  • Resident Evil 5 untold stories bundle is showing up as $6.99 in the store instead of $5.99 like you posted

  • why Auditorium HD isnt avaible in latin america store?

  • Nice to hear bout the RE5 discounts, gonna pick those up. I hope that our free PS1 game is the first Metal Gear, or a Final Fantasy game…. Now that would be epic!!

  • @10

Minis are nothing to be proud of.

  • Ok I have been asking but now I am BEGGING! PLEEEEAAAAASSSSSSSSSS put Parasite Eve 2 on the PSN.

  • Auditorium HD half off!? AWESOME!!!

  • I was going to buy Dragon Age but come on 29.99 for the base game is a joke my friend bought the ultimate edition for 24.99 new at best buy. Your digital game prices are insane. Why not just tell E.A to include the whole game for download. Any way this was a good update.

  • Can someone please tell me if there is any possibility of getting Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep for my PSP GO?

  • @Morgan Haro Maybe no information but at least it shows someones paying attention which I consider a good thing.

  • @ 50 . i beg to differ. ps mimi’s can be played on psp and also the ps1 import and classic can be played on psp as well that not 150 psp game is n the store to buy. i do see a few psp games every week? i dont know folks alwys say bad thing about what is released becuase it not they waned. • Ever getting Twisted Metal 2 around it’s launch? I’d love to do some nostolgian before I get the PS3 game.

  • @TuttiCicero I’d hate to shop where you do.. You can get the ultimate edition for the same or cheaper anywhere else. The pricing is abysmal. It’s like people who defended the overpriced 3DS, “Research costs, new tech, rabble rabble”. Consumers don’t pay the bill for a company staying competitive, we don’t eat associated bandwidth costs and whatnot, to think we should is ridiculous. A retail game we actually get things for our money, not what we used to get in terms of quality books, box, disc, etc but at least it’s something. The way it is right now you pay more and get less.

  • Whatever happened to Far Cry 2? We were told that was coming today:

    Far Cry 2, Aug 2

  • I’m actually enjoying Scarygirl, it’s a platformer with a great art style, definitely worth a look!

  • My local Gamestop has Origins at $19.99 used and Ultimate for $29.99 new. No idea why your Gamestop is different but either way the PSN version is a total ripoff.

  • Thanks for all the PSP support.

  • Also @117

I agree. I bought DAO Ultimate Edition for $30 at my gamestop as well. Don’t buy the PSN version.

  • Still no infamous 2 avatars :'(

  • Pretty good update as it has some new LBP2 DLC! :)

Oh, and you guys did a great work with the timing. The Store updated quickly today!

  • Seriously!! All I am asking for here is the LA Angels MLB avatar! WHAT IS THE HOLD UP!?!?! Just release the last batch of MLB avatars for crying out loud!

  • Someone is having problems trying to download the 39th episode of Qore? Here there appeared the download link ..

  • Well, so much 4 this week…. Wish we could see the rest of the Mega Man series as a digital download. I mean, we already have 1-3. Why not 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8? Heck, we have Mega man X 1 why not 2-6? I scoop them all up in a heart beat. I guess somebody doesn’t think my money is worth very much (Wink wink Sony!) Give the people what they want and they will shell out the cash!!! BTW, CAN’T Wait 4 Sept. Example: RE4, RECVXHD, and BOF4! I still have my copy of BOF4 but I’ll buy a copy for on the go! Sorry 4 the rant X D

  • I wish Tecmo’s first 3 Fatal Frame series could be released on the PlayStation 3. Stupid Tecmo had to put their Fatal Frame series on the Wii after that!

  • Dragon age is way to much for the base game.

The change from yellow to some yellowish orange didn’t help the +icons.

And for this weeks plus release, since it is a new month we can still expect dlc and add-ons? I know you post a list a couple weeks ago, but it was split between months. So please just release the plus for one month.

  • pass… but the city dynamic theme sounds gr8

  • Also how did last weeks section 8 count as a plus bonus when you had to actualy buy something to get it?
That made no sense to me.

  • 2/5 for this update
psn+ stock is not so good.
@127: the free psn+ theme is very ugly only 900k to dwl.

My idea: REMOVE PLAYSTATION STORE AND USE STEAMS.

  • i want crash bash !

  • Well, another week another store update. I’m sort of really dissapointed this week (again.) It’s rather small even among other weekly updates this year. However, it seems that the people over at Sony America just don’t know what the hell they are doing. Though I’ve been preeching that for a while now. So, where to start?

