i won all the jumpstart computer games from a kmart when i was like 5 lol

my egg chicken thing lol. i didnt finish it cuz i assume everyone has heard it. but just in case, “I think i came first”
but yea, the only other thing bad about Dark Void was every now and then, an enemy would somehow go somewhere it wasn’t supposed to and the framerate would turn to like 3 FPS, which is a lot more painful on the eyes than I thought it would be…surprisingly I was able to survive 3 times like this, both in the game and in real life (the issue gets fixed if the enemy gets killed)

What was good about Dark Void? Great concept, interesting story, and the gameplay wasn’t too bad. It’s also a pretty easy Trohpy/Achievement game for those people that like those.

give a quick summary of the story
If I were to rate Dark Void, I’d give it a 6 out of 10. It’s playable and it could be fun, but there are issues that keep it from going up in score.

Average middle-age man Will (voiced by Nolan North, who isn’t these days?) has to fly a plane out somewhere with who he finds out is his ex-girlfriend. The game takes place like after World War 2 I think (or before, I don’t remember, doesn’t really matter though). Flying the plane, get caught in a mysterious storm over the Bermuda Triangle, get attacked by cyborg race of aliens and Will gets a jetpack and fights them off with a resistance in the “Void”.

All the while, Will is trying to express his feelings for his ex-girlfriend, which they both seem to still love eachother but she apparently moved on. Emotional struggle in games? Is this madness?

Wii’s catching up though, and PS2 wasn’t a very reliable system. I happen to know a lot of people that bought new PS2’s because their old one crapped out on them.
let me better explain my comment. I am mad bcuz jumpstart sux now and it proly sux even worse on the wii. I am sad bcuz they changed jumpstart, and bcuz i want the original goodness available across all consoles!

yea, but thats not a good way to base a claim. You wouldn’t know unless you played. Even then, if it uses the Wii’s pointer, I can’t see how gameplay could change in too many ways.
and i know for a fact that nothing can be better than playing marbles and pogs on the kindergarten playground. something that has likely no chance of surviving into the latest incarnations.
