To those having problems with Welcome Back. Best suggestion is to wait at least a day.
The reason for the errors is that millions of people are trying to redeem the same content as you.
The “Servers” that allow you to download these things are flooded with so many people causing errors.
Just wait a bit and you’ll get your stuff.
You can still get your stuff now but you’ll have to fight with the error codes until it works.
To those that had their welcome back pages “disappear”:
Go to the XMB and under the PlayStation Network column, go to Account Management>Transaction Management>Services List>SCEA Promotions to download the game for that first slot.
For PlayStation Plus:
Account Management>Transactions Management>Service List>PlayStation Plus to activate.
These instructions are only if you got an error while redeeming the free games/plus through the store and had the pages disappear.
I followed the instructions for the two free games but after I picked them I can’t find them anywhere. What is up with that??? where can I find them? the icons disappeared as if the system recognized that I picked them. Sony better really make it up to us, not just sale dreams. it’s been a month.

I tried downloading the games in the welcome back package but all I got were error messages, then the options disappeared from the screen, now I can’t even log into the store. Wtf?!
This blog stated previously that all content would be released in the order it was to have originally published, which means Outland should have been in the FIRST store update, but now there have been two, and there’s still nothing but a video promising release on April 26. What gives? Is it now one of your “special E3 publishes”? If so, that’s just ridiculous! It’s been up on XBL for 39 days, what’s the advantage of holding it back?
How come this PS Store update took away some items from Wednesday’s update… in particular Sam and Max Full Bundle for 19.99, originally 29.99, but now it costs 34.99??? wtf????
Also, this is one of the problems with the internet today. If everyone would actually take the time to read the comments instead of voicing their own opinion saying they are getting error messages instead of contributing to Sony’s server problem as it is, things might be going a little smoother. The first post with directions is #16. No reason for 300+ comments saying I do not know what to do.

This is what happen and i need help, i went to PSN Store and i went to the Welcome Back section there where 4 boxes, i saw that the first one said Free PS3 Games 1, that was the first one i saw and the first one i went into, i didnt saw the other options, I press X and there were the options of games and i box that said Free PS3 game 1, so i press in that box and download it, but i didnt choose a game i said too my self “im going to see the other options and go to youtube to see a gameplay for each one, i press O to go back but the box disappear!!! i didnt do the same with the free ps3 game 2, but i only download one game,Please help!!
It’s a shame what you guys doing to Brazil, I had to create a new account to play PSN, I lost all my progession, my trophies my levels just because Sony doesn’t support Brazil and eventually I couldn’t recover my account because of that so please Sony, think about it, USA is not the only country in the world!
