We’re currently experiencing an extremely heavy load of password resets, and so we recently had to turn off services for approximately 30 minutes to clear the queue.
As such, a large number of people are attempting to change their passwords at the same time, it’s taking longer than expected for all those emails to clear all of the ISPs.
If you’ve requested your password reset, please give it a bit of time to reach your email. Thanks for your patience as we work to get everyone back online.
Why is it saying PSN is not up for DFW area if it shows it green but my ps3 and psp says error on psn sign in

I’m in florida, my psn is working… however, when I try to play multiplayer games it says their servers aren’t available.. so near Flagler beach fl is UP.. for whoever asked for locations a sec ago.

@ Ramage I agree with you any word of when we will receive what we were told we get for the downtime and when the emails for the identity protection will be sent out?
Not up in western us I am in Vegas and have nothing…..Sony PLEASE dont give a time frame if you cant stick to it….this is the second time you said a time frame and have not stuck to it….

The hamsters that SONY bought last week died, that is why the servers are down. All the pet shops are now closed so SONY cannot get the servers back up. The hamster wheels stay empty.
