As part of PlayStation Network’s ‘Welcome Back’ Program, PlayStation Home will be offering an enormous package to all players as a way of saying “thank you” to our community for your ongoing support. Today we will begin rolling out the first phase of this customer appreciation program, which will include 100 free items, two personal spaces, and an exclusive game available for all users to download for 30 days. Here’s what we will be giving you (and when):
100 virtual items: The 100 free virtual items package will be available starting today from the Central Plaza kiosk. This huge package includes popular clothing and furniture items and has been made possible thanks to our 3rd Party partners – including Lockwood Publishing, Heavy Water, Codeglue, Konami, Mass Media, Digital Leisure, LOOT, and Hellfire Games.
Two personal spaces: The Dragon’s Lair and the Mansion Garage – a medieval abode based upon Digital Leisure’s classic game and a luxurious, premium personal space never before released to the PlayStation Home community – will be available to all players today from the Central Plaza kiosk.
Ooblag’s Alien Casino: This is an exclusive game that will be published later this month and will be available via the PlayStation Home Navigator. Enter this interstellar casino and try your hand at Ooblag, a multiplayer game of craps…with a twist. Winners will be rewarded by being transformed into extraterrestrial high rollers while losers will be punished severely by Raaksu, the casino’s ruthless Pit Boss. As an added bonus, players that access the Ooblag Alien Casino space will be rewarded an active item version of the Ooblag game that can be played in their personal spaces.

To all people having trouble with welcome back game downloads. I had the same problem friday, inc dl then went back into store and lost free game link #1, of course I panicked but called ps support and was able to resolve issue. try this first then call ps support if dosen’t provide resolution. from XMB: psn>account management>transaction management, from here check dowload history, if the game you tried to download is in there you should be able to re download it, if not back out 1 goto services list under scea promotion is your welcome back package links, if the game didn’t get downloaded you should still be able to access it from here. hope this helps some people. Btw sony wtf is up with our free movie selection???? Ghostbusters, FF spirits within, and Bad Boys??? Way to show your appreciation, you cheap mfrs. Thannnxxx so much.

how long did it take y’all to dload the 2 games? I started mine at like 1pm and its still dloading the first game.
I can’t get any of the 2 free games. I did the XMB >> PlayStation Network >>Account Management >>Transaction Management >> Services List >> SCEA Promotions thing and still no scea promotions was on there. I haven’t downloaded any of the free stuff because I can’t get to them and that means everything.

To dload free games u gotta go to playstation store, then click on the welcome back tab, then click on playstation plus and hit “get now”. After u do this, go on and click free ps3 games and then BAM, the games will be shown
I was hoping we could pick our own clothes. Like from “threads”. But it’s free so thank you PSN. I love free movies and games too. Keep it up.

Hey Locust, how about addressing the received item freeze issue that is currently plaguing a LOT of Home users. With E3 coming up, quite a few people won’t be able to get the rewards because of this problem.

I like the casino idea. Maybe it can be further improved by actually allow people to bet and win Home credits.
My son went on his account and when he selected “free ps3 game 1 and 2” he didn’t get anything. Now they’re gone from the welcome back package page. What happened??? Is this a bug that needs to be fixed??

thoes error are being a nucens it took me 5 houre just to get 2 of the welcome back pack game, i love the work sony done to bring back servise and i thank u but the detail of the error is verry anoying.

anybody else having an issue with downloading InFamous? I’ve tried 3 times now. I get as far as 89% download, then it just sits and alternates between saying downloading and pending. even left the system on over night, and it never went past that point
I’ve been an error message when trying to download all the welcome features…SMH! The option to download the content has also disapeared!
I feel if sony was sincere with this welcome back program, then they should let you chose which games you want. as for the movies that i have seen a hundred times! wow just 3 choices of old movies! come on sony!

(Just so everyone knows if you were to be at the kiosk in playstation home around 5pm PST to 7pm PST you would of gotten your items with no problem)
Also keep in mind some of your items will go to the storage area.
And for people saying that you have the free games LOOK at the playstation PLUS for more free games to use XD not that hard to do.
So yeah….. I’m done. {Peace} i guess.

wtf is this, its took me 9 hours to get to 75% download for infamous and thats my first downloaded game
I found the easiest was to try and just activate the free games…(not the picking part)…then do the whole go through manage account etc. also if you get an error while you are in the store wait 10 seconds (i thought it was a crock when people told me that) instead of trying again right away. I have all my games….now onto the home error problem
so if you are still having problems….wait a couple days and try again…I mean how many people are trying to get their games…millions and millions at the same time.
