PlayStation Network is scheduled to undergo maintenance today, from about 8am until approximately 5pm Pacific time. During this time, registration and Account Management will be inaccessible, including the password reset process. While some users may experience difficulty signing in to PSN, the majority of consumers will be able to play online as well as sign in to external sites that require PSN authentication (like this one).
For those asking about the PlayStation Store, we’re still targeting restoration of all services by the end of this month. Contrary to reports, the Store will not be publishing today.
Stay tuned to the PlayStation Twitter feed for updates and a notice when maintenance has concluded.

I dont know about anyone else but sometimes it makes me feel better to vent. So, come on Jeff … you could give us a solid date. Noone likes ur half-a$$ed verbage. Saying stuff like, “targeting restoration of all services by the end of this month” is weak. When you say, “month”, I think you’re referring to the month of May, right?? And if that is the case, then when you say, “end of this month”, you’re talkin’ about MAY 31st, RIGHT?! I don’t think it’s that difficult to give us an EXACT date. BUT if you can’t give us an EXACT date, we should atleast be given the details of the delay!

The welcome back package is a joke. I only want the ALLCLEAR ID Protection. I already have plus and really dont want the 60 day extension and I all ready have the games they are offering.
I’ve seen alot of people saying they can’t get to thier download list. I don’t know if it works the same on a PS3, but
on a PSP you can go to Account Management – Transaction Management – Download List from your PSP your downloads are there.
I hope this helps you folks get what you need.

what happened to the store? i have money on there and would like too use it. but since there are more sheep on these forums then free thinkers i have too wait because the sheep are to weak to take a stand weather it be a corporation or government the people(sheep) always come up short no wonder the world in the mess its in. even though this is just about games here the gamers mindset is to weak for real progress in the game world or the real world and that my people is a real sad thing. keep the people entertained and blind to the truth.

I have a question about the PS3 “welcome back” package, don’t know if you’re aware of this but most of us already have most if not all of the items offered in said package. Yes, it’s great to the new users, but what about those that already have these things?, do we recieve nothing? most of us think it would be better to recieve credit towards 2 games or dlc of choice would be fair. Keep up the good work

For anyone thats complaining about PSN store still down, im sure sony is working around the clock to get it full restored like PSN outage was rememer guys? so just be patience. i would have a more tigther secured PSN store then open for hackers PSN store.

Good lord, the only reason why I even came here to make a comment is because of all the raging, butthurt people that keep making comments that are similar to: “Wow Sony, I sure am disappointed in you. You just keep failing to meet customer’s ends.” First of all, if you took the time to actually look at the welcome back package for all of you ignorant folks. It lets you get 2 free games which otherwise you’d have to buy to even play it. That means less money for Sony, just to make you guys happy. And they’re giving us a month’s free use of PS+, that’s more buzzing for us, less money for them. Even though this whole situation wasn’t their fault, they’re still giving us free stuff to compensate the whole month that they’ve been losing MONEY, while you’ve been going on with your regular life, without playing on your PS3. If you’re still ignorant enough to keep commenting about how much Sony ‘fails’ then just take the shortcut and sell your PS3 for an Xbox 360.

Ok i am really getting tired of all this bull crap. I got homefront and it requires a battle code to level up past lvl 5 so here i am at level 5, sick (medically so cant hang out with friends or go outside) and bored out of my mind because black ops is a piece of crap compared to homefront. and the code expires in a couple weeks so i need to get it entered soon so i dont have to purchase another one. Im glad the servers are back up dont get me wrong but i think that the store should have come up with psn and quirocity servers instead of mlb channel it think it was called or somtin like that

So is playstation store in mantainence still i would like to use $40 PSN cards I bought while Playstation Network was down to buy Escalation and other stuff, I heard a rumor that all PSN cards expire after not used for a certain amount of time is that true?

you can’t redeem your online code because it requires the psn store, which sony EU said won’t be up tomorrow either.
Well its not Sony’s fault, its all the crappy teachers out there that don’t know how to teach their students the proper way to setup a server and to secure a network. Today most of them are there for just a paycheck and that’s a big shame. POOR POOR SONY they got all those poor people that don’t have a clue what their doing.

Sony, get your (DELETED) together.
I understand some things are out of you control, and I also don’t blame Sony for any of this “hacking” business. But Sony, there is NO excuse for why the store is still down. Don’t think that everything is fine and well because this network is back up. Sure, it’s nice to be online, but surely you haven’t forgotton one of your main sources of money.
