PlayStation Nation,
In just six short days, the franchise that revolutionized the racing category as we know it will be making its exclusive debut on PlayStation 3. Gran Turismo 5 will be racing onto store shelves this coming Wednesday, November 24. This highly anticipated installment will no doubt raise the bar on the franchise’s unparalleled graphics, presentation and gameplay – bringing you an experience so life-like you’ll find it hard to distinguish from a live race.
While we think features such as the all-new Course Maker, an expansive online racing community built right in, stereoscopic 3D compatibility and more than 1,000 cars from the world’s top manufacturers, including karts and select NASCAR cars, speak for themselves, we still couldn’t resist giving one of our most anticipated and loved franchises the “Kevin Butler” treatment. In this latest ad, we find Kevin Butler taking a call from a devoted Gran Turismo fan anxiously waiting for the game’s release. In between showing off his own real-life GT garage and some serious stuntman skills, Kevin fills us in on just how many amazing features were added to GT5 in order to bring you the greatest racing game of all time.
As always you’re the first to see the new ad here but you can also check it out when the Indianapolis Colts take on the New England Patriots on CBS this Sunday as well as on some other great NFL match-ups and many of your favorite shows in the weeks to come.
With the holidays just around the corner, we couldn’t be more excited to welcome GT5 into a robust product lineup that includes PlayStation Move and an exciting roster of Move titles, UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves Game of the Year Edition, The Sly Collection, and much more. There’s something for everyone so spread the word and get PS3 on as many holiday shopping lists as you can.
See you in stores on Wednesday and more importantly online in GT5!
I’m going to watch the Colts Deystoy the New England Patriots:)
Fantastic commercial. KB’s laugh was the exclamation point!
@twooh, IT HAS MORE REALISTIC THEN THAT RIP-OFFF fORZA, OR ANY OTHER cONSOLE rACING SIM.
Great ad.
Did you really mean it that the cars are his? And that he’s a real pro driver? If so, you really need to dedicate a post for this! And make it something with GT5!
:)
KB is still funny… forget these lame ducks who think he’s not funny anymore… Why ya gotta be so serious????
GT5 is gonna be great… can’t wait..
i’d like to see how Kinect would make a racing game more fun….!??! More stupid probably…

Seriously, you need to bronze this guy. How can anyone ever replace Kev B?
Kevin do a commercial for “It only does” too many video services, not enough other features.
LOL, that was good !!
I hope this is one of MANY, this one is funny but ends to fast
I don’t like racing game at all — in fact, I don’t even own one. But, there’s something about the GT series that always makes my jaw drop. I think I’m going to give in for this.
…do they even air these? It looks like you have the budget to shoot it, but not air it.
muhahahahahaha
LOL KB FTW, I can’t wait to pick up my collector’s edition, WAIT FOR ME KB, MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! 8P 8)
That ad was epic
So not only is Kevin a VP with more titles than a library, but he’s also a professional driver? Is there nothing that this God-like man can’t do?!
Please market this properly. A game like this deserves to sell millions.

This is a great commercial for Gran Turismo 5 and for Sony/Playstation 3. The Kevin Butler treatment is a great addition to marketing but should not be the only resort.
Seeing an additional commercial that looks more like a trailer for Gran Turismo 5 would be awesome. A cinematic presentation with some amazing music in the background would bring this game to life.
I can’t wait for this game to push the Playstation 3 all the way to the top. GT5!
This commercial just guaranteed the selling of another copy.
One of my favorite commercials EVER!
I almost cried here.
Too funny.
