Over last month’s holiday break, I vowed to do something I failed to do in 2006 – complete Final Fantasy XII. Well, a month+ of hard work later, the deed is done (as of 10am this morning). I feel like a haze (mist?) has lifted, as I haven’t played anything else in the interim, let alone watch TV or see any movies. Did I miss anything?
The timing is good – MAG deploys Tuesday, with White Knight Chronicles the week after. And of course, I’ll be able to tackle Final Fantasy XIII with a clear conscience in March.

With the high production vales that rival even the Uncharted series how can there be no sequel to Heavenly Sword? the foundation to a sequel would be excellent development wise, its gone platinum and has a big fan base. Are things between Ninja Theroy and Sony THAT bad or what?

A real shame that Sony stubbornly refuse to offer a Games On Demand service like Microsoft, even just a few select titles, something I asked about last year on the blog. It would be an infinitely better use of resources than the waste of time that is Home.
Sony started well with some full games like Warhawk but dropped the ball. It seems Microsoft have really forged ahead this generation.

@43 Think how fast that would fill your Hard Drive! The Beta files were over 5 gig, and thats just a little part of the experience.

So we’re getting new God Of War 3 details this week =D
Jeff, i will not count you as a true final fantasy fan until you play 9 lol. it is the best game in the series in my opinion. not sure how much other people like it but i thought it was great. havent played it in few years but one awesome thing i remember is how you can make the black mage(vivi) and the soldier guy(steiner i think?) team up and the black mage will basically enchant his sword with whatever magic he can use for one strike.
i know im tremendously late and off topic..but im guessin we will soon be able to use our OWN CUTSOM AVATAR because of the ones your game developers use.im sure they will imput that in the premium (paying)psn accounts..i would jump on that wagon if there is alot more to it but definitly not because of custom avatars :P

Thinking about pre ordering the special editions of Bioshock 2 and Heavy Rain. Both packages in Europe look amazing. Not sure yet, got a lot of on my mind that I don’t feel like buying any games atm.
Too bad the motion wand slash arc slash sphere slash whatever-kind-of-name-will-be-tagged-to-it is postponed. Though I hear that Wii exclusives are hitting the PS3 like Grand Slam Tennis, EA active. I also hope Boom Blox for instance and perhaps Kororinpa, the final game wasn’t published by Ninty. Great games for the motion controls. Wish its look would change though :-? Still have difficulties with it.
so they have gt5 coming out because i have gt5 prologue gg little hard to feather on the throtle with a sixax controler but still really good. oh one other thing see you removed alot of my words. dose not make me happy from 1 inc to another. you control the fun i power it. look my name up then look WVHYDRO funny thing is they all match. where you make the electicity do wonderful thing i just make the power that runs it. nice being able to do as you please when where and how. gives me alot of time to play games.

UGH JEFF!!!! My internet has been goin off every 6-10 minutes and the only thing I have been able to play has been Hotshots Golf 2 — which you got me addicted to in the first place back in 2008? with the PlaystationBlog’s Bday meet up.
I’m gonna beat you at your own game next time there’s a meet up I can attend!
I only want two things:
1.) Sony to get namco to bring Tales of Vespira port stateside.
2.) put ps3 classic people actually want. I mean, come on, the last one I saw was a Fishing game for god’s sake.
! I also failed to finish FFXII back then. I’m working on it now. I am requiring myself to finish it so I can play Dragon Age: Origins, or it’ll never happen! Oh, and before I play FFXIII)
At least I wasn’t alone in doing this, hehe =)
