  • Original Angry Bird buyers:
Have you tried going into your Account Management, going to your download list, and re-d/ling Angry Birds that way? Since the bad version was taken off, but will still show the purchase in your download history, shouldn’t you be able to re-download it for free?
That may be confusing; Since the only version of Angry Birds on the Store is the fixed version, have you tried to re-download it from your Download List, under your Account Management in the XMB?

Love@Dead Block zombies doing the Monkey dance during Rock-n-roll sections.
Not happy with the Limbo price tag, even with my PS+ discount. If it were at 9.99 it’d be a no brainer, but 11.49 seems a little steap for a game that’s only 94Mb

  • @#7 and #18 Can you post back and let us know if Boarder Land have a expiration date on it. Thanx

  • Back to the Future: The Game – Episode 5: OUTATIME when going be out on PS3? lol any know?

  • yay angry birds is back…but wy was it removed?was it cause of te bugs?
    plz reply

  • @89 you could try what #99 said go under account management or on the psn store and re download angry birds and update it with the new version

  • lol @ people wanting FFVI. Why on earth would you buy the inferior PS1 port? It’s almost as bad as people who play Chrono Trigger on PS1.

Of course, if you have a PSP, just play FFIVCC, since IV is the best game and CC is the best version. IMO of course.

  • I want Breath of fire 3 and 4 added pleaseeeee luv those classics

  • @101 yes they took it off because of crashes and freezing issues if you purchased it before im thinking you can re download it and it will update it with the new version

  • BTW Angry Birds is NOT just an update and a re-publish. As another poster already pointed out, it’s made by a different company than the terribad version that was up before.

  • why would borderlands have an expiry date?

  • It’s not updated if you redownload it. Tried it already

  • Ah, sorry then, Wright. EVERYONE IGNORE COMMENT 99. My ignorance fails :*-(

  • Definitely picking up Borderlands. Been looking for a deal on that for a while.

  • @106 ah ok thanks for pointing that out the new version better work lol

  • Solid-Snake-Eyes

In my download list it says Angry Birds by Chillingo LTD. I hope Rovio got their money back from those guys, they did a terrible port but Rovio is also to blame for accepting it in that state and then releasing it for sale.

  • @107 cause I bought Assassin Creed 2 and it have an expiration date.

  • ThreeLeggedFreak

What a horrible update. Where are the PS3 Retail games? PS1?

  • @107 exactly it won’t have a expiration date god of war 1 and 2 is still available too buy so I doubt Borderlands is going away any time soon

  • Solid-Snake-Eyes

Where did you go Grace, please help out the original Angry Birds purchasers here.

  • Seriously, Where’s Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3 DLC? Xbox has it, Koei’s facebook lists it as release for today on Ps3 and xbox, it’s only 3 items, it’s not like it was a huge thing to forget….

  • @114 why the hell would a digital store update mention anything about retail releases?

  • @116 I’ve been following the Store for about 3 years, never once have I seen Grace post a reply.

  • @MarioGamer159 i feel your pain

  • @117: I totally agree. I feel cheated.

  • GET2DAACHOPPAAAA

The people who bought the original Angry Birds needs their money back.

  • Solid-Snake-Eyes

    @119 I have.

  • @122 people who bought the original should email the publisher Rovio Mobile and Sony and ask them about it

  • @123 I have seen her reply too

  • Solid-Snake-Eyes

@124 maybe we should first confirm that the new version is actually better than the old one. I haven’t seen anyone post about it yet.

  • Limbo? played that boring crap on my xbox. Sick and tired of old xbox hand me downs. We want new or add something to the game to make it worth the wait! The rest of the update looks decent.

  • @107 i think they say about the expiration date for the price, the normal price of borderlands is $29.99 and only this week is for $14.99, @113 i bought assasins creed 1 & 2 from the store and check a few minutes ago and they dont have expiration date.

  • @126 I am sure we will found out soon if the new version actually works without crashes

  • Picked up Boarderlands, was hard to pass up at $15 with all the DLC.

That Dead Block DLC on the same day it releases is such BS…seriously. Wasn’t really interested in the game but with no online and that blatant same day DLC money grab, I now know to avoid it.

