We recently announced our partnership with DIRECTV to bring their most popular sports subscription service, NFL SUNDAY TICKET, directly to you via your PlayStation 3. Starting later today, you can access the direct link in the My Channels category under the TV/Video Services icon on the XMB (XrossMediaBar) or head over to the media category of the PlayStation Store to download the app in anticipation of the new 2011 NFL season.
This Sunday, PS3 owners without access to DIRECTV will be able to live stream every out-of-market Sunday NFL game on their PS3 with a subscription to NFL SUNDAY TICKET. You’ll be able to enhance your NFL experience with live multi-game scoreboards and field position trackers, which also allow you to access highlights, stats, standings and schedules, as well as the Red Zone Channel, which gives you live coverage of Sunday’s most exciting moments. The subscription for the 2011 season can be purchased directly through the app for $339.95. Existing subscribers can use the PS3 as an additional receiver in their home, as part of their NFL SUNDAY TICKET To-Go package, which is purchased through DIRECTV.

Its amazing, I was trying to watch games legit this year and not use other online streaming sites. I guess it is right nice guy finish last.
They should have talked to Netflix on how to stream properly, and prepare for heavy traffic. Whoops, what am I thinking that’s DirecTV’s enemy!
Yes definitely trying to come to life now .. Breaks between pauses although unacceptably lengthy are getting short and video isn’t timing out for me lions@bucs
They should bump it down to YouTube quality until they purchase bigger Internet tubes. I don’t think they’re going to fix this without buying some bigger tubes.
65% improvemrent for me .. Pauses are averaging about 7 to 10 secs before game restarts .. Still unacceptable, but I actually saw an entire play without a pause .. It’s a shame that kind of status update is progress

What a botched job. How embarrassed am I? I Invited friends over to watch the Cleveland vs Cincinnati game only to find it unwatchable. Everybody left at halftime to go to a bar. Perhaps this wouldn’t have happened if they had previewed the service during the pre-season. Or perhaps that was their fear; that we would discover how crappy the service is and not subscribe. They have this week as a mulligan, but if it’s the same next week, complete refunds are in order!
I got two whole COMMERCIALS in HD. But the few plays I have seen have been broken up by plays from the opening drive (CLE@CIN). Really about had enough of this nonsense.
32 MBPS connection here. Just got about 5 minutes of straight video on ten/jax and now it has frozen again. to hell with this crap. I want my refund. I missed my team play. This is ridiculous

Hmm, maybe if I post here about the epic fail that is NFL Sunday ticket on ps3, it won’t get deleted like my shy Facebook wall posts. Since we paid for a product that does not end up working as advertised and are billed by Sony, not DirectTV,then i’m assuming Sony should be responsible for a refund. Like if I buy something at a store, I get a refund if it does not work…right?
I haven’t been able to get more than 1 minute of super jaggy video with random intermittent commercials cutting in on actual plays and not during play stoppage. This has been a joke, and for the ridiculous amount of money i sped for this is just completely insane.
Sony what are you going to do to compensate us for this laughable epic fail. I would like a full refund.

$ 340.00/17 weeks of football= $20.00 a week. If they get this fixed by next week, i’d be perfectly happy with a $20.00 refund and a shout out for my pain and suffering. And believe me, there was some pain and suffering. If they don’t get it fixed, start signing some pretty hefty refund checks
Sony Really has to step up to plate on this issue its almost like stealing from your Consumers that payed for a specific service that does not work Shame on me for trusting Sony.

After 20 sec of uninterrupted action, thought I was going to get TEN’s last gasp drive to go for the win – instead froze on the punt. Total gong show. Others are about r ight: $20 and flawless week 2 and i’m back on board.

I feel ripped off! Let me rephrase, we WERE ripped off! A refund is in order. Not just for the $20 for this week, but what about the inconvenience. This is the worst experience ever! Sony should be ashamed of themselves! I had 12 people come over to watch the game, all to just go home after the first quarter!
