    @twooh
    Who’s forcing you to buy DLC? As with Burnout Paradise the cars are largely ignorable I’d imagine. Not entirely sure what the casino thing is all about but it doesn’t sound very interesting..

    @El_Hoardo
    That’s like asking them for new free avatars as people had for several years up until “premium” avatars debuted. Good luck!

    @xuipid
    There was a blog post on Filmy earlier in the day. Go check it out.

    @OniJsan
    Come now. This is far from the latest update PSN has seen!

    @Syaieya
    One is PSP legacy while the other is PSOne legacy! Every game should be made available for purchase, even if in some ways they are the same game!

    @ajayghosal
    And people call ME demanding? At least I buy things. Are you next going to ask for a discount on your next PS+ sub? :o

    @Snakebyte42
    Some day very soon I hope. I already own the game on disc but having it on my PSP & Go would be wonderful.

    @Anyone Stacking
    So… is it actually a good game? What’s it like? The ‘demo’ being 1 gb in size is causing me to push it to the backburner in favor of other things at the moment.

  • Great Update, love the incentives that come with being a Playstation Plus subscriber. I always look forward to Tuesday Playstation Store updates and I always have stuff to download each and every Tuesday :) Rock on Sony!

  • Where is promised MAG Starter Kit discount actually?!

  • and again the PSP got no new games….
    Its official then, the PSP is dead….
    no more updates.
    thanks to piracy and all hacker’s involved, you guys win….

  • Lots of demos. Good job GC. Please make sure there are demos for new releases as much as possible. Dead Nation and Eat Them demos next please.

  • Plants vs Zombies PSP anytime soon?

    There are soo many ‘would be good’ PSP games that are PS3 only.

  • GIVE ME MY MAG STARTER KIT DISCOUNT!

  • Easily one of the best updates so far.

    Although I have to say Qore dropped the ball on the Killzone 3 guns images. It’s a very, VERY minor mistake, but you named the ISA Submachinegun as an Assault Rifle. No big deal really, but I thought it was sort of silly.

    But yeah, loved the Killzone 3 story demo and Stacking. Although I’m mostly looking forward to MvC3 and Killzone 3. So darn soon for both!

  • Thanks for the crappy update grace =)

  • nice update!

  • Wow! Waited all day for the update. Wanted 2 play stacking but now I’m at work while it downloads. :(
    But still happy to get it free cuz I was gonna buy it. I love double fine. I hoping this will get enough people interested in there products and keep the games coming. I loved costume quest and all these neat gameplay ideas. Thanks PS+ but where is my yakuza 4 demo? Also does anyone know if we’re gonna get the collectors edition in the states like there getting in the UK? Glad to see others. Interest in it. I’d also like to see more point and click games on the system like Sam and Max and monkey island. 3 months in on my 15 month subscribe and has paid for it self and more. Keep up the good work.

  • You should have mentioned in your Store Update post that Pocket Fighters PSone Classic is only playable on the PS3. This is what it says in the store, at least.

  • The Killzone 3 single player demo was nothing short of stunning. I can’t wait for February 22nd!

  • Looks like a good update. The most surprising thing to me was that we PS+ members get a brand new PSN game for free for the first time. And whats more, that game happens to be Stacking. To bad I’ve been at school for over 10 hours today, or I’d be playing it right now.

  • I tell ya this is the year of the ps3. Huge line up this year on exclusives. First we got lbp2 now killzone 3 and we got yakuza 4 . Residence 3 and infamous 2 coming. A super sequel year. Glad o got a ps3 for Christmas.
    Loved my 360 but its doo doo games this year. Wish there was some new franchises tho.

  • Oh and uncharted 3 and r&c all for 1 & move heroes I excited about. Hope a be jak4 and sly 4 is coming.

  • Failure for the PSP…

  • Anyone who hasn’t picked up Stacking is missing out. If I wasn’t a Plus subber and paid the 15 dollars, I would be absolutely pleased. It’s smart, fun, and funny as heck. Pick it up.

    What happened to the DCUO offer that supposed to come out today? Is it in the game itself? I guess I’ll go find out, but I though it would be on the store.

  • This Killzone 3 demo is great. I can’t wait for the whole game.

