GameStop has the best pre-order bonus, but a little disappointed overall with the pre-order bonuses, but since it’s Resistance is a such a great series I’ll pre-order it anyway!

what’s so special about this game? I had to force myself through the first one. It felt like one huge train wreck with very little story. I couldn’t even come to play the second one the first one was so bad.
For the love of all things holy and sacred please tell me we are getting the special editions that europe is getting… I love steel book cases and that vinyl disc is just freaking cool… I would straight up go for the survivor edition just because it contains every pre order bonus as well as all of the special edition content in one convienent package.. I get a little annoyed that europe and japan get alot more options when it comes to stuff like this…

Will a platinum from Resistance 2 be useful in any way in Resistance 3. Like what Uncharted did with 1 and 2.
I Am Not Impressed
Amazon for me as I’ll play Resistance 3 for the Single player.
I hate . . . hate . . . hate . . . HATE these darn store-exclusive preorder bonuses. I usually buy special editions of games & strat guides or art books–so I’m already willing to part with some extra bucks in order to get extra stuff. It annoys me to no end that I have to play this ridiculous what-don’t-I-want more game. For me, the clear favorite here is the air fuel grenade–but I know I won’t preorder from Amazon because when you factor in the Reward Zone, Gamer’s Club, and Package Discount offered by Best Buy, preordering a deluxe edition and deluxe strat guide anywhere else would end up costing me an extra $40 or so.
I’d much prefer that you charge me even more, and put these things into a super-DUPER deluxe edition, or in the case of the air fuel grenade and the Hale skin, gimme a hint that we’ll be able to order these from the PS Store in a few months. Or better yet, make them available to Plus subscribers, since I’ve been one since Day One. :)
Y’know, that last thing wouldn’t be too bad an idea for games in general. You already have games which deliver bonus content for PlayStation Home–why NOT have games which deliver exclusive content to Plus subscribers?
If you haven’t played the first 2 I wouldn’t suggest getting the third…. I didn’t play the first one and I felt lost a lot during number 2. I’ll probably end up getting the amazon one since theirs will be cheaper. That necklace is so freakin’ ugly I don’t even want it as a collectible lol. I hope the special edition, assuming there is one has a sweet figure like the 2nd special edition did which is on a shelf in my room ;] I will say that I’ll be disappointed if there is no longer an online coop mode. It was great taking the MMORPG class element and putting it in a FPS. I also enjoyed the big battles so I hope they aren’t trying to go the COD way cause I enjoy the actual war like fire fights with lots of chaos instead of constant camping.
@Wakener I totally agree with you, I hate having to choose. I’m curious how you’re getting that it’ll cost you 40 dollars more if you don’t go with best buy though? I wanted to go with best buy many times but they rarely offer any good deals like amazon does. I’ve gotten 20 dollar credit on a lot of popular games from preordering through amazon. I try to stay away from gamestop since they don’t give away cool physical items like shirts/keychains for games anymore and their online service is slow and costly for shipping and I just don’t care for the company.
So all this bonus stuff requires a psn store code to get right??? funny you push a product and are so hype about it yet you leave out…but you cant redeme your codes sorry..maybe by the end of next month. not tryin to be a downer but seriously how about an update on the status of the store. game looks great btw..loved the first one. just talk about dlc codes when people can use them ..ty
So does this mean you get these also if you preorder the collectors edition from that certain place? Or does this mean there is not gonna be a collectors edition….I’m really hoping there still is because there was so much more stuff in R2’s Collectors edition.

i have never play resistance thinking of all the call of duty games multiplayer. i just want a game for me and my friends that we could just do missions together instead of fighting each other or other players.
Kind of hope the killing machine trophy has been abolished or at least made not to require ranked only games.

I’m a huge fan of RFOM. Best launch game of the PS3 by far. The Co Op campaign, regular campaign and multi player were all awesome. Then in R2 they changed it all up. The campaign was great, but they ruined the multiplayer and there was no Co Op. I hope that R3 returns this title to the top.

Have loved the previous games but with the lack of the online Coop that R2 featured I am not sure I will even pick up this game. Such a disappointment to have the best feature of the previous game dropped in this one.
So is there going to be a CE with this stuff in?

Pre-ordered the game the moment it became available to do so. Can’t wait!.
From what I’ve read and seen so far i can’t say im happy with R3, The story seems to be shooting off from the plot set in the first two (or maby three if you count retribution)
And as for the multiplayer, well, the 60 player battles and the 8 player co op were by far my favorite things about R2, and i was looking forward to seeing how these things were going to be improved in R3, then i hear that both of them are out. So all I can imagen is a very generic multiplayer experience that will become boring very fast. :(
