We’re currently experiencing an extremely heavy load of password resets, and so we recently had to turn off services for approximately 30 minutes to clear the queue.
As such, a large number of people are attempting to change their passwords at the same time, it’s taking longer than expected for all those emails to clear all of the ISPs.
If you’ve requested your password reset, please give it a bit of time to reach your email. Thanks for your patience as we work to get everyone back online.
@ passive_menis_ i know what you mean I’ve spent most of the day bustin’ heads in Black Ops too.
only thing sucks is that in the past 3 1/2 weeks i could have prestige’d 3 times already. I think they should have like a triple XP WEEK for COD: Black Ops or something for those of us who had to suffer with out online play.
It’s cool, just go for a shower, eat and it’d be back by the time I finish. :P

i wish i would have used my kombat code the moment i got home with mortal kombat as it stands I only have less than a day left on my online trail and then no mortal kombat online till the store comes back. I seen the dreaded message and about kicked my ps3 glad i decided no to hope its back up soon and with out the 3 hour phase in period.
psn is down, some1 hacked it agian lol that would be funny though..

Please address the timed out issue that I am having after receiving password reset confirmation and before PSN went back offline officially. I have yet to have a successful login via either of my consoles.

Why does PSN keep going back down? This is seriously annoying. Waited long enough to play online again. Doubt Xbox Live has these issues…

does that mean it will take several hours for you to ROLL OUT SERVICE like you did previously?
If you have the “maintenance” message. Just turn off your PS3, turn it on, then log on. Doesn’t work? Wait a couple minutes
