Hey everyone,
It’s a special PS Vita early launch week / Valentine’s Day edition of the PlayStation Store Update! But it doesn’t mean there’s no great new PS3 content to talk about either. Which means we’ve got a lot to cover, so let’s get to it.
Kicking things off this week is the official PlayStation Store launch of PS Vita titles available to download once you’ve connected to PlayStation Network. Many of the downloadable titles are also available at retail as well such as UNCHARTED: Golden Abyss. However, there are exclusive titles that are only on PSN including Super Stardust Delta, Escape Plan and Hustle Kings.
Escape Plan delivers a new style of “survival humor” gameplay that takes full advantage of the unique features of the PS Vita. Super Stardust Delta brings the famous twin-stick shooting that made for a gripping experience on PS3 and brings a new edition to PS Vita with all-new gameplay tweaks. Lastly Hustle Kings lets you make your way to the top of the global leader boards in this beautifully chic pool setting. Access the PlayStation Store on your PS3 or PS Vita to download the new PS Vita content.
If you’re looking to purchase new PSP or PS mini titles to play on your PS Vita, you may want to browse the PlayStation Store on your PS Vita as not all older titles are compatible, even if they are digitally available on PSP. Check the full list here. On a similar note, remember that any PSP titles you purchased, or purchase going forward digitally on PSP, are available for you to download and play on your PS Vita, as long as they are listed here.
PS Vita isn’t the only place to find new PlayStation content. This week also sees the release of PSN Games House of the Dead III, Inferno Pool and Worms Ultimate Mayhem, to name a few. Even better, if you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you get new release Inferno Pool free, and day one discounts on House of the Dead III and Worms Ultimate Mayhem!
Additionally for PlayStation Plus subscribers, to show our appreciation and love this Valentine’s Day, we, along with our friends at Ubisoft, are putting Far Cry 2 FREE for subscribers! It’s a great way to get prepped for the upcoming release of Far Cry 3, and an all around amazing game to play if you didn’t get the chance to play it.

today i am getting my vita.its on the way yay.here is what i did.i sold the limited version case on ebay for 40 dollar.can u believe it?i also sold the memory card and the game for 50 bucks woot woot.now 350-90=260.yes sir i paid 260 for the first bundle and got the 32gb memory.on top of that i am getting my vita a week early and free internet and free full stardust game.now if this isn’t deal than nothing else is.for ppl who are bitichin about different section for vita.sony have told its going to take 2 weeks to make that happen.

If you’re not buying a Vita, this is a pretty awful update. Also, the new store setup, where you have to now scour the categories for what has been added, is abysmal.

I’m very pleased with the PS+ offerings as of late. Not that I wasn’t before, but it’s like godtier now. Well done.
Also, tons of great price drops. I highly recommend Undergarden to people. For $3 it’s a steal!
Only thing I want more from PS+ is some discounts on PSVita and PSP games. I know the focus seems to be on just things that work on PS3 (and happen to work elsewhere ala; PSone and PSMinis), but surely you can spread the lovin’. As long as it doesn’t take away from PS3 only users, I don’t see why they would mind.
Or if you just keep it up with good price drops, then hey, I’m good.

I need the Free trial of Fatal Inertia it’s not on the+ side and it’s not in PS3 games any more. i got the unlock key but no game. do you have to go back yo download list and download it again if its there I got about 1400 download on my list and I Pitty the fool who looks it up. ;)

Originally I signed up for PS+ for the cloud games save feature. Which was very useful because less than a week later my HDD died on me.
Now with all these free games you’ve given us this year (along with the ones I got at the end of 2011) I have been convinced to add another year (maybe even two!) to my PS+ subscription.

Am I the only one having trouble with Fatal Inertia here? The upgrade item that PS+ is offering says to download the trial first before installing the upgrade.
Problem is, I cannot find the trial on the store via normal means, and when I do a search for it, and do find it, it says it cannot be access with my account.
I like Far cry 2 and Hamsterball. Would any recommend Battle Fantasia and Fatal Interia ?? I watched videos of both and they seemed decent but i don’t know if i would like them. What do the rest of you think of them ?
I really do enjoy being a Plus member in months like this. So much free stuff and discounts this month. Also, I would like to thank you guys @ Sony again for giving out the sega classics again this month to plus members, cause i missed altered beast the last time. Cant wait to get it next week. Keep up the good work. Also, I might pick up a Vita after my tax refund comes in, dont know yet, you know, cause of bills and all. Please fix the Super Stardust Install error. Tried copying from the PS3 and still get an error. Every time I try and install it it just says: An error has occurred. C2-12383-7.

It looks so much clearer and bright on the PS Vita from how it looked on my PSP 3000 (I couldn’t stand playing it as it was so DARK on my brightest setting) it’s playable now! Yay! It’s not “downloadable” from the store or download list on the PS Vita.
PS+ members have no room to complain about this update. GREAT update for + with 7 free games!!
I have to say, to be quite honest, I am dissapointed with the online pricing of the games.
Well, I was expecting a 10$ rebate off PS Store games, not just a small 10% off. When I compare to my tablet with Asphalt 6, it’s only 1$. So ok, it’s not the same quallity, but it’s 1$, you know. Any chance we might get theses free games and smaller budget games here on Vita? Like PS Suite but inverted? That would cool.
Also, anychances that PS Vita PS Plus subscriber gets additional saving 1st day release. (Like instead of just saving 5$, they could save 10$ from day one).
Obviously, there’s alot of games that I want, but since my budget is limited, I won’t be able to get all the games I wanted from day one.
Oh, 1 last thing, I won’t be getting a 32Gb Vita Card because I’d have to pay the game PLUS a memory Card, so there’s not savings at all. Sony really needs to get the heads up that thoses prices for digital version is way too much when you count everything that it implies, it’s too much.
I’d go for 15% to 25% rebates.
10% to 15% for regular
25% for plus member
That’s far more reasonable and logical.

I Bought Super Stardust Delta a Week Before They Have Announced That It Will Be The Free Game That Comes With The First Edition And Launch Bundle Buyers… Is Their Any Way I Can Get The Funds Back Into My Wallet And/ Or Trade?
Just a reminder to everybody about the free game is that you have to pay for one month of a data plan from at&t. So you get a “free” $15 game after paying $15-$30 on a plan. Plus you have to wait for 30 days after the first month. It’s great if you are going to use the 3G anyways but if your doing it for the game you’re not saving any money.
