Holy Crap!!! There are still challenge lobbies on CoD: Modern Warfare 2. Crazy huh… Well i wish they could make a PS4 that could do anything! That would be sweet.

The PSN belongs to sony, nothing more, punish people for cheating online, not for doing what they want to do with goods they purchased in the privacy of their own homes. You catch a modded machine online with an unfair advantage to other players, then ban them…simple solution. you think itz Geohot’s fault we are getting another update with NO benefits whatsoever to consumers? Sony has released so many pointless updates for no reason whatsoever than to keep us out of the machines we own and have a right to fair and square.

Newsflash, Sony: A good chunk of homebrewers don’t in fact crack firmware to pirate games, but rather to add new features to the system- something you guys have been failing horrendously at doing.

I wish Black Ops had everything free like zombie maps and all that instead of paying for it and when PS3 Plus runs out of membership i would still like to keep my stuff instead of wasting more money on a stupid videogame system. technically demon haxors, when you turn on the PS3, you have to agree to the EULA for the PS3 firmware in order to use it, and part of that EULA requires you to waive ownership of the firmware in place of a usage license, seriously read the EULA ahead of time before you get you panties in a knot.

i just popped on to check what the update is and read the comments as the update loads… i read the problems and suggest getting your PS3 WIRED as i turn its now restarting my PS3 to implement the patch update and install it, and now its at 25%. try using an cat5 cable to your router and it should work fine(since mine did)!! oh now its done. Good luck all!!!!

v3.56 will still be hacked again. i have a feeling about it cuz GeoHot is a genious. He always finds ways to do this crap. My PS3 keeps freezing up during gameplay and on Internet Browser. Do you Sony know why? no….
i love update’s when they put new feature’s and that’s the only time…..but i can’t blame them since the hackers miss it up….i’m all for improving the ps3..but..when they used it to handicap others in game then there’s a problem

It doesn’t matter what they actually do with it, sony is more concerned about what they could potentially do, its a preventative measure.

Lol Infinity Ward Or Activision, Whoever controls the MW2 patches should really update to like a v1.15 or something, because there are people that still have the Challenge Lobby patch after updating the “Security” update. Please that would really change everything for people that are still crazy about that game

Im fine with this update. As long as those f@gs on Cod4, MW2 and soon B.O. are stopped from hacking the game to every extent, I am fine.
However, it would be very nice for us to have more features… The cross game voice chat, a revamped XMB and faster response when bringing up the menu in-game sound the best to me…

im tired of “security” patches. they don’t do anything but become a pain in the ass. if it was minor, why does it take forever to dl it? the 360 has major updates that take way less time. like every time they change their Dashboard. This is y hackers do their thing. hacks don’t need updates lol

So let me understand this correctly, here and you know what ill admit here perfectly that yes i jail breaked my PS3 for i can have fun with challenge lobbies but you know what i didn’t hurt anyone or anything i never had any complaints on the MW2, but the only reason right now, we are even having issues in the first place is that we go back to the beginning in which PS3 claimed to be unhackable.. so technical geniuses are gonna say yeah right, and then guess what they did they hacked the PS3 and Sony is mad about it. Because they didn’t get their way, we spent alot of money on our PS3 here and you throw us all of this, I love the idea of a backup manager just in case my 4 year old brother doesn’t grab a disk and breaks it and now i can play it again from my Internal Hdd or my external thats my main reason why i jailbreaked that because of the backup manager so i don’t have to spend more money in which i don’t have for it.
You know what sony for me to actually get a PS3 i had to sell 11 Xbox 360 games and a wired Xbox 360 controller for $300 to get your system to play with others, to play for free and you know what i love my PS3 i love the idea of free online play for i can play with friends and im extremely grateful for that. But right now, with all these problems especially now more then half of the community can’t even update to the new 3.56 update,did you even test it before you did it. Maybe if you listen to people and cooperate with others and stop thinking you are mister big shot that has a fat checks and makes all the money and just enjoy making our systems and just reach out and ask what do we want in our next patch and everything i bet you would have a better community. with the unhackable thing you really just put up a challenge to all the hackers in the world to do it, and in the end it was able to do and you sadly enough failed.

So im sorry if you think im a bad guy and im sorry community that you think im a really bad person here for all of that and you know im appologize that gave all of you a bad experience but i just wanted to be able to save money and just have fun in general with MW2 lobbies, and guess what i didn’t use aimbot or anything all i did was just give some people a next prestige or whatever, Right now yes there is alot of people playing MW2 still but person i played with i bet you wouldn’t complain about me. For what i did in that other then the rest of the community. Sony, you guys just gotta stop trying to challenge people to technology brawl and throw everyone in court just because they called your bluff. Just relax and enjoy what you are doing.

Guys while we all hate the fact that hackers are raping ps3 security and some idiots are using it to play pirated games I would like to say that ps3 is unfortunately hacked thoroughly (3.56 decrypting keys already in the wild )http://www.ps3-hacks.com/2011/01/26/ps3-firmware-3-56-live/. We need to stop psn access by implementing a key code authenticator for purchased games like pcs have meaning you buy the game you get a keycode to use online and for those people renting implement a temp keycode given by rental passes via psn ie. you rented dead space 2 great pay 1 dollar for 5 day access. otherwise we will never get feature packed updates sony listen to you consumers for once and don’t take out features previously advertised. For one it pisses of the hackers and for two it alienates all legit consumers who want to grow this industry by PAYING for software/features. PS THE HACKERS ARE WINNING.
