Today is Playstation’s 15th birthday, so you would think that today would be pretty awesome for PS3 and PSP owners. I honestly was expecting all kinds of wallpapers and stuff celebrating this, and maybe even a free game or two. But I should have known that this wouldn’t have happened. I mean, they didn’t even mention it anywhere in the update. Figures. :(
I usually hate the people that say what a meh update and whatnot, but this is definitely a meh update. and the first one in 10 days, maybe I just expected better..

Ah, I hear ya. I played the PSP version and it was nice to have extra content/job classes. Yeah, sony and 3rd party developers (who also have to play a part in preparing games for digital dload) should really pick up the pace.

Well, there were some rumors about a team from Sony tweaking Bayonetta, in order to match X360 version. I`ll download the new demo, and compare it with Japanese version, and see if there are any differences on framerate and overall graphics.

Seriously, when are we going to see screen shots in the preview panel in the store for every single game like it is on the Japanese PSN store? I lost count of how many times I’d pass up buying a game because I don’t know if the game is going to appeal to me aesthetically. Not to mention, a lot of times the descriptions are so uninformative without screen shots I wouldn’t even consider buying it.
*sigh* Was kind of hoping that Mega Man Powered Up was going to show this week. Only game I am missing since switching to the Go. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining about the system at all; I would just like to have my fav game on it.
When will we get Uncharted: Eye of Indra motion comic episodes 3 and 4 with pack-in?
Still waiting for the ability to block users on this blog like we can block users on the PSN. Please Grace, for the love of the PSN let us hide all the comments by these whiny brats so we only see comments by those who realize the world doesn’t revolve around them. Great update. i am not sure if this is a question for you Grace, but is there any way to get better folder structure for games on the PSP go? i have 20 games on there and would like to organize them a bit. at least more sorting options than most recently added or by exporation. i know this is more of a firmware thing, but you could get my comment to the right person i am sure.

Also, for the trophy system, how about you guys notify the user of when you “Level up” in a similar fashion to when you get a trophy. That way, it makes it feel like an accomplishment every level.
Not a bad update. Why isnt SCEA promoting the PSP go with a free game download of either Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines, Gran Turismo, or MotorStorm: Artic Edge like SCEE is doing?? They are giving it to people who have already bought the go or are getting it for the holidays, SCEA should jump on board!!
what happened to the FALL 50% off games? i saw a few i wanted today but had to go to the store to get a network card.. now the AD is still there.. but the games show FULL PRICE. i will not pay $15 and $10 for the 2 games i wanted. 5 and 7 50 were reasonable. bring the deals back please.

I don’t even know why I’m posting this because I’m sure it won’t make a difference, but here I am anyway.
Reading some of these posts, I honestly think its sad. PSP Go owners are limited to a small selection of games that customers are accustomed to getting a handful made available each Thursday. Meanwhile regular PSP owners have the full library available now with the option to purchase downloadable games. This is simply disappointing. All PSP games should have been made available for download by release of the PSP Go or shortly after. Not the way it’s being handled now.

Rumor says Sony is working on a UMD transfer system for PSP Go owners – well, forget it. I’m not spending any more money on the PSP Go. It is already over priced with too little games. Didn’t Sony learn this lesson already with the PS3 launch? I would of thought so.
I no longer see a benefit of owning the PSP Go. Tomorrow I trade it in. I’m not going to sit around and wait for SCEA to release a few PSP games each week. That is simply not satisfactory.
Tired of this… why has Sony been letting me down so much lately? Sometimes it feels like as they don’t listen anymore – now that they are “popular” again. I miss the Sony of yesterday, when they are struggling for our attention.
