I hope Sony is reading these mainly negative comments and gets a clue. I’ve had a PS3 for years, and I thought PS+ was going to be for people like me, hardcore gamers, not new/casual PS3 owners. Oh well. I’ve wasted $50 on worse things. Still, unless things improve substantially, I’m not renewing my subscription.
I’d rather pay more and actually get quality content, than the bi-weekly garbage dump they’re offering us suckers.I’ve used one discount so far Pixeljunk Racers 2nd Lap and I saved a whopping $1.50. The only other offer I took advantage of was the Street Fighter Avatar Bundle for $5.
Please personalize PS+ for its subscribers. Let people vote for some of the content, or even better automatically tailor the service. Sony could for example look at how much I’ve spent on PSN games over the years and consider hooking me up with better than this garbage and not offer me games I already own.

Ever get that feeling that you made a bad purchase decision? I’m getting it right about NOW…. Unless things turn for the better I can’t see signing up after my 15 months are up.
I don’t buy anything from the store unless its DLC for a game I own and love like Borderlands. I wait on things now that I have +. It sounds stupid but I figure if this investment is going to pay for itself then I’m gonna wait on PSN to give me free stuff. Mushroom Wars is another title (along with Wipeout HD) that I count on that list of free games so far, even though I don’t think I’m ever going to play Mushroom Wars. Honestly I hardly play Wipeout HD and its got a platinum to earn! It would be nice to see more “Core Gamer” content being offered up to us day one investors. I love my PS3 but I am not impressed with the direction of the PS+ service thus far. Hopefully in the coming months the content takes a turn for the better as we are all expecting.
@105 Yeah your brother is not the brightest bulb. Im a 26 Year old Marine Corps Iraq War Veteran, two times over… That being said I LOVE Critter Crunch. You should just download it and play it till he sees its entertaining.

Still glad I didn’t buy ps+ when it came out. I always thought how funny it was that Sony did not offer a free month trial. Now it all makes perfect sence. Sony?? are you reading these comments?

Wow Sony… really going out of your way there. Just when I thought Rally Cross was the worst possible PSone game you could give us…
So, are we ever going to get an explanation as to why Plus subscribers aren’t getting any dynamic themes, avatars, or add-on content for the month? Or is Sony content with screwing us over and sweeping complaints under the rug?

I’m going to add my disappointment to the mix, even if it’s apparent that Sony has stopped responding to posts on its american blog. Part of why I subscribed to PS+ was that I saw that EU was getting Zen Pinball and Medeival for their Month 2. And I was like – cool, those are some good titles, I’d gladly put down now for the extra free months if that kinda stuff is coming down the pipeline, even if I already owned WipEout HD. And then the US got a completely different update, and I was disappointed, but Critter Crunch was a good game that I also had already picked up, and Syphon Filter had been well-received back in the day.
But now, in Month 3, EU is getting the complete season of Sam and Max, and Oddworld. And we’re getting scraps.
I have to live with my decision to adopt based on my assumption, but the fact that I know that there’s a better PS+ out there may mean that I create an EU account and pay for + there when my year is up. Get it together, SCEA, you’re isolating the target demographic.
Why can’t we choose from PS+ USA and PS+ EU???
They have much better games this and next month!!!

as a ps + member who is going to thankfully lose that dreadful plus sign on my profile . my recommendation to all who have not purchased it ? DONT . its just not a well rounded product , use that money to play NEW games , use that money to get content everybody envys you for having . their is just absolutly nothing exclusive about being able to play for free “tired games ” . their is nothing special or exclusive about getting avatars and such AFTER the entire community has a wack at it first , and their is nothing special about being able to automatically download old content you dont want to play … meanwhile you would like to redownload a game you already purchased … but it wants 413 min of your time …. seriously … WHERE IS THE “ELEVATE ” PART OF THE SERVICE ? but anyhow Im glad i only purchased the 3 month bendover … my condolances go out to those cursed with the yellow plus sign for a year .

I noticed that none of these bloggers have never really reply to ps plus suscribers. they only reply to the positive comments which is rare also.In my opinion that is kind of weak on Sony part.
Oh well disappointed again this month, already got the Mushroom wars back when it was discounted. I’d like to see options. Like for them to say this month you can either get “game a” or “game b” for free or something like that. this way they could put something from both sides of the fence. That and the DLC deals need to have more of them. Was hoping I could have used my Playstation+ to get the new DLC for Red Dead when it was released. But it’s kind of like buying one of those mystery grab bags.
Perhaps this wasn’t intended to be a program “for” the core gamers but more of a ploy to get more people to use and browse the PSN store.
I just tell myself it can’t go any further downhill than it already has. 1st month, awesome though by the way.
I want Pain, and Zen Pinball DLC FREE (take it away when my sub expires if you want). That would actually be cool.

mushroom wars is an alright game people but i never really thought it was worth paying for, but its an ok deal
yea but still so far to me this was a waste of money considering the weak games they have to offer
but i kind of thought they would feed us crap and mainly did it to help out Sony to improve the stuff

Damn US has got nothing good yet that I don’t already have, I want more discounted DLC and discounted games, please Borderlands DLC discount! and discount on Deathspank and Scott Pilgrim. Why does EU get all the best stuff: Zen Pinball, Sam and Max!!!, and Motorstorm DLC.
