We’re currently experiencing an extremely heavy load of password resets, and so we recently had to turn off services for approximately 30 minutes to clear the queue.
As such, a large number of people are attempting to change their passwords at the same time, it’s taking longer than expected for all those emails to clear all of the ISPs.
If you’ve requested your password reset, please give it a bit of time to reach your email. Thanks for your patience as we work to get everyone back online.
Got to love it. They say “Hey we are bringing it back up today” and not even 24 hours later it crashes. Im tired of looking at an 11 pound paper weight. I only have online games and the ones I have that are not online, I need access to the PS store to redownload. This is why I am getting sick of Sony’s BS right now.
If anyone wants to add me when PSN goes back up for the second time, feel free to do so. :D
aw man was about to play mk online until it said “server is down try again” then i log out try to log back in then the same happy message i seen for month say down for maitenance????? ah well it will be done soon.thank you for the hard work sony

damn to many ppl on playstation i see why they are having problem to many are trying to change password at once that can cause a overload in the system.
What happened to 30 mins -_- it’s been about an hour almost
I’m still on psn, like I’ve sad in previous posts… but not able to play black ops, blur, mag, etc… I haven’t been able to do multiplayer since they got psn back online. I’m on psn, getting friend requests as we speak.. my girl is in the next room and her ps3 says UM. How is this possible? lol

30 minutes not 30 days. PLEASE dont take forever like the outage where you said it was going to be a full day or 2 before the network is back and ended up being 3 and a half weeks. i never loose faith in you sony. Always will buy from you :)
yo chill, think about it rationally theres like millions of people who just got their service back and are trying reset passwords at the sametime, large amounts of data usually does that, i mean its obvious it was gon happen, i rather it be the same day it comes back than later in the week, dam son chill
