Great update. I’ve really been looking forward to trying Darksiders.
I still need to get Uncharted 2, I just can’t afford it right now. I got Heavy Rain, and need to buy FF13, Gow3 and Dragon Age Awakening, but after that, there’s nothing I’m buying at retail (except maybe SSF4) until the Fall, or whenever iD’s RAGE comes out, so I should be able to buy Uncharted 2 this spring or early summer.
To the people who asked, yes, this is the same E3 2009 demo. I’m not really sure why they didn’t make an updated demo for public release being this is such an old build and the game looks so much better now, but whatever, this demo is good too. It’s just not really representative of the final product.

Good update. Finally, a ps one true classic to download. Please continue to update the store with more rpgs. Were are all the squaresoft games. Itunes got Final Fantasy 1 and 2 today (based on our psp version of the game) for $8.99 each. While our psn store is mysteriously missing FF 1 and 2, crisis core, psp tactics, and most of their line up, please fix this. Also please try to get glu games to make psp minis they came out with an awsome transformer stratagy game today for ipod, which would look great on my psp. The store is getting better. Please keep the good games coming. Also please make is manditory for all psp game developers to have to release a downloadable version of the game (not all new releases are making it to the psn store.) Another idea would be to sell the umds with a downloadable version of the game (similar to the dvd and blue ray movies. Thanks for reading.

There are over 400 games available for download for the PSP and PSPgo, and the PSPgo has been out less than 5 months. If that isn’t supporting the platform I don’t know what it. If that is not good enough then there is no hope satisfying you.
As for Vagrant Story, contact the publisher, they are the ones who aren’t releasing it on the PSN, not Sony. The same goes for any and all other PS1 Classics you keep whining about. If the publisher wants to sell it on the store, Sony will sell it on their store, they have no reason not to. My guess is the publisher does not have the legal right to release it anymore. Those game rights expire you know.
Where the hell are the baseball game demos? Even Xbox got a MLB2k10 demo. What a joke.

BTW, I have a UK account as well so I also follow their blog each week to keep up with their updates just like I do on this one. So, checking that weekly I noticed that Mike is REALLY good about communicating with the people who care enough to ask questions, as opposed to Grace, who doesn’t really seem to care at all about communicating.

So is it safe to assume we are not going to get any more Final Fantasies for the PSP? It’s almost blasphemous that at launch the following games were not available for the PSP Go:

Sony, please keep in mind the pirates are working fast to hack the Go and bring the games the people want to this system. It doesn’t take a brain surgeon to understand that these are killer games which need to be on the store. With every passing week with no more real hits for the PSP Go, you’re making everyone who bought one of these systems regret it more and more.
If this doesn’t get 5 starred by everyone then there’s some haters in the crowd (as if that weren’t obvious from prior Thursday updates) because this has something for everyone and in my case several things. God of War 3 demo?! Definitely. New FREE Tester episode in 720p (we can hope for 1080p soon), love it. Jaffe raggin’ on some random, greatness. MAG dynamic themes for each army? Hell yes, Raven all the way. Greed Corp is a must get as well as Warhawk now that it’s a no risk price with all expansions for $25. Not to mention Borderlands largest and most worthwhile expansion yet! Jesus this one is for the books people.
Awesome update this week since I am one of the few who hasn’t played the GOW3 demo yet and don’t own Darksiders. Smart move on Sony’s part to put it up since the Darksiders demo also came out today (even though GOW3 will most likely be a TON better). Now that the Battlefield demo has ended I’ve got 2 new demos to keep me busy :)

Another thing about PSN, is it possible to have the trailers, wallpapers, and themes get a check mark by them once we’ve downloaded them? I have a hard time remembering what I’ve already downloaded. Demos and games get a red symbol once we’ve downloaded them.So free stuff should get a check mark or something.
Do you think North America will get the FFXIII demo?

Great update!! See how much the PS fanbase loves rpgs and the ps1/2 classic rpgs and hits? A lot so get more classics on the store pronto! Please. Suikoden 2, Vagrant Story, Chorno Cross, Legend of Dragoon, Legend of legia, Parasite eve 1/2, Vandel Hearts 1/2, Mega Man Legends 1-3, Bushido Blade 1/2, Diablo, Alundra, Deception1/2, Beyond the Beyond, Ogre Battle, Ogre Tactics, Loaded, ReLoaded, etc… Come on Sony, I owned all these games and wound up selling all my ps1 games and console back in 2001 to pay for rent. I would love to give you guys money and buy them again. How can you refuse that?

Week after week a large group of us ask where the PSP Go titles are? You know, the hundreds of UMD titles we can’t play on our PSP Go…
Week after week we get zero responses. Not even an acknowledgment. I’m officially regretting my purchase. Not because the games aren’t there but because the customer service is so poor that we can go months asking the same questions and receive no response. Is Sony related to Toyota?
I’d appreciate these PS Classics more if they stopped playing favorites and priced them all at $5.99. Was Grandia something special compared to its competition when it was released? Sure. Is it today? Not even and surely not any more so than any of the regularly priced classics such as RE2.

Please update the prices of the digital games to match their umd counterparts so I will actually buy them. Resistence umd sells for $15 on amazon, Persona $22 on amazon, FF disgea $29 on amazon. I enjoy my psp go, but refuse to be ripped off.

Thanks for Grandia. I don’t think the pspgo users would be as upset with the psp store updates if we didn’t enjoy our pspgo’s as much as we do. Also I don’t think we’d be as upset with the ps one updates, if we didn’t know what a great catalog of games there are to pick from. Surely, if someone can find the time to put such games as pinball and bassmaster in the store, someone should be able to find the time to put the rpgs that we love to play in the store. Sony great update this week, but on the whole u can do better and we expect better.
