  • 1st how good is singstar with the PLAYSTATION MOVE sony?

  • Another Brilliant set of Songs…. :)

  • Nice one.

Just a quick question to Mr Thach…

When will the Asian (Hong Kong) version of Sing Star get its online store and other functionality? It just says “coming soon” on the box, and I’m itching to spend some of my hard earned Hong Kong Dollars on your content.

  • Wireles Mics for the US please!

Seriously? How many more new iterations of this product must we see before anyone involved with SingStar addresses when we in the US shall see WIRELESS MICS on store shelves?

  • @wrestlemania0226

It’s good but it’s hard too. Maybe I’m getting old, but I used to play well with dance mats and hand sensors in the DDR / ParaParaParadise days. However, I struggle with SingStar Dance.

It’s still fun though. Some people said they wish there was a training mode, but we didn’t have a training mode on the old dance games and people still learnt how to dance on those.

  • Super excited to buy “Pump Up the Jam”! Hope you guys continue to add more songs + Dance add-ons because I really enjoy playing this game :)

  • I imported the wireless mics. They are fantastic. I got tired of waiting on Sony.

Thanks for the great update. Keep ’em coming.

  • @1 it makes the game better. A good workout for the dance. And it real fun to watch the videos

  • Sweet!!! Keep it up… loving the updates. I noticed Poison on the list, MORE 80’s HAIR METAL!!!!!

  • I mean dancers :-)…but i think I’m going to buy a few of there tracks..nothing for me this time around but my fiancee might like Rihanna and Nelly F

  • That is a fantastic update! Look forward to buying up some of those songs as soon as SingStar wireless mics are released in the U.S.

I’ll not spend another penny on the product until this happens.

  • It’s good to see that the US is getting a bit more support with the singstar selection. Even though the game is not as big in N. America as it is in Europe, there are still quite a few dedicated fans here.

I myself have quite a few girls that like to hop on my PS3 and hook up SingStar but one thing they always ask me, “Where are there barely any songs?! You should get more!” Well, I was very limited to say the least. Glad to see it’s expanding and hopefully it continues to be supported!

But I do have a problem with the security on there. I don’t play the game but when my friends play on my sytem and they go online, pretty much anyone can see your tag and I get harassed all the time. Even without uploading anything. If you are just friends with someone else who plays SingStar you can be seen through their profile.

I know others who have been harassed horribly on SingStar because of the community as well. Pretty malicious stuff. I just wish the security settings and customization was a bit more accessible.

  • Pretty good guys… Some good songs and great dance add-ons… Keep it coming ;)

  • Def Jam RapStar, DJ Hero, Rock Band, all get support almost every week with new content to download here in the US, maybe this will be a motivational factor in getting more stuff on the SS.

  • Thanks for the update! Going to the store buy my playstation network card now! Love them Fall out Boys songs .

  • lol@ the people complaining about lack of NA support…its simply because the game is not as popular around here – maybe if you got some friends to buy the game, more songs will be available.

I’m also pretty sure you can get those wireless mics imported and they should still work

  • Awesome list! I love getting dozens to choose from, plus there’s more than enough dance tracks each week. Unlike a certain other game which has released… 9… since launch.

  • @17 And that other game sold 1 million copies but the support is a joke… Singstar forever!!!

  • Sounds great, unfortunately all of my Singstar songs (over 200) are locked on my dead PS3 and cannot be dl’d on my new slim….can you fix this issue? It’s such a pain.

  • Keep em coming!! Thanx u sooo much SONY!!

  • WHERE
    ARE
    THE
    WIRELESS
    MICROPHONES
    ???????????
