Superman Returns was a horrible movie and a worse sequel. Seriously, who wants to see Superman get tortured for 10 minutes? Who wants to see him not fight an epic villain for 3 hours?

Seriously, I watched Superman Returns again a few days ago and he was screaming like a little girl in the torture scene. It was completely NOT Superman. Kryptonite doesn’t make him a wuss, it just makes him feel weakened and lose his powers

aside from the kid, which was kinda odd and tacked on.. what didnt you like about superman returns..
the whole DCAU (aside from the Zeta Project) is awesome, even Static Shock was good (albeit a bit educational)
everything, superman was lame, he was basically clark kent the whole movie and kate blue crush isn’t lois lane

I actually didn’t mind the kid, but there were a lot of things wrong with Superman Returns. Of 5 movies, you’d think they’d have a cooler villain to use than the one that appears in practically all of them. Zod was the best one by far.
Also, torture scene was lame. Kryptonite Island that was somehow picked up was lame. Bullet in eye was lame. Movie was too long, lame…WRONG!

i love me some dcau i watching every episode. i about halfway through with batman. i mean i can understand you wanting a more actiony cooler superman. but there was nothing truly wrong with the movie.
