The fix is definitely to redownload, WOW sony, way to screw up big and NOT TELL ANYONE HOW TO FIX IT.

Honestly I don’t see why anyone who plans to play the game long term would purchase anythign but the lifetime membership. $35 for lifetime membership is a good deal. if you go with the $5 monthly plan you’d have paid $35 in 7 months.

It’s still broke I redownloaded it did get me passed the title screen and let me make my guy and enter my custom name but then you hit start to enter game and you get an error and brought back to the title screen then when you go back in the game does realize you made you guy already so you try again and it says your name is already taken. Hope I didn’t lose my name because of this or else this game is dead to me. LOL

It’s still broke I redownloaded it and I did get past the title screen to the character creation so I make character and enter my custom name but then when you hit start to enter game you get an error and kicked back to the title screen then when you go back into the game it doesn’t realize you made your guy already so you have to make your character again and it says your name is already taken. I Hope I didn’t lose my name because of this or else this game is dead to me. LOL

35 bucks for a lifetime is a steal, if youre cheap, then no its not free, if youre not cheap, then yes its free. in order to provide better features, paying money helps expand the content and the people’s pay who works on it for your convience.
Think of the 35 dollar one time lifetime charge as a fee for PURCHASING the game. ;)
iam haveing problems i just downloaded the game free realms and when it was done it wasnt working my friend hade the same problem
i dont know if its me only but free realms for me its crashing it stay at a white screen after the loading…

I have reinstalled 3 times now in last 5 hours and still no luck .

Okay.. You can’t use custom name. Either wait till they fix it or use the pre-sets. But yeah that’s the reason you can’t get in…
@323 used the presets and still cant connect. so that isnt it.
I used custom name and couldn’t get in then did pre set and it let me in so I figured that was it

It’s 12:53 AM here, still isn’t letting me in… so I have to assume all of you that said your in the game and its working, have to be LYING!!
I got to the make a character screen after about 3 installs and it kicks me out after i finish making my toon.Im calling it a night and hopefully it works in the morning.
No problems here. Downloaded and installed the first time . Pretty interesting stuff here . Lot’s of potential for killing time in this game . Got a month premium for now and probably will grab a lifetime .
btw the kart racing and demo derby is a ton of fun .

If you buy the membership is it tied to the account on the ps3 who bought it, or can all users on the activated ps3 benefit for it?, it’s quite important as I would like other family members to play it aswell, but paying a membership for everyone will be too much!
finished the download for the installer and the 800+MB for the whole game…goes to a loading screen and after a bit of loading it goes into a white screen…I assume somethings wrong so naturally i turn off the PS3 and am shown the triple beep of a crash….so what’s up? :/
what… a membership only can earn trophies…!!! if non membership then cannot earn trophies.. :(
any news if this will be released on PSN Asia? i have an asian account and i’m playing on the US server and can’t apply for membership because of different regions.
woke up this morning. Still same error. Some you said you deleted and reinstalled so I’m doing that now. If don;t work after that saved myself 30 bucks. I’ll just delete it and forget about it.

Im still getting ” you have been disconnected form the server” I deleted the game and reinstalled it and still the same. u know what u need is a prompted telling us your working on the servers.
well I’m reinstalling it now since I was still having the same problems I was hoping to play it some yesterday but couldn’t get on if this works I wish I found out about it and did it yesterday because it only takes me about 14mins to download it

Wasted 2 hrs getting to lvl 5…but it wont let me reach that lvl cuz of the stupid member thing…
I encourage all who are trophy hunters to not bother you’ll be stuck with an empty 0% trophy list…trophies for members only pfft.

well this game is still broken. I deleted and re installed, now it lets me get to the character create screen but after that it says the servers are not available at this time and to try later.
Way to f**k this up, Sony.
A user-wide issue where getting into a server not only fails, but also makes you lose whatever name you came up with, members-only trophies AND a level 5 limit for any non-members? Screw off.
I’ve played a free MMO that had no limit cap for anyone and only required the use of money for things like special items, weapons, armor, etc. THAT was done by a smaller developer and you’re telling me a big company like Sony can do the same? Have fun with that.
You’d think they would at least post something to the internet, or say something to someone that their having technical difficulties and their trying to fix it, but they probably arn’t saying that cause they arn’t doing anything about it… I think I’ll try reinstalling because some of you seem to be having luck with that :)
P.S. If you get in, I suggest making a character now with the name you don’t want, and then when they actually get this whole problem fixed, make a new character with the name you want and if you havn’t bought a membership, then do this and when you make your new/final character, buy the membership.

Sony as 343 and 345 stated this is a severely misleading game “can all play it for FREE” “Be on the lookout for hidden Trophies ” both are false statements in regard to the “Free” game. While generally Fremium and item mall games don’t bother me this was particularly low. I had played this game on PC and it could have been a wonderful game before you castrated it. And was actually looking forward to this release, but am so disappointed with things now, so much boasted yet we’re handed a lite version almost only a demo. Also those grand notions gone, dare I even mention the load screens while I’m not sure this isn’t due to my 1.5M connection in my 3-4 playing last night i sat looking at a loading screen for 45mins probably menu load screen selection load screen go back load screen ad nauseam. So i wait hoping you see the error of your ways, so I will sit my install gathering dust periodically inspected. But should you not would the removal of what will be an eternally empty trophy list be too much to ask for I have been baited and switched. Alas the country id was remove from the working title Not so – Free – Realms

After I finished downloading the ingame 804 mb, I was lead to a loading page. In a few seconds my whole screen went white but the music was still playing. Please fix this.
