I want the teeth…
Resistance 1 was amazing online, one of the best online games ever. R2 wasn’t that good, dont know why but the online was bad (competitive), although the coop is R2 was the best i ever played, sadly they wont have that kind of coop in R3. Also you said earlier pre-ordering games help developers, i am really curious how? im serious, just asking lol.

I pre-ordered it right after it was announced at Gamestop. I have always been a huge fan of this franchise and if/when you’ll announce a collectors edition I will upgrade to that one.

So no matter what store we order from in Canada we get the Black Ops skin? I’ve ordered it from Best Buy Canada, I won’t get the Hale skin from them?

This whole 'pre-order exclusives' is getting out of hand, what if, god forbid, your a total FAN, do they honestly expect you to shell out for five different copies just to get all the swag ?

Why are developers finding it necessary to do this different bonus from different retailer garbage? What if I want it all? This makes absolutely no sense to me. Can someone help me grasp this ridiculous concept?
I hate this pre-order crap. I don’t really care about skins so much but I hate when the make weapons exclusive to certain retailers, these pre-order bonus’ aren’t too bad but still annoying

Honestly I hate the idea of preorder bonuses!!! What about the people that want all of them? I think it unfair to the players, you should give us a limited edition with a super voucher that would cover them all and possibly something cool like we got with kz3 helghast edition (helmet).
I am SO sick of reading about Preorder bonuses and seeing lavish descriptions of EXCLUSIVE! gear and bells and whistles that will be unlocked through gameplay.
You guys are misusing the word EXCLUSIVE and insulting the entire playerbase. You keep deceiving and abusing your early adopters like this and you will forever damage the notion of Preorder Incentives.
Get off your lazy butts and actually make some simple “Had to be there!” stuff IN ADDITION to the early access perks. Things like truly exclusive alternate skins (skins are great avenues because they’re purely cosmetic and don’t affect gameplay mechanics) and truly exclusive title sets (they’re just text, don’t be stingy), et cetera.
Even early access to eventual paid DLC isn’t exclusivity, but you absolutely cannot say something is exclusive when it unlocks through gameplay for free.
I’ve said it once, I’ll say it a million times.

There is also always a clear “best” incentive, so one retailer pulls in the bulk of the business.
Plus, a lot of times there aren’t incentive lots for small businesses, just major chains.

Insomniac gave people in Europe the chance to have their in the game, and they get 2 different editions to the game (both includes super vouches for ALL PRE-ORDER BONUSES). It would be a crime if Insomniac/Sony don’t release a simular collectors Edition for the States.

Here’s hoping for a “Super Voucher” in a Special Edition version. I think Sucker Punch did people right by including everything with the “Hero Edition” of Infamous 2. Maybe, Insomniac can burrow from them.
Hey Sony, I’m losing my patience with you. All these setbacks and false dates are making me question exactly how much you as a company really value your customers.
I’ve got about 5 new games in the past month that require me to download stupid Online Passes from the PS Store in order to play with friends on them, on top of that I’ve spent a total of $200 waiting for your store to be up. Either you give people a definite date or don’t give one at all, because at this point, your constant delays and inability to be reliable makes for all the more opinion that Sony doesn’t really care.
I mean, what were you thinking? Honestly? “Let’s leave the PS Store unencrypted. They won’t notice.” Your irresponsibility has caused quite the toll on your consumers.
So I say this; If this is how you handle all your customer relations by doing a half assed job and leaving our info insecure, I think you deserve a visit from the BBB.

Are we going to get the collectors edition or is that only for Europe and I’m going to throw this out there and say R2 wasn’t that bad. I greatly enjoyed the whole experience from the single player on to co-op and multiplayer. I just had some issues with the story.

These are very nice and all, but this is totally unfair that Europe gets a Survivor Edition, in which they receive everything. I would be the guy who stands out and pays $150 for that Edition. Like for real. We have been demanding it on Insomniacs Forums for a long time. And we get this, a $60 game. and 5 different places where we should go and buy the game for $60 just to get every bonus. Great Idea SONY, money hog.

i’ve been a huge fan of the resistance since day one and love them! i even picked up R2 again a couple months back to rebeat and reminisce on nathans fight and ‘murder’.
man these are great games, insomniac, and im so stoked about R3. so gonna pre-order at gamestop, guys, this june 1st- payday baby!

This game looks awesome and I’ve seen the gameplay and I’m getting this game for sure. But why would they put the air fuel grenade as an exclusive for pre-ordering? In the other games it was there in story mode as another new weapon to find. I’m getting this but that’s the only thing I’m pointing out.

4 player campaign coop would be amazing. More games need to have this. The AI is never the greatest, and multiplayer is not what it used to be. I enjoy playing online coop with 3 or more of my buddies alot more than a multiplayer room full of screaming kids and crappy rap music blaring the whole time.
Any news if the US is going to be getting any kind of Prestige edition? Something with a collectors piece, more skins, or addition new or old maps? I feel this is one of those games that needs it.
Looking foward to playing the beta next month, and really looking foward to enjoying the 3D in this game. I am hoping to see some popping out in your face, bullets whizzing by ya, no ghosting 3D.

WTF?? If the U.S. does not get the Survivor Edition UK is getting I am going to be very pissed! I would rather take this edition than inFamous 2. I am getting inFamous 2 (not the Hero Edition though, cause I don’t need that stuff), but the Survivor Edition looks amazing!!
hmmmm The only way I would Pre-Order the game, is they change that weak box art of theirs. I mean seriously how NOT creative are they to put that WEAK of box art on a big title game like that. My 5 years old sister can make a better box art that that I mean come on lazy developers
