pick that up once I have some extra cash, and I am very pleased with the free DLC for Uncharted 2. Gives me a reason to pull out my copy again! I’m a bit disappointed there still isn’t any news about Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock. It’s meant to be out sometime THIS month, right?
Please put Bejeweled 3 on Vita.
5 people try to take over the blog to say how good the vita is.50 different people say it is not that great,I think we know who is winning this debate.Looked on the blog to see if I should buy a vita yet .From the sound of it I think I should wait.Wonder haw many people think the same way.
@ Morgan Haro Also bring these playstation 2 classics to the playstation store….
Commandos: Strike Force
Commandos 2: Men of Courage
Fatal Frame
Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly
Fatal Frame III: The Tormented
I will never understand why “a game I already have is on sale for everyone else who may not have it” makes for a lousy update.
Lawl.
When will we be able to clean up the download history. I don’t need old episodes of QORE and what not clogging up my search for the games I care to re-download. We should have an option to delete stuff from the list, or at the very least be able to sort it by media, demo’s, and full games. Please at least consider this….Thanks
Could you tell whoever works out the store prices that $1 translates to 62p not £3.19. Seriously, don’t do sales in America that you can’t follow through on in Europe.
after last week update…this feels like a slap in the face
and we really need some vita support…don’t have us waiting until E3
@ Elvick_
then what about PSP content? i think we all understand how launches go. ive been through many, and while i agree that this launch like others are slow, and few. there is no excuse why we are being left out of PSP content. Sony even said it themselves that there would more content to come in the following weeks but nothing has actually been released.
Like i say time and time again if they cant release Vita content (which we all know needs time) then why not give us PSP content? its not like this is the first time they are trying to put it, they been doing it for years, then just stop. and some dont even make any sense like my example with Square. they have most of their games (both new and old) yet for some odd reason wont release Crisis Core, and Kingdom Hearts both highly requested.
All im saying is there is no excuse why we cant at least get something. no vita content, then give us PSP, if they cant with that, Ps1 content, if they cant give us any of that then they should have never promised things they know they couldnt keep, and in my opinion shouldnt be in the handheld company. they did an ok job with Psp there is no reason why they are doing so little for the Vita.
Nothing to see here, move along.
#212 that was my thoughts too. There is many different ways they could make the situation better that they already have the content and technology to do.But to choose nothing and silence I do not understand.
Multi-touch 5-inch organic light emitting display (OLED) as the front display
Multi-touch pad on the rear of the device
Dual analog sticks
Two digital cameras (front and rear)
Software titles on small, Vita-specific flash memory-based cards
Three motion sensors, gyroscope, accelerometer and electronic compass
Advanced and fast Wi-Fi connectivity
Free PlayStation Network access, including trophy support and new Vita features “LiveArea” and “Near”
Vita can play PSP titles, minis, PS one classics, video and comics from the PlayStation Store
This is from the description of the device I bought. This is why people are complaining. As soon as it is lawyers complaining, something will happen. This isn’t helping, I know. But the people DO have a valid complaint, which is regularly ignored. Which actually makes it stand out even more.
What we read around the web? Ha! I know what I read, and it’s not what you’re writing. The people are too connected for this to work anymore. Maybe Sony was successful with this plan before, but times have changed too much. Get with it, Sony, bite back the apple or you’ll be the one rotting.
hey Morgan.
from what ive read on NIS America’s site, all the dlc from disgaea 4 has been posted. will there be a bundle package to purchase it all at once, like there was in disgaea 3? if so, when can we expect it.
It’s up to NIS to agree on any bundles that the Store would do.
