Update On PlayStation Network/Qriocity Services

An external intrusion on our system has affected our PlayStation Network and Qriocity services. In order to conduct a thorough investigation and to verify the smooth and secure operation of our network services going forward, we turned off PlayStation Network & Qriocity services on the evening of Wednesday, April 20th. Providing quality entertainment services to our customers and partners is our utmost priority. This can’t be happening, wake me up from this nightmare. I can see XBOX 360 going offline cause it sucks and you have to pay. I would have thought something like this would never happen, to Sony and what if this happens again if it happened this time? Whats stoping whoevers at fault?
everybody should stop complaining, theyre doing what they can. at least we dont have to pay for the use of playstation network, so lets all be glad and play some single player games :P

Latest Update for PSN/Qriocity Services
We sincerely regret that PlayStation Network and Qriocity services have been suspended, and we are working around the clock to bring them both back online. Our efforts to resolve this matter involve re-building our system to further strengthen our network infrastructure. Though this task is time-consuming, we decided it was worth the time necessary to provide the system with additional security.
We thank you for your patience to date and ask for a little more while we move towards completion of this project. We will continue to give you updates as they become available.
It’s really not that big of a deal, they are trying to improve the system so it doesn’t happen again. Relax People.

I want to thank everyone involved in getting playstation network back and running right. i know it toook awhile but guess what.. im glad it took that long to get it right to protect us. we play for free come on people back playstation on a job well done.. quit thinking about yourselves.. i have xbox and wii but playstation rocks.. and will come back stronger then ever.. a job well done team.. you have my vote.
I need a compensation 4 all the days without playing , i have spend much of my money on games , … sony has made lots and lots of money in order to have a back up system for situations like this one , it is not my responsability the security of the servers , i dont get pay for that , im the one paying for the service , …..so why are we paying for the mistakes ? ……. first step on my complain !!!!
