We’re currently experiencing an extremely heavy load of password resets, and so we recently had to turn off services for approximately 30 minutes to clear the queue.
As such, a large number of people are attempting to change their passwords at the same time, it’s taking longer than expected for all those emails to clear all of the ISPs.
If you’ve requested your password reset, please give it a bit of time to reach your email. Thanks for your patience as we work to get everyone back online.
Come on PSN, GET IT TOGETHER. You guys should have anticipated this before hand. You guy’s have “Professional” that are supposed to be prepared for situation like this. Most of us sat up hours last night as we watch for our states to light up in green on your Restoration map. In fact “us users” most have broken some kind of record because we posted over 20,000 comments within the hour after knowing about the restoration.. Come on guy’s if we waited this long for you guys to go back up without resorting to XBOX , it show how much we love our PS3 and without the network it’s nothing more then a PC/DVD player. BUT A REALLY GOOD ONE.. LOL!!

I haven’t been able to leave a comment on here the whole time, due to not being able to sign in. Everyone needs to just calm down. And everyone switching to a 360… if you fell you’ve been let down that much by Sony. Don’t buy a 360, but a PC. That way you can still do most everything a PS3 does and more. At least with a PC you won’t have to send it back in for repairs 4 or 5 times.

@60 8 the server cannot run because there r too many ppl changing passwords so it was turned off because they need to make sure that the passwords were reset properly and that they could make sure it was going smoothly
