  • I am ,definitely, buying ZEN Pinball and Braid. Two amazing games that I thought were overpriced and waited to go on sale.

By the way, Critter Crunch was one of the best, most entertaining puzzle games I have played in a long time. Very few games make me want to play them to death nowadays and Critter Crunch was one of them. I really enjoyed completing everything on that game and multiplayer is top notch!

  • @ jelly_bean

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories came out on the PSN Tuesday lol.

  • Woahoahoa! Braid on sale now? Glad I waited a little while.

Note to others BUY CRITTER CRUNCH it is an AMAZING game even for the original price.

I might have to pick up crystal defenders as well, we’ll see.

Thanks for the sale guys. You need to find more excuses for sales more often.

  • Hey – remember those things called minis that you can play on PS3/PSP – what ever happened to those? Keep them coming. There’s one on the European PSN called Dracua that looks awesome, I’d sure pay for it.

  • Nice Update. Can we please have some more FREE Avatars, X-Game Voice Chat, Party System, ETC.

At those games prices, even with very little in the bank account , I will be picking them up. I really appreciate the price drop.

    As always, PSBlog FTW!!

  • I’m just like Kuraudoffxi and Veign still waiting for Vagrant Story. Seriously, Championship Bass? REALLY? Well at least there’s DJ Max Fever.

  • To be honest, I’d rather have sales than new games, at least for now anyways. I’m definitely picking up Braid and Zen Pinball. Not sure about Gravity Crash yet. I already have Critter Crunch and that game is amazing so if anyone is on the fence with that one, BUY IT!

  • Look. Great update and everything, but there’s two major issues.

    1) Vandal Hearts – there’s no demo. That’s because you don’t require a demo. That means I’m probably not going to buy it since I don’t want to just jump into a game I know nothing about without sampling it. XBLA has a demo. Get a demo.

    2) Avatars – did you guys just release those Sackboy avatars once after IGN wrote an article about how you guys still haven’t released avatars? You can’t just stop afterwards. Everybody has a Sackboy avatar on my friends list. Why not keep releases consistent? Add a few new avatars from different games per week, build a library so everybody’s avatar won’t be the same thing.

  • Well, this update is definitely better than the one from last week. Bravo!

  • cool I just got online and bought Critter Crunch as soon as I saw this. I may have to breakdown and get UNO also.

  • Damn wish I had the cash for the MGS bundle, that would have been nice to shed the UMDs I have since I know I won’t sell them personally.

Anyway PSOne title at least it is something. However in FFXI Autotranslate Speak:

    FF9, Vagrant Story,

  • PLEASE BRING HARVEST MOON.

  • The special offers are AMAZING! Please do more in the future!

  • i think this update is a little better than last weeks espeaclily now that the ps1 classics are still going, thats a good thing to know. i really wish you guys though would give us a little warning about sales on the store, that would kinda help some of us out.

by the way what ever happened to echoshift,I thought this was coming out back in december? hope this is still planned on being realeased.

  • @2/9, agreed. It shouldn’t be difficult for Sony to maintain a consistent update time. Also, this update was just as bad as last week, Sony just doesn’t like money apparently. It’d be nice to actually see some decent content on the store sometime this year.

Another thing that bothers me is how Sony has been bumping the Avatars section all the way to the top under “New Releases” yet there is not one new avatar since their exposure in late December.

Last I checked, new releases are meant to be releases on THE DAY, not something that came out on December 21st….Get it together, Sony.

  • Braid, Critter Crunch, Gravity Crash, Uno… a perfect use for the $20 PSN card I bought!

(…even though I *was* saving it for that Gunbird 2 remix…)

  • I think I would feel better about no demo’s if I didn’t see the 3 videos for Darksiders and one for Sonic and Sega Racers and Vancouver 2010 (which got a demo last week somewhere) and a bunch of others. I figured with all of those videos I was looking past there must be a demo following them up somewhere, especially after last week. WKC, SO:LH, Bioshock 2 and Dark Rain all come out next month so I guess the demos are coming, would just like to see them spread out a bit not all at once. This would’ve been a good week for 1 ;-) Will buy Critter Crunch and probably Zen Pinball so maybe next week for demos?

  • Well it looks like I’ll be trying out Braid now. And maybe Critter Crunch since #50 said it was an entertaining puzzle game lol.

I need a break from FFXIII anyways, the Chapter 12 Boss is giving me trouble.

  • Well I guess I’ll pick up zen pinball now and maybe even Uno but, it’s still not the greatest update. I’d still like to see a lot of the old PS1 RPGs in the store but, we get Championship Bass? Name one fishing game that took the gaming world by storm? And for you complainers about the complainers, we have a right to our opinions so stop making idiots out of yourselves by bashing people’s opinions who aren’t the same as yours.

