Great update! It’s awesome to have new games for the PSP along with a great deal on a classic PSP game and a price reduction on another (I can’t believe Ghostbusters PSP was still $30…weird). Not much for me on the PS3 front, but the PSP side of the PS Store is getting some of my money this week.
2 questions
1) if i resubscribe to plus will it add up to my remaining months left?
2) if i buy dc universe from psn can i use the collectors editions voucher for ingame stuff ?? ( i havent used them yet)

There’s an easy explanation for the early update – it seems like they always update early when it’s time to end a decent sale like the half-off Castle Crashers and GOW: Ghost of Sparta which ended today.
What’s not easy to explain is why they still haven’t updated the prices for the newest PSP Greatest Hits and Favorites which are ostensibly supposed to be $19.99 and $9.99 now.
Where is Lego Star Wars I am starting to hate buying a psp go I hate the online store?

I totally agree. What happened to the PSP Greatest Hits and Favorites program? It was announced almost a month ago, and we’ve seen NOTHING on the Playstation Store.
Is this program just going to be for UMDs? If so, that’s really pathetic support for the PSN and for the PSP Go.

I used to sell Playstation Plus to everyone. I have had over 6 people sign up because of me raving about it. Look at my list and you can ask the people who have Plus who told them about it. Now I’m getting embarrassed because I mentioned it to people. Search Rave or canno81 on gameinformer and you’ll see my blog about Plus. The past couple months have been dreadful for plus members. Please Sony tell us better things are to come. The last update was just the same as a couple months ago. Now this update is subpar at best. (other than the beta) ….. hangs my head
No! I finally got a paid to get Castle Crashers half off and now its gone! And where is the Swarm demo!

that wasn’t a demo, it was a prequel game (hence the name prologus)
a demo has to have a section of the actual game in it, the prologus is a different game entirely.

kind of a meh update, but they all can’t be awesome. Can’t wait till next week for the final Mass Effect 2 dlc that bridges the gap between ME2 and ME3.
nothing for me. nothing really that appealing for me on the psp. i mean the first dissidia game was alright, but at least from what i see from this sequel it doesnt look that “good”. I still dont get why you guys dont put out older psp games. i see everyday my psp (go) not getting played because nothing is worth playing. When is Crisis Core coming on the psn?
Anyway the sale for the ps3 seem nice. i plan on picking up (hopefully) the street fighter game, and tetris. its nice that you guys give so much support to the ps3 its a shame you guys dont show the same for the psp. i really hope this changes when the NGP comes out. I’m not buying it first day because of past experiences of disappointment.
@86 – Maybe when the Killzone 3 Map pack DLC comes out Sony might remember they already released the game a month ago and finally think about releasing avatars and themes for the game. But really who knows how they think. Not logically.
It would be nice if game reviewers reviewed all version of a game when they write their reviews. Every review of Crysis 2 has been based on the 360 version. I have both systems and I just want a honest review of every platform.
The amount of money MS is spending for game reviews is getting stupid.

Yes, it will add to your remaining months…they said it will ‘stack’ to your subscribtion.
I bought another year and on the XMB you can actually check how many months you have left and your expiry date.
If you want to check yours, here’s what you do on the PS3 XMB:
You can verify this on your PS3 (on the XMB) if you go to Account Management, then to Transaction Management.
Scroll down to the Services List and locate PlayStationPlus and then click the X button.
It will show you your subscribtion (the time of the 1st purchase and the Expire date).
Whatever you do. Buy legend of mana. Gorgeous hand drawn graphics, an amazing score by yoko shimomura, and an incredibly charming cast of characters. Wish I could gift this game to my friends. Everyone should play it. At $6 it’s an absolute steal.

Played Ghostbusters demo and wow that game is terrible. I couldn’t even get through the whole demo I was so disgusted. When is the “Swarm” demo going to drop? It looks very intruiging. I am on the fence as far as buying it goes, I think a demo is neccessary to seal the deal. Maybe someday?