Also liking the discounts on the Dynamic Themes. Have no problem paying $1.00 for the ones I am interested in.

I remember playing that Guerilla War game at arcades back in the day…playing that Mini for a few mins brought back some memories!!

  • THE MAIN REASON THE XBOX 360 AND XBOX LIVE KEEP KICKING SONYS BUTT IN SALES AND POPULARITY?

THE LACK OF CROSS GAME VOICE CHAT AND A PARTY SYSTEM ON THE PS3!!!!!!

WHEN WILL SONY STOP IGNORING THE FACTS AND RESCUE THE PS3 FROM AN EARLY DEMISE BY IMPLEMENTING THESE MISSING CRUCIAL COMMUNITY FEATURES?

IS CROSS GAME VOICE CHAT NOT POSSIBLE ON THE PS3? WHY DON’T YOU COME CLEAN WITH THE COMMUNITY SONY AND ADDRESS THIS GIGANTIC PINK ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM?

  • @131 I don’t give a damn myself about cross game chat never have cared if Sony ever added it just a waste of time I don’t care too talk too people about another game or anything else while I am concentrating on the game im playing

  • @130 the simple fact that Dead Block has no online co op is a no sale for me very stupid choice by the publisher/developer of the game maybe they will add it later but, for now no purchase for me

  • LIMBO = An old year old 2 hours long overpriced title, I´ll wait until it is $4 as it takes the same road as Braid.

DEAD BLOCK = A mediocre, stupid first day DLC, more stupid no online gameplay title.

Nothing for me to spend my dough here.

  • @131 I like too talk too people in the game im playing in I don’t feel like talking too people who are playing a totally different game at the same time I wanna concentrate on the game im playing

  • @131
Haven’t you been posting that on all new blog posts for the passed week? Seems like I’ve seen that comment at least 6 times, maybe it wasn’t you posting, but for sure the exact same comment. -SHUT UP ABOUT IT ALREADY-

On a side note; Downloading the Borderlands Full Game Trial to see if I like it. I understand the reviews have, generally, been quite favorable, but the last real FPS I’ve played was Classic Duke Nukem….so I’m not sure if I’ll enjoy it. Thoughts, anyone?

  • @134 agreed Limbo I will wait on that game and Dead Block = no Online Co Op Epic Fail

  • @136 I loved borderlands, I already bought it and all dlc on xbox, before i ever had a ps3 or else i’d jump at it, but it’s a great shooter, with great rpg elements, generally open areas with guns with stats and different mods from the drops and etc, plus level and diablo style skill trees etc, very good deal for 15$

  • @136 Yeah I pretty sure that he is the same guy who posts about cross game chat all the time very tired and annoying

  • Limbo. Finally.

  • Vanguard!

    My favorite old arcade game!

And it’s a perfect conversion, too.

  • @luiginut one thing si FF IVCC and other FF VI, FF VI is the best game in the series and the PS1 port is very well done. I already own all the FF for PSP and all of the in terms of story are much lower than FF VI.

  • Great update, gonna try out that demo of Limbo. SNK is crazy selling those “classic” games at that price

  • *sigh* no updates for me this time and I’m still waiting for my Gex 2 PSone classic.(I’m still waiting) -_-

  • I meant that SNK (neo geo station) games are really overpriced

  • Solid-Snake-Eyes

The guys at neogaf seem to be on the Angry Birds story. Hopefully this goes somewhere.

  • I think PS+ is quite possibly the worst thing Sony has ever done with it’s gaming consoles; Not only does it routinely fail to deliver with it’s “superior” sales/discounts/whatever, it has created a rift within their own community. Not a very good move in my opinion.

First off, the sale prices people pay for used to be free (and the same!) for everyone across the board. Now, well, you pay to get a better deal? Is that how deals work?

Secondly, when non-PS+ members see something they want on sale a thought goes through their minds, “Well, if it was that PS+ price for me then I might get it, but I’m not a member. And why should I have to pay more to get something for less?” It happens with me quite frequently. Especially last week with the Summer Sale. Instead of purchasing 5 games, I ended up with 0. But if I was getting the PS+ Price then I would’ve ended up with 5. Five sales lost happened instead.