  • I wish they would put PSOne Classics on sale at some point. Its always PSN or PSP games so far which is great, but they should show some more support to their classic platform. :)

  • I don’t think we’ll ever see Demon’s Souls Dinamic theme in the US…sigh

  • Very cool that DJ Max Fever is a download game now. Need to get more memory sticks now…

  • @49

A developer posted in the hustle kings thread on the PSU downloadable games forum. The game’s coming out on the 28th

  • I’ve just noticed SH Shattered Memories in the PS Store at my PS3. Please update the post cause you didn’t include SH Shattered Memories in the PlayStation Store for PSP. And thanks for the update. Better than ever :D

  • Still no hustle kings but much better than last week. It’s early in the year give em a break lol

  • Vagrant Story please!

    Other than that, nice update.

  • Pretty sweet deal Im going to buy me some Critter Crunch,Burn Zombie Burn,Savage Moon: The Hera Campaign, and Braid

  • me want more premium avatars!!!!!!

  • Thanks for the update

Demon’s souls dynamic theme would be awesome

  • Good update but i would have loved it if there were a Vandal hearts demo, i want to buy the game but not too sure

  • Um seriously? Championship bass? Sorry not a classic. N um u guys do realize that u said 10 games but u listed 12. Not complaining but it explains why u can’t update the store with a schedule. If u can’t count how can u possibly tell time. Lol. Also this sale isn’t really that enticing for psp owners like me. The money would be better spent on psp classics or that metal gear pack or even vandal hearts.

  • I want Crisis core please.

  • I want the Japanese Demon’s Souls dynamic theme.

  • It’s 12 for 2010 @ half off.

  • Kurulin Fusion? Mine!

I now know what it feels like to pay full-price shortly before a sale. Sucks. Still, not as bad for me since I bought it three or so weeks ago rather than one.

  • I already on Braid on PC…they just sold me a 2nd copy.

  • YES!! Time to pick up “Braid” and “Critter Crunch”!!!! This kicks the update up to 11!!

  • Championship Bass for PS1 is actually the best selling title in Sports/Racing category on Japanese PSN PS1 Achieves at the moment, believe it or not.

  • Critter Crunch is an unbelievable deal for $3.50, everyone should give it a shot, you won’t regret it. Even at the full price it is so worth it, a more enjoyable game than most $10 games.

Also, Braid is a decent deal at the sale price, especially if you’re into the whole game as art piece/experience thing. Some excellent sales, thanks.

  • Braid will be a nice adition to my PSN collection.

For all of those asking for Hustle Kings: It must come down next Thursday since the word on the PlayStation boards that info was post, they are just not saying it here yet because they would have something to post about next week.

For all of those asking for Heavy Rain Demo: David Cage insist that a demo would be a lovely idea but still a 50/50 chance happening. If the demo would come it will be around 2 or 1 week before they release the game, in this case it could be on the 11th or 18th of February. He said that to some users on the IGN site via private messages, since He has a IGN Blog section in it. Then again it makes it unofficial if this true or not. Not even the Europe blog guys (which are more social and responsive to questions and comments more that some here even if they don’t have info of it) Don’t have a clue if a Demo will come.

  • no crisis core again this week..very disappointing..feel like going to the sony store and chuck the pspgo at them..my GOD how long do they plan to keep crisis core off PSN

  • Nice update for this week, I hope it gets better along time. Please bring us some JRPG to PS1 classics and more demos, please!!

  • THIS STORE UPDATE IS WEAK..SONY,I KNOW ITS NOT EASY TO HAVE A BRANDSPANKIN NEW GAME EVERY WEEK..BUT ATLEAST HAVE NEW AVATARS(WHICH BY THE WAY IS RIDICULOUS TO SELL BECUZ THE BOX ALLOWS YOU TO CUSTOMIZE YOUR OWN-IM NOT A BOXHEAD..IM JUS POINTING THAT OUT :P)AND BETTER PS1 GAMES..AND NEW DYNAMIC THEMES.HOPEFULLY NEXT WEEK :/ ALTHOUGH I AM LIKING THEM 10*4*10 SALES..I HOPE THERE WILL BE OTHER OFFERS NEX WEEK TOO

  • I did not know that changing my 3000 for a PSP go meant i would miss out on so many great PSP games (FF Crisis Core)

If this is how PS manages a download only console, then im very dissapointed

  • I’ll never complain about PSN sales – they are my weakness :)

I’m picking up everything on sale for PS3 that I don’t already have (Gravity Crash, ZEN, Critter, Braid, and Uno)

  • @84

    You and me both

  • ok then, i just miss the mag beta :(

  • Sweet! I already had Burn Zombie Burn though great to see some games preices lowered.

  • pfff just bought UNO two days ago… why wasn’t I told it was going to be on sale? (refund please? in store credit will be fine)