Dragon Age: Origins. Who’s, bright idea was it to set the digital download price at thirty dollars ($30.00 USD.) Because, that is just bad buisness. What is it with the gaming industry recently? SquareEnix, just released Final Fantasy: Tactics for the Iphone at fifteen dollars ($15.00 USD) which is complete herrasy! It’s called “bad” buisness, and what it does is drive away loyal customers, potential customers, and kills buisness. It’s either you all don’t care or you are have zero buisness sense.
Anyway. For thirty dollars ($30.00 USD) you can buy the “ultimate” edition and in most cases even cheaper depending on your luck or the store. Still. For a digital download I am dissapointed by this pricing.

    — End of Part:01 —

  • That EA Sports Season Ticket thing sounds horrible and is overpriced.

  • On the topic of “digital downloads” though. Lets talk about something I am pleased about.

Warhammer 40k: Great arcade style fun and at a “reasonable” price. Hear that? “Reasonable”. Learn that word. I’d expect people working in such an intensive industry as this to know how, to bring in customers, apease customers, and know what people want. Hopefully this game brings some new blood into the series. I hope it works. Game looks good (considering what it is.)

    — End of Part:02 —

(I really disslike these hindering word limits.)

  • At this point all I can say is if you’re holding back on the PSone stuff for a huge release eg: Japan’s recovery release list, so be it. I swear at this point you guys have to have a good…no, wrong word, GREAT 4-5 ready to roll on out, judging by the ratings being approved days/weeks ago. Do eeeeeet! >_<;;;

  • Anyway. Lets talk about supposed DLC, and Avatars. This just leaves me shaking my head. Where are the avatars? Talk about dissapointing. I wish I could talk more about them, but considering this week’s lack of content it’s as bad as the lack of PlayStation Portable content… Okay. Nothing as bad as that. Still. Where are the avatars? You have to keep pushing them out. Baseball, football, video game characters. Doesn’t matter. Be diverse. Now to downloable content. I’m happy to see Brink get something, and it’s “free” (well, atleast for two weeks as the rumors say.) Also we finally get some Gundam content for Dynasty Warriors: Gundam3 and we’re being charged for missions? Even a dollar for singleton missions is pushing it, but five dollars for one character? This is like Mortal Kombat all over again? Talk about a bad call. I love Gundam, but considering I would have to pay five dollars for one character is ridiculous. Not to mention that Dyanasty Warriors: Gundam2 had all free mission DLC. This is tragic and unecessary.

    — End of Part:03 —

  • Son of a dodonga! When is the Patapon 3 DLC going to be available in the US store????????

  • Unfortunately there is (again) just too much missing in content. No, PlayStation Portable content, PSone digital release content, and the list continues, but why continue to rub salt in loyal fan and customer wounds? As someone also pointed out about the EA pass. Just seems over-priced, but honestly. It feels like most of the supposed DLC is either shaky at best, over-priced, or both (sadly.)

I really am a hopeful and optamistic though. I do, hope that every week there is something postitive to see in these updates, but all too often there just is not enough to speak of. I just really hope that someone within Sony wakes up, and smells the kibble. Because, honestly the whole digital market is coming to a boil point soon, and I get the feeling that consumers are going to start pushing back and may even throw a few punches. Netflix again is just such a prime example.

Here is a toast to a more positive update next week.

  • I want a Christina Lee theme!! And she deserves Employee of the Month!

  • When is the bleach soul resurrection demo coming out?

  • I guess my PSP is a brick now?

  • Rip-Off Artist..

  • LBP2, Level kit, Trophies? gonna get regardless but nice to know.

  • So i used to be a big time ps3 supporter. I have 3 systems, two of which are the 60gbs. But week after week sony is losing my support. The kinect is way better than the Move when it doesnt have to be. Sony could so step up their game, but week after week is disappointment. 2011 so far is a sad year for Sony, lets hope second half goes better.

  • If this was said already i apoligize i did’t read all the comments, mostly beacuse when i seen the piss poor “update”for the PSP i went right too comment.:-)

  • ehhh.. nothing worth logging off of Final Fantasy XI online for yet again..

starting to see content i already own on PS+ again.. im leaning more and more toward not re-up’ing my sub at the end of the year..

i just don’t care for the ps mini’s and you guys are really trying to push those lowsy games on a console that’s supposed to be the true hd experience..

their just not my cup of tea i guess..

  • What about a great PS one classic Future Cop L.A.P.D.? It’s in the european store, is it possible to bring it to the USA store?

  • GGod0 no trophies
ill pass not buy no dlc without trophies
i didnt buy marvel because no trophies
    epic fail

  • @+ niayred today i seen it in the stores