  • @ 110

    Chek out Brink, Rage, Bulletstorm, etc… No they’re not exclusive but they are new original IPs, and you’re not paying for online anymore. Everything is better on this side of the fence. No we don’t have Halo, but we’ve got our own great exclusives that I’d rather play anyway a la Killzone, Resistence, Ratchet, LBP, Twisted Metal, GOW, and so on… Welcome, brother.

  • Tried to wait out the update tonight for some “Plants VS. Zombies” (despite the fact that my 3rd refurbished 60GB PS3 is about to die on me) but had to get some sleep (I work nights to afford my PS3 repairs [I kid, I kid]). Got to work hoping to at least grab the “Pocket Fighter” PSOne Classic to play on my incredibly durable and solidly constructed PSP2000 (which I upgraded from a very solid PSP1000) and found it unavailable from the PSP storefront. Sad face. :(

    I’ll download it in the morning on my PS3 (provided my console doesn’t freeze up while attempting to do so) along with other goodies, but thought you should know that PSP-only consumers can’t access the game as of right now. Thanks for Stacking, BTW! :) (I’m a Plus+ guy)

    Talk to you soon… like when I can afford another repair/replacement! I bet my 5th PS3 will be the best one yet. I have a good feeling it will last at least 18 months! *kisses*

  • This must be one of the best PSN games updates ever!

  • it’s a o.k. update but not impressed with games.

  • Where is the “ATV Pure” game trial for Plus members? Also, when is the MAG Starter Kit going on sale for Plus members? Grr… >_>

  • I’m really disappointed to see that the KZ3 sp demo is for PS+ subscribers only :( ugh!

  • wow, good update, thanks :)

  • For those wondering about the PS+ content (the MAG starter kit discount, Yakuza 4 Demo, ATV Pure, etc), it will be available on 2/15 as was posted in the Feb. 3rd blog posting about PS+. This update of PS+ is a special one. We typically wouldn’t see anything until next week. Most of the time, the only thing outside the regular two week schedule is when a new episode of Qore is released.

  • AUTO DOWNLOAD DID NOT WORK,,,,,,,for KZ3 DEMO…… dont promise something and it does not deliver SONY…

  • Harvest Moon Back to Nature…on PS Network?

    Thank you Natsume and Sony for finally getting this down. This is truly a great day for all Harvest Moon fans.

  • Hi. When is Twin Blades gonna be release?

  • GRACE PLEASE DO THE UPDATE ON TIME YOU DISSAPOINT ALL THE PSN USER ALWAYS YOU ARE LATE WEEK TO WEEK

  • Don’t care for Killzone and certainly will not play the demo.

    All the downloadable games suck. Not sure what Stacking is all about but people seem to like it.

    Why Demo Tetris? It’s good enough it doesn’t even need a demo, either you’re going to buy it or you’re not, it’s only been released for 200 other systems in the past 25 years.

    No interest in any of the PSone classics, when are we going to see some of the older Final Fantasy’s(Especially IV, V and VI), or Smackdown games without having to use CFW? I’d love to be able to play Smackdown here comes the pain, Smackdown 1 and 2, WCW Nitro among others.

    Filmy is stupid, PS3 can already play DVD’s in near HD quality if you aren’t a moron and know how to hook up your TV.

    I have always been impressed with the Themes that come out. And I love how they are on top of the holidays, been using the winter Holiday theme for PS+ users

    Overall another update I will barely use anything, but I can see them took a lot of time with it. Will probably download Smackdown vs Raw’s alternate DLC 2 and anything free and that’s it.

  • It was a very good update but that automatic update is JUNK and Should be REMOVED like the Other OS option. Thanks for your time:)

  • As for the people complaining about the lack of stuff for the PSP, I am heavily satisfied with the RPG heavy UMD content already available.

    Class of Heroes
    Cladun, this is an RPG!
    Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII
    Dissidia Final Fantasy
    Dungeon Maker II, the Hidden War
    Dungeon Siege, Throne of Agony
    Final Fantasy
    Final Fantasy II
    Final Fantasy VII
    Final Fantasy VIII
    Final Fantasy XI
    Final Fantasy Tactics
    Final Fantasy Tactics, War of the Lions
    Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep
    Lunar Silver Star Harmony
    Neverland Card Battles
    Phantasy Star Portable
    Phantasy Star Portable II
    Puzzle Quest Challenge of the Warlords
    Suikoden

  • More Apps please.

