  • YA RIGHT IS IT GONNA BE THIS WEEK THIS YEAR OR NEXT LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE WHY CANT U KEEP A DEADLINE?

  • i want my download list NOW!

  • guys they said by the end of the week not wensday.. so just hold on for a couple of days.

  • thanks sony, i really hope so :) VIVA LA PLAYSTATION!

  • I know Jesus missed his deadline for the end of the world
But you’re taking this whole WWJD thing kinda far =/

  • LuiguiPR says “that’s not cool”: tipical Sony, another day another LIE. Is the beginning of month and no Ps Store. Lets see how you are going to pay me back from my expired code.

  • THIS ALL STARTED CUZZ SONY TOOK A FEATURE THAT I PAID $600 FOR THE OPTION TO PUT ON A DIFFERENT OS, SO SOME KID FIGURES OUT HOW TO DO IT, SONY SUES AND FOR THIER COMPLETE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE NOT ONLY PSN WAS ATTACKED BUT S.O.E WAS ALSO ATTACKED WITH 2500 NAMES AND ACCOUNT NUMBERS POSTED TO THIER SITE. AS A RESPONSE TO THIER LOUSY PR WORK, THE HACKERS ARENT TO BLAME THEY SHOULD BE COMMENDED FOR STICKING UP FOR EVERY PLAYSTATION OWNER WHO WANTS WHAT THEY PAID FOR. iF THE MACHINE IS CAPABLE OF RUNNING HOMEBREW WHY DOESNT IT?

  • GET2DAACHOPPAAAA

Sony cannot keep a deadline to save their life.

  • AND NO THEY SAID BY THE END OF THE MONTH

  • @1756 Lol but no man can predict the end of the world… Well they can but it’ll end up to be bull…

  • you are so completeky off track so you are saying its great they broke the law and stole 77 million users information and that is worth a congratulation i realy think not

  • AND 4 GARBAGE GAMES TO PICK FROM WHAT A JOKE

  • YA ITS TOTALLY WORTH IT SHOULD WE ALL SUE SONY FOR FALSE ADVERTISING? CUZZ LAST I CHECKED THEY STILL HAVE COMMERCIALS SAYING THE STORE WORKS AND DURING THE OUTAGE THEY STILL ADVERTISED THE PSN AND LIE LIE LIE SOME MORE YOU WOULD THINK THE NUMBER ONE ELECTRONICS DEALER IN THE WORLD COULD DO A BETTER JOB AND NOT CONSTANTLY STEAL FEATURES OFF MY SYSTEM.

  • @radar427

He wasn’t sued for running home-brew. he was sues because he showed how to do it on the internet so everybody can pirate games. He illegally sold his home-brew that pirated DLCs, Games, Movies, And premium services.

  • @1758 Wrong. By SONY stopping custom firmware it allows cheaters! Hackers shouldn’t be on PSN. But yeah do what you want outside of PSN. You PAID for the console, NOT online, you don’t own it anymore than you own this website.

  • By Sony NOT stopping***

  • @1766 good point
    @1765 true

  • i wish i could rate 1/5 on this blog post more than once.

  • @1765 Custom firmware allows you to do anything.. Even though GeoHot doesn’t pirate, other sources provide tools to do this…

  • Im sure there a patch to stop pirates and cheating sony was just mad somone got passed it, i dont like cheaters either just want the system i paid for is all. And when i bought it u could put lynix on it, but watchout sony cant keep nuthin nice, what happened to ps2 playability lasted a year n the stopped making the nice systems because of reduced ps2 sales. well they should stop making that antique anyway

  • Halfo of the PSN population cries over a store……..?

  • It’s amazing to me that they’re boasting they’re gonna have full functionality by the end of the week, and yet I still can’t sign into the network on their website. “Site Maintenance” Tell me another one Sony….

  • @1771 they didnt meet their deadline, they basicalled lied to us again.im not crying,im just disappointed in sony.

  • i cant even log on the psn right now.it doesnt log me in and it says suggested actions.

