The hype train finally pulls up to the PlayStation 3 promising to deliver a blockbuster experience when you take on the role of an elite special units officer engaging in classified operations and saving the world from destruction — all in a days work. Sure, the Call of Duty franchise is popular for its excellent and silky smooth multiplayer, but call me old fashioned, I’m looking forward to its epic story and single player campaign.

  • Woho Black Ops and Sly!

  • @47 ReyGutierez
    Dam! that’ll take “Por Siempre!”
    Hahahahaha XD

  • sorry folks , the release of dora the explorer has been canceled because the government has determined that Swipers swiping could lead to deviant behavior in young children . meanwile in other news … steven seagal is producing a morning childrens program entitled ” Sit down an shut up , or i’ll break one of your limbs ” … ahhhh dont you just love it when the government tells you what’s good for your child ?

  • lol ily rey ur hilarious

  • Every Black Ops commercial I’m seeing on TV is followed only by an Xbox 360 logo. Some even end with “Play Black Ops on the Xbox 360”.. One of the biggest games to launch this year and Microsoft has the marketing tied up for it all like it’s an exclusive! Sony is waving the white flag this holiday.

  • Rey, any chance of the Apache Air Assault demo landing on the PlayStation store on Tuesday?

Any chance of offering The Last Guy for PS+? could you suggest it?

  • sly is already coming out? that seemed fast.

  • @37 Your barking up the wrong tree..
    Namco-Bandai decides what happens
with DBZ TTT , and they already said
“we have no plans to release on the PS
Store… other than just the demo.”

So scolding Sony for the decisions of a
separate company over and over is just silly…
and only serves to make you look foolish to those
who have done their homework, and are not.

  • Will be getting sly collection, pale mist and scott pilgrim on blu ray man im broke

  • OMG magic unicorns… Rey are you secretly stating that you’re starting a magical drug operation with that post and your comment about that being the highlight of you’re career ;)

  • Can you please tell me why COD:Black Ops does not support multi PSN login support? Why is this feature not being supported by the developers on the PS3? Can we get some information regarding this?

  • Anyone who buys Call of Duty: Black Ops over The Sly Collection isn’t a real gamer.

  • I hope everyone will be getting Dora. Dora and Diego co-op >>>> Black Ops and Sly Collection.

  • I myself will be picking up COD and Sly. Really excited about the Sly collection as I only played part of the first one and was never able to finish it.

  • Oh my god thank you guys for not overlooking Knights in the Nightmare. That game needs more recognition.

  • GT5 release date. We haven’t one.

  • The Sly Collection sounds very cool. Wish there was a new Sly game for the PS3 too! Hopefully this collection will sell a lot and the developer will finally make a new one. *hopes*

  • Do I see Mike Haggar in the minis banner?

  • Woo! Looks like I’m the first and only person to comment about Monster Jam.

Rey, some retailers are showing a 11/23 release date for Monster Jam on the PS3. The 11/9 date on the PSP looks like it still stands.

    Can you confirm?

  • Will Crescent Pale Mist be releasing with a demo?

  • Call of Duty: Black Ops
    Call of Duty: Black Ops
    Call of Duty: Black Ops
    Call of Duty: Black Ops

  • first off will there actually be trophies in the new sly games??? has anyone actually confirmed this??? second i really can’t wait for Black Ops!!! pre-ordered it near the beginning!!! midnight release… but i have only one worry… will black ops follow where so many have and have online trophies??? one of the major things that killed uncharted 2 and killzone 2, medal of honor, etc… i mean i platinumed medal of honor cause i couldn’t stop playing but i hate needing online trophies to platinum a game!!! i am just hoping for some good online play and no need to try to do anything special in the online play!!! either way i won’t be discouraged but i will be dissapointed if i will be forced to fight for online trophies!!!

  • Can you please confirm if Apache Air Assault is really coming this week? All major gaming store websites have it listed with a release date of 11/16 next week. I am pretty excited about this game so if it comes out this week instead of next I will be a really happy camper.

    Thanks!

  • Trophies Anonymous can help… they are
there for you 24/7 to help you get over your
addiction, and help you on your way to recovery.

  • I cant wait to get sly. Woot 100+ Trophies Mahaha

  • Sly Cooper FTW, if there is a bundle for fight. with a single motion controller, i might buy it. one player needs two and i just have one, no one has them where i live

  • Any updates for Dead Nation? The anticipation is truly grueling!

  • “or beat someone down until they dance.” LOOOL.
Ok I had to post that. It was too funny.
back to finish reading the post.

  • I forgot Knights in the Nightmare was coming to the PSP. I loved the DS version and defiantly will be picking this up.

  • Im gonna be getting Black Ops and Sly Collection for Christmas to pair with my new TV. This is a great drop but did you guys have to mention the Dora game on the PS2?

  • Can’t wait to beat up some homeless bums in The Fight

  • It’s too bad, but there won’t be a Crescent Pale Mist demo.

  • This weekly release post is a great idea. I’m not sure if it’s been done on the site before, but I definitely recommend you make this a regular thing. Very useful.

  • sly ftmfw! i hardly got to play sly 3D because it was stolen along with a bunch of my niece’s games. (swiper no swiping) i still got those glasses though. she’ll enjoy the collection on ps3 and she is a little girl. black ops is on my timed exclusion list till the next title comes out and/or i get a great deal.

  • Sly collection- Do want.

  • Why not just admit that GT5 isn’t coming out this year or any other year and put it out of our misery. That game has slowly gone from the game that (didn’t) launch PS3 to the game that will kill it.

  • I would get SingStar Dance, but there’s no localised versions for us here in East Asia (AKA, the birthplace of karaoke, where its popularity remains unrivalled to this day) :D

I just can’t bring myself to buy SingStar, create a fake UK/US PSN ID, import a couple of wireless mics, and buy a UK/US PSN card to play a game that it seems Sony don’t want me to play.

Please, someone at SingStar, bring us a local version, or at least let us buy US/UK songs with our own PSN accounts. Even if it had just English songs it’d still be popular here. If it had some Chinese/Japanese/Korean songs it would be huge.

The Fight looks great though. After mixed reviews I’m going to wait for a demo first, though. Otherwise it could be another Kung Fu Rider and I wouldn’t even know until it was too late

  • Rey… quick question

    Do you sing?

If so, will you be posting SingStar videos of yourself singing on the web?

  • Rey make sure psp gets good content because tomorrow my Birthday!!!!!

  • I have been waiting for the sly collection, never played them on the ps2 but they look sweet in HD on the ps3 plus it will give me another game to play while I wait for AC: brotherhood

  • October 8th, 25 days since the delay of GT5, 6 days since Nov 2nd, GT5’s previously planned release date. Still no new date.

    Goodnight and Good luck.

  • I’m getting Black Ops and The Sly Collection. I can’t thank Sony enough for making a these great collections. Someone asked me the other day what were my top 5 games of all time and Number 4 and 5 were The Sly Collection and Team Ico Collection.

  • NOVEMBER 27TH for GT5

Look it up, I could be wrong

  • Rey can you include demos in the drop from now on?

  • Dora FTW lol, CoD, GT5, hint hint, Sly, MonsterJam, Awesome stuff!!! 8)

  • another weak update for psp.oh well i guess there is nothing you can do when Sony neglects their own system.

  • No PS1 classic releases this week?

Can we get the reason as to why Vagrant Story is still missing from the US store when the european on had is since December 2009?

  • sure I lost you…
