We developed the program as an expression of our gratitude for your patience, support and continued loyalty during the service outage. From all of us at PlayStation, thank you and welcome back!
This package will be made available to all existing registered PlayStation Network and Qriocity users in North America (US and Canada), and will be made available shortly after we have fully restored the service. More specific details about these offers and eligibility requirements will be posted as the services go live.
All PlayStation Network customers can select two PS3 games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

For PSP owners, you will be eligible to download two PSP games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.
- LittleBigPlanet (PSP)
- ModNation Racers
- Pursuit Force
- Killzone Liberation
- A selection of “On Us” rental movie titles will be available to PlayStation Network customers over one weekend, where Video Service is available. Those titles will be announced soon.
- 30 days free PlayStation Plus membership for non PlayStation Plus subscribers.
- Existing PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive an additional 60 days of free subscription.
- Existing Music Unlimited Premium Trial subscription members will receive an additional 30 days of free premium subscription.
- Additional 30 days + time lost for existing members of Music Unlimited Premium/Basic subscription free of charge for existing Premium/Basic members.
- To welcome users Home, PlayStation Home will be offering 100 free virtual items. Additional free content will be released soon, including the next addition to the Home Mansion personal space, and Ooblag’s Alien Casino, an exclusive game.

I didn’t feel we were owed anything short of making up for lost time with stuff like PS+ but now that something is being done I can’t help but feel like others that some of your most loyal consumers are getting left out for already owning the games being offered. To keep this fair to everybody a game like Outland that was supposed to be out while PSN was down really should be added since that ensures nobody owns it.
Damn guys… Now I see the true you. First of all, all of you guys (most of you) were complaining about PSN being down and about wanting to play online and etc. Now PSN is back up. Yet you guys are still complaining. SONY is also giving us some (FREE) items as a “Welcome Back” gift and you guys are still complaining? You guys know SONY isn’t obligated to give you guys anything at all but the Identity theft protection because PSN is FREE. Maybe some stuff to PSN+ users but that’s about it. PSN is up, SONY is giving out stuff. Just STFU, take it or just move to XBL. Hypocrites.

Don´t know what happens if we are in Central America and it only says US, Canada and Mexico in the latin american blog of PlayStation. It says we´ll get 2 free games, but we are out of these areas, what happens also with South America? Wouldn´t be fair, we all waited the same time and suffered the same as everyone else.
Three weeks of PSN, and all I get offered is another two months to my PS+ subscription, and a copy of Modnation Racers for my PSP, because I already own the other 8 games.
Just give me $15 to my wallet instead so I can at least choose something I don’t already own.
I would highly recommend DEAD NATION to all of you Zombie lovers. I already have it and I love it. I guess I’m gonna go with Infamous and LBP cause I don’t know much about the others besides one is a space shooter and the other is a racing game, both of which I don’t get into.
What about games that required subscription like DC Universe Online and FreeRealms?

then you take away my privacy by giving my information up
then you offer me this sad sad list of things that either I (or anyone who actually buys games they like) already own or have no interest in ever owning/playing
The movie store is not available in canada so thats kinda moot for me or anyone north of the border
I am not a playstation plus member and while this trial might have been interesting the fact i lose anything and everything I got from it once the 30 days are up

I already own all PS3 games outside of inFAMOUS (wish Warhawk was there, because I’d love a free download of that).
However, the PSP downloads are beyond awesome, because I really want Pursuit Force and Killzone Liberation.

I will start by saying that Sony should have been more prepared for this. I’m not surprised to hear many playstation users claiming that they will be switching to Xbox. To keep this short I’ll just say this. At least Sony didn’t rush their system release date resulting in a vast amount of unit failure within 1 year. Sony failed due to a malicious person/persons. Microsoft failed by being more concerned with market saturation than the quality of their product.
I’ve been an exclusive Sony Playstation gamer since 1995, and will remain so. If nothing else, look how feverishly Sony is working at making reparations to its customers. What did Microsoft do? Send you a refurb? Gimme a break.