  • And this lack of communication is the reason for the most recent attacks there should be a daily progress report on here but sony dont have time for us

  • good old pat cant even reply to ANYONE!

  • Ummmm a deadline and a target date are different. A deadline has a set date and a target doesn’t. And in terms of the hacking it’s only going to make people work harder to crack the system again.

  • @radar427 ya i couldnt agree with you more.they dont meet their deadlines yet they rarely ever update us.there were times during the psn outage that they made us wait 3-4 days untill they gave us an update.also, its not the first time that they wait till the last second to update us on whats going on.they dont realise how much theyre not helping themselves and how bad they make themselves look.

  • Hey guys , I just read that the “postponed maintanence ” will start tonight, so there are some high hopes that they could bring the store back tomorrow

  • No any man can predict the end of the world and be right you just need a plan of action like against hackers and gadar427 oops typo oh wait no it’s not

  • i think the anger among the users would subside if they could keep us updated i understand it takes time, but they act like they never built a server before

  • Just google Playstation Store Im sure yall will at least find some info

  • It must take time to make sure the servers can handle a hundred million users

  • Really u call names go to school kiddie adault talkin here

  • its not new to have about 88million users on psn

  • Seems all the NON SONY sites get the info 1st. what’s up with that?

  • Again, you’re all off base (except for Radar, they have a brain). You are all neglecting to realize one very, very important fact and that is that Sony has painted the biggest hacker bullseye in recent years.

They have stood up against the hackers and claimed to have created one of “the most secure networks on earth.” Let me just go ahead and say right now that they are lying folks, guaranteed…any system that is as open as PSN is will always have weaknesses.

So, do not be surprised if the whole thing goes down again in 2 weeks.

  • sorry bud but i just don’t think it is right to go on sonys website on a sony blog about restoration of the sony store and then say the hackers were right for commiting a crime wich was not victimless just look at you your pissed it is still down that is because of the hackers derp da derp

  • @radar427 exactly…they act unprofessional yet they expect us to be patient and jolly.

@midknight24 rumour plz?knowing sony,it wont come back untill the last day of the week or will be delayed yet again.ill be laughing when they go at E3 and have to explain their failures and how the playstation store is still not back up after 6 weeks.

  • Think of it this way, Its wednesday, that means there are only 2 days left in the week. Playstation store can’t be that far away

  • Well those are rumors im betting, speculation at best, untill we have a big long video detailing the store and welcome back crap then its not gonna be on,

  • If someone can build it another can break it.

  • my money is on saturday about 11pm they will start

  • @anonymouse84 tell me something i dont know,smart guy?

  • Seal Team you are either a Sony employee or one of the most foolish consumers on earth. Cracking the PS3 to run Linux is NOT illegal, and indeed it was an act to benefit all PS3 users.

Personally, I am loading up my system with all the games I’ll need and will then be abstaining from PSN; because, they are not done with Sony yet I am sure.

  • no 10:30 latest but never as late as 11

  • You know I have seen a lot of comments on here about backwards compatibility, and I am wondering are there that many people who really still play the ps2 games? Seems like watching a VHS on a 60 inch DLP television. Don’t get me wrong some of those games were awesome…ten years ago. Seems like a crap excuse to bash the ps3 to me.

  • @NInjaNabs… What would you like to know? I can’t possibly guess as to what someone who employs rhetoric may or may not know. Come at me /b/ro!

  • I get that but to say sony didnt deserve an eyeopener idk i would hope they would treat us better after this, i believe its the best system out there they really need to work on thier pr skills

  • Regardless they are gonna have to relive this entire years failure. You guys know that is gonna be brought up at E3. Theres no way around it. SONY knows it (or should). Im sure there will be mobs of questions, and all that jazz, but lets face it, Sony also knows if they go to E3 without the store being up, they would probably lose a lot of their devs, seeing as how E3 is the BIGGEST electronics event of the year. Sony Im sure has thought of this as well. Just relax, they will have the store up before E3
