We’re currently experiencing an extremely heavy load of password resets, and so we recently had to turn off services for approximately 30 minutes to clear the queue.
As such, a large number of people are attempting to change their passwords at the same time, it’s taking longer than expected for all those emails to clear all of the ISPs.
If you’ve requested your password reset, please give it a bit of time to reach your email. Thanks for your patience as we work to get everyone back online.

Canadians who placed fraud alters with the credit bureaus are anxiously awaiting the compensation process
These charges should not come out of pocket but given the amount of time (3+ weeks) we’ve had to wait for the system to come back on line waiting was not an option.
I’ve heard reference to compensation but the only one you’ve been specific to is the US fraud protection …. other people are still waiting.

reseted my password very easy, Sony always offering good service, my brother can keep his xbox and keep paying for what I got for free from Sony and even better games, now, just got to have patience for all services be back online, need to buy some stuff too, Thank you Sony for all the hard work you do for your customers and your gamers!
im glad that the online functionality is back. but im also wondering when the store will be back up. i got new DLCs to retrieve and new ones to download.

Back online. I’ve been looking forward to playing Mortal Kombat online, but I can’t redeem my online voucher that came with the game to activate online stuff for the game. I guess as long as the store is down, playstation codes can’t be redeemed. sigh…

I was going to buy an XBOX 360 or a Super Nintendo this pass weekend, but since the PSN is back up I’m going to buy two PSPs, an extra PS3 and put down three reservations for the NGP.
And Sony I promise to never think about another system naked ever again.

@fmsfiend: You should be able to reset your password directly from your system as long as it’s connected to the internet. Go over to the PSN icon, try to log in, and a password reset box should pop up.