    How about FireFox or Google Chrome?

  • this was well worth the wait, a big update takes a while to upload i suppose and thats good for me! keep em comin like this!

  • @#104: It’s not that the hackers won… it’s that inertia won. Sony releases expensive hardware like the Go and then leaves the people (like us) foolish enough to buy it based on Sony’s perpetually broken promises (backwards compatibility, Other OS, etc.). Who really wins here is Nintendo, because a whole lot of people who got screwed over by the Go will be Go-ing for a 3DS this year.

  • Can we please get an update on the update time? Seriously. If Grace Chen is a “Senior manager” then she must have an underling who can tweet the update time during an afternoon coffee break or something. Seriously. I know you people work on the West coast so it always seems early to you but for the rest of the country it would be nice to know when we get home from school or work if we will be seeing the update before we go to bed. Seriously. Tweet.

    Good update for us + users. Still haven’t tried anything b/c…

    For those people looing for Yakuza et al see many posts above about that being NEXT WEEK. Not your fault though, those bi-weekly PS+ posts are always consufing as heck.

    For the person complaining about auto downloads – they usually update “every other day” at whatever time you set, BUT Sony seems to have this set for Mon. and Wed. so for store updates we never get the free stuff until Wed. night or Thurs. morning depending on what time you have it set for. Sony is stupid for having it this way, but stupid it is.

    For the Canadian – turn off Automatic downloads, they don’t work as they should, their stupid, see above.

  • I was wondering why there’s not a Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 demo, but after reading several reviews of the game now I understand.

    SHame…

  • For the “PST v EST” comments, the updates have rarely been as late as 7pm EST. We all know the Offical Time is PST. 10pm EST is just ridiculous.
    That said, I played Stacking for 3 hours. My GF watched the opening sequence, saying “You aren’t even in the game yet and I love it.”
    Better late than never, and PSN+ is coming into its own. Keep it up!

  • Purchased “Pocket Fighter” PSOne Classic this morning on my PS3 (the update was pretty late getting up last night). One of the reasons I love PSOne Classics is because I can play them on my PSP. It’s nice to have them on PS3, but I have many of the Classics I’ve purchased on disc- I buy them again to play them on the go, at work, for example. I was at work late last night and checked to see if the update was finally live so I could get my mini-street fighting on, only to find new content but no “Pocket Fighter.” Checked the PSBlog and it was listed as having released… >PII

  • >PI… Someone must’ve screwed up, I thought- but no big deal, I’ll just go home and download it to the PS3 and then copy it to PSP before they can even get that error corrected. Downloaded it and tried to copy only to find that this PSone Classic is apparently only compatible with PS3! This is a new development as all downloadable PSOne Classics, to my knowledge, have been cross-platform compatible. Checking the blog post again, it is in no way noted that this Classic is unique in it’s lack of a key feature… >PIII

  • Yeah, why isn’t Pocket Fighter $3 for Plus members like it was promised to be or is that some wacky next week promotion?

  • >PII… I think a lot of PS3/PSP consumers like myself are going to feel burned by this and I think Sony deserves to explain why this is and if we can expect to have to check all of our PSOne downloads in the future the way we once had to check our Minis to see if they’d work on our PS3 systems. That was a grey area for a time, as well- however PS3 play was a new feature being added to the Mini line, whereas PS3+PSP play for PSOne Classics is an established feature and we have a reasonable expectation to be offered a consistent feature set- such as PSP compatibility- or AT LEAST BE TOLD IN PLAIN ENGLISH THAT IT’S NOT GOING TO WORK ON PSP!!! Which is a huge omission and would’ve saved me $6 as I don’t really care to play a paid PS3 title, especially a new one, without Trophy support. Please bring this to other PSN customer’s attention before they make the same mistake I did.

  • guess its me alone that don’t like stacking or any other free games that was given out recently nor the discounted games,as a ps+ member so far i have got nothing good except for dynamic themes,why am i paying for this service again?

  • Does anyone know if Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together will be on the PSN Store next Tuesday(Feb 15th)?
    I can’t seem to find info regarding this anywhere.

  • @148 Yukondave1984

    If the rumors are true then yes. T.O. will be out next week, but its a psp game and i doubt sony will put it up as they dont like the psp.

  • Where is Yakuza 4 ????? Smh #TeamBON
