We’re currently experiencing an extremely heavy load of password resets, and so we recently had to turn off services for approximately 30 minutes to clear the queue.
As such, a large number of people are attempting to change their passwords at the same time, it’s taking longer than expected for all those emails to clear all of the ISPs.
If you’ve requested your password reset, please give it a bit of time to reach your email. Thanks for your patience as we work to get everyone back online.

@Zinacef i think a months time is plenty of enough patience and how come sony is never prepared for these types of things? Did they think no one would log on after not having online play for close to a month.

You people are funny. you don’t care if the system is working properly, you just wanna give sony money in their PS Store for things you use on their system which may go down again in a day and then you’ve just wasted money on something you can’t use.
And as for the people saying noone can be online. your wrong. as long as you were on before they took it down, you can still be online. but if you log off or restart your system you can’t relogin untill they re-enable the login.

@ murked901.. yea I figured that.. At least my psn s working, even if it werent am patient enough to just watch a movie for a while and be chill about it. All the people that are asking if the store is up are kinda driving me nuts tho, lol. It’s not like they are going to open the store tonight or anything. They must think cause it’s down they are working on restoring the store, eventho the update clearly states why it’s down. I could see it being up sometime this coming week, tho I figure it will be closer to the end of the month.

Oh well its been down for awhile and I understand that but in time everything will be hack normal and everyone will be still bitter about other things this just gives more people to express their anger on stupid things I have faith in everything PlayStation does and it takes a lot of time to process and check codex and programing its not like a person just thinks it up and it happens over night it takes time to perfect it and I image that everyone would get on all at once for being down for so long so of course the server is going to crush…but thank you for your help and hard work Sony

@FlungDungFar exactly giving us a free month of PSN+ is actually a marketing ploy. There giving us a taste of PSN+ to see if well end up liking it enough to subscribe. PSN+ subscripers are getting screwed over most of all.
