PlayStation Network is scheduled to undergo maintenance today, from about 8am until approximately 5pm Pacific time. During this time, registration and Account Management will be inaccessible, including the password reset process. While some users may experience difficulty signing in to PSN, the majority of consumers will be able to play online as well as sign in to external sites that require PSN authentication (like this one).
For those asking about the PlayStation Store, we’re still targeting restoration of all services by the end of this month. Contrary to reports, the Store will not be publishing today.

I could care less about the free games. I want what I paid for. And I could care less about online gaming. Once again, they are “targeting” restoring all services by the 31st. They didn’t confirm it.

when i changed my password before signing in to this website (i already changed my password on my ps3) it took me to my account page and i entered my socom 4 pro code but my guns and m,aps did not show up on my game did i just lose my code and when will we be able to put codes in on the ps3

They are targeting the end of May. It’s not a promise. Given their record of lies, I don’t expect anything until June or later. I’m angry because they replaced my YLOD fat boy with a slim that won’t take my backups. I have to re-download all the junk I bought. Difficult to do with the store always down.
Sony is only interested in protecting their copyrights and not your rights or private information. The culture of greed at Sony can only be adjusted by firing their idiot CEOs presiding over this unforgivable fiasco!

Ladies and gentlemen there is a simple solution, do not log on until the store is up, just utilize your X-Box and PC games, perhaps a good and proper boycott of all Sony systems might encourage them to meet their customers needs a little faster

I just remembered the Xperia Play is going to be available May 26. For those that have not heard of the Xperia Play it is the first Playstation Phone powered by Android OS. It comes with 4 or 5 games but not very good games. I was planning on getting this phone and I wont be able to buy games for it until the store is up.

I am a 20 college student. I am very mature for my age. I say they are way to long in the making to get this up and running. Open your eyes! The store has been down for 5 weeks. Don’t tell me you aren’t unhappy. I think you need to grow up… 12 year old.

I must admit this has taken quite a long time to resolve and although I dont usually play my PS3 very much, I have been inconvienced by this ordeal. I say 2 old games, free useless Home junk, and whats left of a 30 day plus subscription really isnt enough compensation, all things considered. I am a die-hard Sony fan, still have both my PS2 and original PS, but this is really testing my patience.
I also think its a bit funny they say they will offer to us identity theft coverage but by the time we actually are able to sign up for it, it could be seriously too late to do any good. By wasting time before giving it to us they are actually releaving themselves of liability since if your theft occurs before the coverage takes effect then they wont have to cover it.
