It’s the first day of summer and the PlayStation Store has some great updates for everyone today. More “Welcome Back” offers from EA are available in PlayStation Plus, and they include great discounts for 3 on 3 NHL Arcade, Madden NFL Arcade and The Masters Eagle Pack for Tiger Woods 2012. Alien Zombie Mega Death, available for $7.99, is the new PS3 downloadable game this week. And for those of you with PlayStation Move and/or a 3D-enabled television, you’ll want to try the Virtua Tennis 4 demo (which supports both Move and 3D!). Was just in the store and noticed there are MLB avatar’s. When is it going to be possible for me to get an Orioles avatar? Also on that note, it will be the bird right? I think the bird look’s much better than the “O’s” on the alternate caps.

Well, I wasn’t planning on buying it, but I can’t even see Bionic Commando Rearmed in the PSN Store. The second one is there, but the first isn’t. When I click the $5 promotional banner it says “Your account cannot access this content”, which makes NO sense.
Capcom died in my mind when they added additional DRM to already encrypted PSN files. It was fun while it lasted, playing Zack and Wiki and such.
Crappy update is crappy. Thanks for keeping up your standards Sony. -_-

What a pathetic “update”. I guess since everyone is on PS Plus now, we don’t get good updates concerning discounted and free Plus exclusive stuff? Just more overpriced DLC for games we probably do not own.
DLC is getting ridiculous. Every game seems to want to nickel and dime you anymore with get this or get that or worst yet buy this and have an advantage. This is what is going to kill gaming like in the late 80’s early 90’s. games are starting to cost well over $100 each once all the DLC is figured in. you pay $60 then buy 4 more characters for mortal kombat to a total of $90 then a few months later they add more for another 5 bucks a pop. So lame.

Where is Dungeons and Dragons Daggerdale? It came out May 24th on the other console and I thought PSN was trying to catch back up, but no on a game that is about a month old on the other system. An update would be nice here on this. Not to mention other games that we still haven’t seen like Section 8 Prejudice which is also already out on the other console. Are we just going to miss these games?

@337 Then they sell a version of the game offering the dlc for free with purchase and we, who paid for it, feel like we got shafted. Not very fair. I will just wait to buy games 6 months after they come out and get me that dlc for free as a perk to buy it. DLC for mk, 5 original costumes for 5 bucks, then one character for 5 bucks, what a rip. And also they should have it where when you buy a game and get like an exclusive skin or something that it should not be for purchase later.
*insert obligatory inquiry here about why we still haven’t received Crash Commando or Alien Zombie Death free via PS+ like we were supposed to back on April 26th*

BTW, Can you fix the laggy servers SONY? Ever since PSN has come back, servers are laggy and games crash sometimes. Bad company getting unplayable w/ all the lag. There wasnt an issue before the servers went offline. I’d much rather see the servers optimized than crappy PS store releases.
oh, and I too will chime in on the “are we still getting Crash Commando free or what?” sentiment – was looking forward to getting that right before the outage …
