  • Where’s XENOGEARS !?!?

  • Will the PSOne Classics work on PSP & PS3?? YOU REALLY NEED TO SPECIFY- this very article got me excited for Pocket Fighter last week without mentioning it’s shortcomings, and I wasted $6 downloading it on my PS3 as I really just wanted to store it there and copy it to PSP. I have no interest in buying a PSOne Classic that only works on PS3, and I’m not spending money on a PS3 title with no Trophy incentive to play it. Shame on you guys for not making that clearer, even here in a detailed online post, or for even allowing a PS1 release that IS NOT COMPLETE OR WORKING PROPERLY!

I could’ve used that $6 to put towards my 5th PS3 console repair! Hooray for these awesome ($599, I’ll remind you) 60GB models. Guess I’ll be “upgrading” to a slim this time (ONLY $120 more!). I have no choice. These 60GB units JUST DON’T WORK FOR VERY LONG! This is obviously a problem as I’m experiencing a meltdown on the 7th 60GB unit I’ve seen take a dump. 7 for 7!

  • @63

You’ll be old and gray before you get responses to anything important on this blog. Seriously don’t even waste your breath . If you want answers try the EU ps blog. They know how to treat its customers .

  • HOLY *&(^!*&^( THREE KOEI GAMES. I’ll be downloading Saiyuki, Destrega, and Romance of the Three Kingdoms 3-5 times EACH. :D :) <3 Be my Valentine Sony&Koei!!! Get the original Dynasty Warriors and Romance of the Three Kingdoms VI on PSN next plz!?

  • Ya know, I see this asked nearly every week the PS One Classics come in, but seriously – who picks the PS One Classics?

Because the picks are so often just ridiculously niche or stuff that seems unworthy of the port to the PS Store. Definitely stuff that less worthy than things in higher demand.

That said, I’d love it if one day Intelligent Qube made it to the PS Store. This was a pretty rare game back in the day and I only ever got to play some of it on a demo disc, and it was pretty cool.

  • PS1 releases are determined less by demand and more by when and from whom Sony secures digital distribution licenses. Legend of Dragoon will come eventually, those Square Enix games (including the not-as-good-as-these-KOEI-games-Xenogears) will come as soon as North American rights are ironed out, etc.

Thank God they don’t just release “popular” games, or all our favourite niche games would never get released.

  • Why do we have to wait until the last Tuesday for Alien Breed 3?

BTTF looks good, and Tell Tale does a great job, so I hope it keeps me busy for a week, though I doubt it.

  • Is (Contra) Hard Corps coming out on PS3?

  • Each week I check hoping for Suikoden II to be on that PS1 classics list. And each week it is not.

    /leaving disappointed

  • @63 Pocket Fighter CLEARLY specifies in its store description that it will only work on PS3.

    Learn to read.

  • I thought Hard Corps (Contra built by the guys behind Guilty Gear & BlazBlue) was coming out this week? Been looking forward to that for a while now…

  • GREAT SCOTT!!!!
BTTF DAY ONE PURCHASE MCFLY! HELLO MCFLY!!!

  • @ 70 LordAbsu Learn to Not be a Jerk!

  • If you haven’t played Pure yet, definitely think about picking it up. That game is a complete blast!

  • no Mega Man 3? :(

  • When are we going to get some decent and a more steady stream of full games (Vanquish, Dead Space, RDR, GTA4, etc…)?

Mass Effect 2 was a nice change of pace to have it available on the PSN, but the other console has a ton of Multiplats on their downloadable game service…why doesnt the PSN have more?

  • How Much will tactics ogre be ?

  • Awesome week for RPG fans with two turn-based RPGs releasing this week. I’ve got both on pre-order, actually Tactics Ogre has already shipping so I’ll have it in my hands tomorrow.

@darkmark1987 – It will be $40 just like the retail version. PSN is never cheaper than retail, unless they happen to have a sale, but that’s very rare.

  • @ 25

I suggested X-COM on PSN in ‘Share’, but haven’t gotten many votes. Check it out and vote up please… all of you.

  • Yeah, what about Mega Man 3? Will be picking up TNT Racers and possibly one of those minis.

  • What the hell is wrong with you people? WHERE IS XENOGEARS?!?!?

  • WHY CAN U ONLY HAVE ONE IDEA A DAY? THANKS FOR THE FREE MINI PSN BUT U GUYS SHOULD REALLY MAKE THEM TROPHY GAMES! AND AS FOR DCUO… GREAT GAME AMAZING GAME BUT WERES THE LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP, IF PC GAMERS CAN HAVE ONE WHY CANT PS3 GAMERS WE NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR THAT? BASICALLY I HAVE TO PAY 100+ $ EVERY YEAR TO PLAY. IN THAT CASE IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A FREE DOWNLOAD WITH THE MONTH TO MONTH OR THREE OR SIX OR YEAR SUB. BUT WHAT DO I KKNOW I ONLY SPEND 6+ HOURS A DAY ON THE PS3. AND WILL HAVE MY PS3 FROEVER JUST LIKE MY PC

  • PS3 IS STILL THE BEST OUT THERE! AND ITS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO MAKE EVERYONE HAPPY, BUT YOU GUYS DO YOUR BEST! IN THE WORDS OF A FAMOUS MAN “GAME ON!”

  • where are the dlc for black ops!
