We developed the program as an expression of our gratitude for your patience, support and continued loyalty during the service outage. From all of us at PlayStation, thank you and welcome back!
This package will be made available to all existing registered PlayStation Network and Qriocity users in North America (US and Canada), and will be made available shortly after we have fully restored the service. More specific details about these offers and eligibility requirements will be posted as the services go live.
All PlayStation Network customers can select two PS3 games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

For PSP owners, you will be eligible to download two PSP games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.
- LittleBigPlanet (PSP)
- ModNation Racers
- Pursuit Force
- Killzone Liberation
- A selection of “On Us” rental movie titles will be available to PlayStation Network customers over one weekend, where Video Service is available. Those titles will be announced soon.
- 30 days free PlayStation Plus membership for non PlayStation Plus subscribers.
- Existing PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive an additional 60 days of free subscription.
- Existing Music Unlimited Premium Trial subscription members will receive an additional 30 days of free premium subscription.
- Additional 30 days + time lost for existing members of Music Unlimited Premium/Basic subscription free of charge for existing Premium/Basic members.
- To welcome users Home, PlayStation Home will be offering 100 free virtual items. Additional free content will be released soon, including the next addition to the Home Mansion personal space, and Ooblag’s Alien Casino, an exclusive game.

My question is when we download something from playstation plus, will we loose it when the 30 days is over or have to continue using plus to use it in the future

Wow! I didn´t expect that they will give free games. Good move Sony, and welcome back to our homes. For people that haven´t played inFamous is a MUST download! I will pick Super Stardust and Wipeout, wanted to played them for a long time.
Sony loses nothing to this. All the games offered are games which are old and will never again be sellers. 30 days of PSN+ is just a cheap marketing ploy to get you to buy an entire year. Just think Netflix.
Offer real content or just be honest and tell your customers that you think they’re all dumb pieces of . . . .
And as for getting hacked. I’m kinda doubtful they even were. April has always been the month for doing server maintenence. And with the threat from Anonymous script-kiddies, why not just go down completely for a month and toss the blame on Anonymous to shift focus away from Sony? Takes time to replace an outdated set of servers and with this to focus people away from them, they can take all the time they want.

that is a good selection for newer users but kinda sucks for those that already have most if not all of those games kinda seems like after being so patient many of the users (myself included) are going to get the short end of the stick… with big titles like inFAMOUS and Little Big Planet I would have hoped for all the options to be of that caliber since these are 2 good reasons to buy a ps3 in the first place. Oh well I guess you didn’t have to do anything at all and I should just be happy the network is back but I can’t help but feel a little cheated myself
Wow thats awesome Infamous 2 would be nice to get for free though.
1. Anything and everything can be hacked. Let’s not forget the lion’s share of the vitriol should go to the hackers. But I don’t see anyone begging them for free stuff. They owe us more than Sony on account of they committed a crime.
2. So what if you already own all the games? Now you can have a digital as well as hard copy of some of them! Find a silver lining and quit your entitlement complaining, damn!
3. I’m no Sony fanboy. However, with the 1,000,000 insurance policy I am getting, these free games, and the *possibly* sincere apologies, I feel that Sony has done a good make good job thus far. The only way this could be better would be if they reinstated OtherOS, started making PS3s back compatible again, and if they caught the hackers.
4. Just google “breaches.” Google itself has been hacked. Live has been hacked. Anything can be hacked. That is the world we live in today, where people are buttholes. Deal with it.

Hello ps3 PLEASE READ THIS COMMENT IMPORTANT.I was playing yesterday, btw thx for putting it back on, and was playing modern warfare two. I was on a lobby where a guy had super speed, super jump, and auto aim. I told him how do you have that and he said that it wasn’t taken away. I thought the hacks were taken away. Im not sure but I think his name was DLBPWNAGE.

Watch your mouth with the name calling ok. I dont have to be greatful for nothing. The PS+ members are the ones putting the money in SONYS pockets to help pay for the servers ok. And in return we get 2-5 year old game free once a month. With a few new and great surprises here and there. So if anything the PS+ members should be the ONLY ones being taken care of.

As soon as playstation store is back i’m getting assassin creed 2 dlc content and then downloading all the bonus content we get, along with inFAMOUS and Wipe out + Fury
Even though nothing can really make up for the fact our personal information was compromised, it’s good to see some compensation for the outage.
Now, only this issue were resolved a week ago, before my PS3 went all YLOD on me. I guess I have some time before these deals expire to get it fixed.
