We temporarily took down the PSN and Qriocity password reset page. Contrary to some reports, there was no hack involved. In the process of resetting of passwords there was a URL exploit that we have subsequently fixed.
Consumers who haven’t reset their passwords for PSN are still encouraged to do so directly on their PS3. Otherwise, they can continue to do so via the website as soon as we bring that site back up.
PLEASE EITHER UPDATE THE STORE OR UPDATE THE BLOG ON WHEN THE STORE WILL BE UPDATED…

Sony, i find it hard to understand how you can’t figure out some very simple tactics, like other companies/services/sites have.
Example, why don’t you integrate an email or SMS alerting system everytime someone logs to my account and being able to log off all activity directly from my PS3 system, (even the lame facebook has this….LOL!.
And you definitely have to use HTTPS and using a strong encryption method, ENCRYPT all of my data, not only credit card, but every single information.
I can stand a higher loading time if i knew that would be for my data/information security.
Such simple steps, that someone would have thought proffesional tech engineers of sony would have already implement on their system….!

C’mon sony, i think its fair you allows your self to have a bit extra time with store now that psn at least run again, but still , we are people who still cant play our games like fifa ultimate team cause we need the store, so for us its like psn still not are up ! i think you has been far to slow now, and this is my first complaigning and im otherwise no geek that just NEED to play, but i think this is far to way out, its over a month i know havent could play my game and thats not good enough, cmon guys with so big a company and your intellegent it would be possible to do it faster then this, from me to sony and nothing bad in this still like you and more than that,

PLEASE HELP! So, my girlfriend has a PSN iD, the breach happened, and I cancelled my email associated with her PSN (my email wasn’t being used regularly; she wasn’t comfortable using her email). Now that PSN is back and passwords need to be reset, she can’t, because I no longer have that email to follow the instructions. Is there any way to add her account to my current email address and PSN iD as a sub-account? She said she doesn’t want to make a new PSN iD because she doesn’t want to lose her trophies.

Sony needs to get there butts in gear and hurry up with the store, before people start to leave Sony. It was great that they opened online play again, but they still need to get the store back up. For the two free game downloads, what do you get if you have all five games already downloaded on your PS3, what dose Sony intend to do for those people, they get nothing for all this time not being able to play online for two to three weeks. This is NOT a good sign for Sony to show how they care for the people that will get nothing but lost time.

Seriously guys I understand this takes time but this is officially ridiculous..and the downloadable welcome back stuff should have been voted on by the community..since its the *community* that makes sony thrive. Can you guys honestly not give us a date for when the PSN store will be back up and running? I don’t play a lot of games online, but it’s nice to have the option to get a new game fast without running to town which is a 30 minute drive for me. I understand the security code is hard to get just right, but come on now really. You guys have been down for way to long.

PlayStation network stated that PlayStation and Qriocity services were back up and ready to be used but to find out they were lying i have been checking all of the services but almost all of them are not up and running yet for example playstation store is no back up yet or online gameplay can somebody tell when these services are back up
