That’s a wrap! Together with James from the EU PlayStation.Blog, Jeff, Rey, and I will soon be winding down for the holiday break. But this is no Blog blackout: The PlayStation.Blog will be going strong with fresh new posts helmed by some of the greatest game developers in the world. It starts tomorrow with Guerrilla Games and a unique look Christmas in Amsterdam. Insomniac Games and Sucker Punch Productions will also be spreading a little holiday cheer of their own. And later…well, who knows who else will drop by?
Looking back, 2010 was one hell of a year for PlayStation fans. We got great games like Heavy Rain, God of War III, Gran Turismo 5, MAG, and ModNation Racers; we got sweet new PSN video services such as Hulu Plus, (a disc-free) Netflix, VUDU, MLB.TV, and NHL.TV; we got PlayStation Move in all of its precise glory; we got stereoscopic 3D and Facebook integration and Share and HD PS2 classics and PlayStation Plus and betas and a LittleBigPlanet 2 demo and an UNCHARTED 3 announcement and a Twisted Metal E3 announcement and a bunch of other things I’m probably forgetting (feel free to remind us in the comments!)
Be happy, be healthy, and be good! And be sure to join us in 2011 for one of the wildest PlayStation software lineups of all time. I’m tingling already!

Happy holidays to everyone at SCEA. My favorite ps3 games for 2010 were Red Dead Redemption, God Of War 3, DeathSpank, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World:The Game and Castle Crashers.
Games of the year: GT5, Heavy Rain and God of War 3, Red Dead Redemption and Assasin’s Creed Brotherhood, but they are all great games.
2010 good year. 2011 great? we’ll see.

yeah this year has been amazing from a gaming standpoint.economic wise it wasnt the best. so, lets hope that next year will be a brighter year for everybody from the economy,health and a good influx of videogames and other type of content.my best wishes to everyone that works for/at scea,to all devs and their respective families as well…i suspect that next year will bring great surprises like the rumored psp2,playstation phone etc etc

PS3 is awesome! It only does everything! (but teaching babies to read, teach dogs to play checkers, make sandwiches, or turn into a robot that makes pizza, but pretty much everything else!)

PSP GOTY- Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker and Ghost of Sparta. Sorry I cant pick just one.
Honestly though, I have spent the most time playing Gran Turismo on both platforms. Then again I also love to drive.

Happy Holiday’s to the whole team behind the PSBlog. You guys did great this year. This blog use to be check for PSN Store updates to check every time I go on a Computer. Awesome posts from plenty of Game developers along with awesome video Interviews & Trailers. And gets super awesome when a developer leaves replies for questions asked. Not only that you guys implemented Playstation.blog share, so we can at least petition a few ideas that most people want. Cheers for another good year in 2011. (Which Obviously gonna be great year with PS3 huge Line up along with an incoming PSP2 release for next year.)

2010 was a great year for us and we all know that! Thanks for the hard work! My overall favorite game of PS3 was hard to choose because there’s so many I was thinking of but I’ll have to say Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots. I just can’t get enough of the game. Happy holidays Sid!
So far my favorite game was Home.

PS3 – Battletoads…. no wait, I meant .detuned.
PSP – Moprtal Kombat. Yeah I got my PSP late and a heck of a lot of games this year.
My favorite PS3 game of this year was MAG. Such an awesome accomplishment of how they manage to pull of 256 player gameplay without major problems. This year has been quite a blast with some up and downs but it still came out as a good year. Though next year shall be so much better with the releases, of Uncharted 3 Drakes Deception, Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect 2, LBP2, and so many other games that have either yet to be named or I just can’t name. I so can’t wait for next year. It shall be another great year for the PS3.

I know you sometimes have to sift through a lot of negative comments and off topic requests (I’ll save my questions about the craziness of the new forum for another time) but you should know that we appreciate the hard work that is put into the Blog.
Now, for Christmas, I am hoping for a powerful PS Phone, news of a PSP2, proper music and video stores in all regions, Chrome on the PS3 with a Move pointer, and a PSN messaging app for PSP and smartphones.
Of course, you could just get me into an Uncharted 3 beta, and that would make me just as happy.

Playstation game of the year is undoubtedly God of War 3. Epic ending to an epic saga with a surprising amount of depth in the end.
Heavy Rain is such a unique experience that none other game will give you ever.You really are the characters.You will feel the tension while playing this game and it has sooo much replay value.The game is difficult i tell u.
Oscar worthy story,Fantastic Experience.

Because I got my PS3 this year with LittleBigPlanet Game of the Year Edition, I’ll say that’s my favorite game. I spend alot of time creating levels,although they aren’t as good as some that I find over the community U.U , but it’s cool.
My fav. PSP game is Silent Hill Origin’s (is the only game I got for the PSP though)
